Abstract

The emergence of various models of religion in the cyber era has certainly influenced the religious behavior of teenagers in cities. This research seeks to analyze cyber religion practices carried out by Muslim teenagers in the city, by focusing on the use of social media in their religious practices. This research uses an ethnographic method with the supporting method being virtual ethnography. The informants were Muslim teenagers. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the practice of cyber religion has become a routine for teenagers, this is done as a form of seeking religious information or knowledge and deepening Islamic teachings, apart from that the practice of cyber religion is also used as entertainment for some teenagers. The digital platforms that are often used are YouTube and Instagram. These two media are popular with teenagers because they are considered to represent the needs and lives of urban teenagers who are mobile, fast and instant, so that for teenagers the most important thing in religious practice is the media and the information. This is what allows anyone to become a figure (da’i) transmitting religious teachings, and can even cause the death of religious figures. Abstrak Munculnya beragam model keberagamaan di era cyber ini tentunya mempengaruhi perilaku beragama para remaja kota. Penelitian ini berusaha menganalisa praktik cyber religion yang dilakukan remaja muslim di kota, dengan berfokus pada penggunaan media sosial dalam praktik keagamaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnografi dengan metode pendukung adalah etnografi virtual. Informannya adalah para remaja muslim. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik cyber religion sudah menjadi rutinitas para remaja, hal tersebut dilakukan sebagai wujud untuk mencari informasi atau pengetahuan agama dan memperdalam ajaran Islam, selain itu praktik cyber religion juga digunakan sebagai hiburan bagi sebagian remaja. Platform digital yang sering digunakan adalah youtube dan instagram. Kedua media tersebut digemari para remaja karena dianggap merepresesntasikan kebutuhan dan kehidupan remaja kota yang mobile, cepat dan instan, sehingga bagi para remaja yang terpenting dalam praktik keagamaan adalah media dan informasinya. Hal inilah yang membuat siapapun bisa menjadi tokoh (da’i) penyampai ajaran agama, bahkan bisa membuat matinya tokoh-tokoh agama.

Hal inilah yang membuat siapapun bisa menjadi tokoh (da’i) penyampai ajaran agama, bahkan bisa membuat matinya tokoh-tokoh agama.

Abstract

Program pengabdian berbasis kemitraan yang dilaksanakan oleh tim pengabdian Unisnu Jepara bekerjasama dengan mitra produktif yaitu UMKM Cemara Café BUMDES di Desa Dongos. Usaha tersebut dipimpin oleh Bapak Arif. Adanya usaha UMKM Cemara Café BUMDES Dongos ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pelatihan dan pengembangan oleh generasi muda untuk menciptakan inovasi-inovasi dari usaha dibidang makanan serta dapat membuka lowongan pekerjaan bagi pengangguran. Usaha UMKM Cemara Café BUMDES Dongos telah membuat usaha produksi makanan dan menampung beberapa usaha makanan dari UMKM sekitar. Adapun beberapa masalah yang kami temukan saat observasi dan wawancara di desa tersebut, yaitu pertama: belum memiliki sistem manajemen keuangan yang bagus; kedua belum ada pamlet atau banner untuk menu dan tanda pengenal cafe; ketiga kurangnya penghijauan sehingga udara terasa panas dan gersang; keempat kurangnya sumber daya manusia untuk tenaga pekerjanya; kelima kurangnya promosi pada sosial media dan belum adanya ciri khas untuk menarik pengunjung datang. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengoptimalkan kembali kegiatan di UMKM Cemara Café BUMDES Dongos ini, yaitu pertama memberikan pelatihan pembuatan laporan keuangan, kedua membuatkan desain dan banner untuk Cemara Café BUMDES Dongos, ketiga penanaman dan penghijauan, keempat memanfaatkan jumlah sumber daya manusia yang ada sehingga menjadi lebih produktif, kelima promosi di media sosial dan memberikan ciri khas dari menu yang ada di Cemara Café BUMDES Dongos.

Abstract

This community service was carried out between the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Unisnu Jepara and PCI Fatayat NU Malaysia. There are three aspects to the problem of this service: 1) The world's need for Da'wah in the style of Ahlis Sunnah wal Jama'ah; 2) The need for empowering resources and human resources related to materials, strategies, media, recognition and opportunities for preaching in the style of Ahlis Sunnah wal Jama'ah; 3) Empowering skills, initiation, innovation, collaboration opportunities, communication and problem solving formulations for Islamic da'wah problems that occur in parts of the world, so that Ahlis Sunnah wal Jama'ah style da'wah can become a universal movement. Through community service, the solutions offered are 1) Forming a "Universal Movement" for preaching in the style of Ahlis Sunnah wal Jama'ah an-Nahdliyyah; 2) Discussing and setting common goals, providing information, discussion materials, supporting self-development, formulating recognition and opportunities for universal movement; 4) Building the power of exploration, innovation and joint initiation; 5) Strengthen collaboration opportunities between Fadakom Unisnu Jepara and PCI Fatayat NU Malaysia; 6) Carry out synergy in developing da'i/da'iyah skills in various parts of the world.

