Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the value of humanity in the film The Giver uses Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis approach. Described structured and conceptualized to be able to obtain valid and easy to understand data. The description of the data and the explanation of the aspects of the keywords above form a description of the information on research findings in order to obtain the concept of analysis regarding the human value that is to be sought for its existence. This research also aims to provide education and new insights about films that have messages and concepts about life that are different from usual. The film The Giver was chosen because it was deemed sufficient to have criteria as a film that deserves to be analyzed because it has a storyline and sketches of life that are anti-mainstream from others. This research uses semiotic analysis of Roland Barthes who studies the signs that will describe the denotative, connotative and mythical meanings of the story. This film analysis research process requires a high level of focus and commitment in order to obtain the conclusion data to be achieved. The results of this study illustrate how the human values in the film The Giver are not applied or violate human norms which are the fundamentals of a human's life.

Abstract

Pelatihan Pengembangan Pemasaran Digital Produk Pakan Ternak pada UMKM Tegal Salam Feed di Bogor, Jawa Barat merupakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja bisnis UMKM dalam memasarkan produknya melalui platform media sosial. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai tanggapan atas permasalahan ketersediaan pakan ternak pada musim kemarau yang mempengaruhi pengembangan usaha ternak Kambing dan domba. Dalam kegiatan ini, UMKM Tegal Salam Feed diberikan pelatihan tentang pemasaran digital dengan fokus pada penggunaan Instagram sebagai platform media sosial. Melalui pelatihan ini, anggota UMKM memperoleh pengetahuan tentang cara mengelola akun bisnis, memahami fitur-fitur dan insight Instagram untuk mendukung strategi pemasaran, serta mengoptimalkan anggaran pemasaran mereka. Dengan menggunakan pemasaran digital yang terarah, UMKM Tegal Salam Feed berhasil memperkenalkan merek dan produknya secara lebih luas, meningkatkan keterlibatan pelanggan, membuka peluang penjualan online melalui platform e-commerce, dan meningkatkan permintaan produk pakan ternak mereka. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga membantu anggota UMKM meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengelola platform media sosial, sehingga mereka lebih mahir dalam mengelola konten dan menggunakan analitik untuk memantau kinerja kampanye pemasaran digital. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, UMKM Tegal Salam Feed dapat menghemat biaya pemasaran dan mencapai hasil yang lebih optimal. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan pemasaran digital menjadi penting bagi UMKM untuk bersaing di era digital dan mencapai pertumbuhan bisnis yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research is an associative quantitative research, with a significance level of ? = 0.05 (5%) and a confidence level of 95%. The sample used random sampling with a sample of 123. The data collection method used a primary data system, namely observation and questionnaires and secondary data, namely literature study. Instrument testing uses validity tests and reliability tests, and data analysis methods use frequency distribution analysis, simple linear regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and t test. Data calculations were carried out manually and using SPSS. The research results show that the discipline variable in the frequency distribution analysis is perceived as good at 3.41 and employee performance is good at 3.44. In the linear regression analysis Y = 30.408 + 0.679 So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, these results explain that there is a significant influence between discipline on employee performance at the Indovickers Furnitama manufacturer.

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi (TI) memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Artikel ini membahas peran TI dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, meliputi akses sumber daya belajar, aplikasi pembelajaran, pembelajaran berbasis multimedia, komunikasi dan kolaborasi, e-assessment, dan pembelajaran mandiri. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur untuk mengumpulkan informasi terkini tentang peran TI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TI memberikan akses mudah ke sumber daya belajar, memfasilitasi aplikasi pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui konten multimedia, memungkinkan komunikasi dan kolaborasi global, memudahkan proses penilaian dan umpan balik, serta mendorong pembelajaran mandiri. Kesimpulannya, TI memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Traditional games are becoming outmoded and rarely used. Technology has transformed conventional games, making online games more engaging. PUBG Mobile is a popular internet game among teens. Social interaction concerns can arise in gaming, especially when one team or opponents is verbally attacked with criticism, insults, and humiliations. Players often criticise, criticise, and degrade teams and opponents in community participation and gaming. Dramaturgical analysis is used to evaluate Pubg Mobile Gamers' social interactions in the "Eden Esports" group. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research strategy. This study included interviews, observation, and documentation with ten informants. This study found that gamers use disparaging language and slurs. This contrasts with their domestic or non-community behaviour, when they speak less and do less. Completed. Goffman believes that direct interpersonal exchanges involve dramatic components. Individuals choose a character and expose it to appropriate situations and discussion partners.
