Abstract

This research uses qualitative approach, because in this study tried to study phenomenology in an atmosphere that takes place naturally and naturally, not in controlled conditions. This research instrument is the researcher himself (human instrument/main tool) in addition researchers also bring other tools in the form of mobile phones, digital cameras. Other instruments include interview guidelines, observation guidelines and documentation guidelines. The result of fostering children's character in dayah is done through approach with individuals by getting used to establishing friendship because the role of dayah first in coaching ukhuwah is through the upbringing of santri-santri who shelter in the dayah because of the bad state of santri in adulthood depending on the education received in childhood if the mother instills ukhuwah, mutual respect, manners between each other love and be honest.

Abstract

Language attitudes play a vital role in maintaining or threatening the sustainability of a language. This study examines the language attitudes of students towards the Acehnese language by focusing on the potential for preservation and the threat of extinction of regional languages. The research was conducted on 400 students from 8 Islamic boarding schools in Lhokseumawe City and North Aceh who were randomly selected, including 4 modern dayahs and 4 traditional dayahs. Using Garvin and Mathiot's theory of language attitudes, this study evaluated three main aspects: language fidelity, language pride, and awareness of language norms. With the Mix Method approach, qualitative data is analyzed to provide in-depth descriptions, while quantitative data is processed using SPSS for statistical analysis. The results showed that the attitude of speaking Acehnese was positive, with average scores in the aspects of loyalty (67%), pride (59%), and awareness (66%). Interestingly, traditional dayah shows a higher level of language retention than modern dayah, with percentages of loyalty (73%), pride (63%), and awareness (72%). On the contrary, modern dayah students show lower scores in these three aspects. This research reinforces the importance of language preservation efforts through a community-based approach and education, as well as a reminder that language is a cultural bridge, not just a means of communication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada masalah rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di MIN 15 Pidie Jaya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bukti empiris mengenai efektivitas media audio visual dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar, sehingga dapat menjadi referensi bagi guru dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen (kuantitatif). Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di MIN 15 Pidie Jaya. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas, Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, Uji T, dan Uji Manova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata nilai post-test untuk kelompok eksperimen mencapai 86,71, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya 80,00. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar guru lebih sering mengintegrasikan media audio visual dalam proses pembelajaran dan melakukan pelatihan untuk memaksimalkan penggunaannya dalam pengajaran. Kata Kunci : Media audio visual, motivasi belajar, hasil belajar.