Abstract

The Dua Garis Biru Film is a 2019 Indonesian teen drama film directed by Gina S. Noer. This film received various responses from the public when the trailer was shown, because it raised the theme of teenage pregnancy and provided an understanding of sex education in adolescent life. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of Jepara teenagers about sex education in the Dua Garis Biru film. This type of research is qualitative with a socio-psychological approach, the research subjects are teenagers from Jepara Regency, taken through purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the Dua Garis Biru film caused two perceptions, namely positive and negative regarding the message of sex education in it. Positive perception states that sex education is important and good for educating teenagers to be more vigilant in socializing in order to avoid premarital sex and prioritize education. Meanwhile, the negative perception is that not all teenage viewers can understand the message of sex education contained in the Dua Garis Biru film

Abstract

This research discusses the virtual identity of urban and rural Muslim teenagers. The method used is virtual ethnography, data collection techniques using documentation, interviews and observation. The research results show that cyber religion between urban and rural teenagers is not much different. Muslim teenagers often consume content or information on digital platforms. For urban Muslim teenagers, matters of religious activity are not for public consump-tion, but are instead private matters. This is different from Muslim teenagers in villages, who not only consume but also produce religious content because the majority of teenagers in villages have a background as alumni of Islamic boarding school students, so they already have sufficient religious knowledge, so they have the courage to produce religious content, this is This is also done as a form of broadcasting or preaching Islam as well as representing themselves as Muslim teenagers. From the cyber religion model of Muslim teenagers, both urban and rural, it shows that the religious identity formed and represented by teenagers shows liquidity, where teenagers want to be known as free, fluid individuals, even for religious activities, where with information technology this becomes easier. and practical.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze digital religion practices carried out by digital natives and digital immigrants. The research method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach, data collection using observation, interviews and virtual documentation via social media accounts and digital platforms. The practice of digital religion is online religious activity. However, in reality digital natives and digital immigrants actually choose to take part in learning or religious studies directly face to face with ustadz or kyai, rather than through online media. The practice of digital religion is only considered as a complement and helps fulfill the need for religious knowledge. In a religious context, social media or digital platforms have not been able to replace the direct religious learning process between ustadz or teachers and their students. This research contributes to media and communication studies, specifically Islamic communication to understand the perceptions of teenagers and parents in responding to digital religion practices which are widespread in various circles of society and other religions. The research is a study of media and religion with a phenomenological perspective with virtual ethnographic supporting data to understand people's religious practices both directly and through digital platforms. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik keagamaan digital yang dilakukan oleh digital natives dan digital imigran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi virtual melalui akun media sosial dan platform digital. Praktik agama digital adalah kegiatan keagamaan secara online. Namun pada kenyataannya, para digital native dan digital imigran justru memilih mengikuti pembelajaran atau kajian agama secara langsung dengan bertatap muka dengan ustadz atau kyai, dibandingkan melalui media online. Pengamalan agama digital hanya dianggap sebagai pelengkap dan membantu pemenuhan kebutuhan akan ilmu agama. Dalam konteks keagamaan, media sosial atau platform digital belum mampu menggantikan proses pembelajaran agama secara langsung antara ustadz atau guru dengan santrinya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada kajian media dan komunikasi khususnya komunikasi Islam untuk memahami persepsi remaja dan orang tua dalam menyikapi praktik keagamaan digital yang marak di berbagai kalangan masyarakat dan agama lain. Penelitian tersebut merupakan kajian media dan agama berperspektif fenomenologis dengan data pendukung etnografi virtual untuk memahami praktik keagamaan masyarakat baik secara langsung maupun melalui platform digital.

Abstract

Technological advances make it a human need to express themselves and form self-actualization through TikTok social media, such as sharing painting content in the era of modernization. The purpose of this research is to find out the existence of painting content and personal branding through TikTok as popular culture. This research uses a qualitative method with a virtual ethnography approach to the AMS (Cyber Media Analysis) model by Rulli Nasrullah, including 4 levels, namely, media space, media documents, media objects, and media experiences. Data collection techniques in this study through observation and documentation on TikTok accounts @erikarichardo, @rhmatdraw, and @dyssayangkamu. The results of the research through the AMS model found that the selection of TikTok is a good choice as a medium for self-expression through painting content because it has various features and its reach is wide open. In the era of digitalization, making painting as part of popular culture provides an excellent opportunity for artists and painting creators to build a reputation, create works that are attractive, known, and liked by many people.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini sebagai upaya untuk memberikan pengetahuan keterampilan Pembuatan Pembuatan Kerajinan yang Fungsional Dan Bernilai Estetik Dengan Memanfaatkan Limbah Kayu Di Desa Bugel. Pengetahuan keterampilan sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi masyarakat desa dalam memamfaatkan limbah kayu serta pengetahuan penanganan covid 19 dimasa pandemi. Kelompok sasaran kegiatan adalah masyarakat di Di Desa Bugel Kecamatan Kedung. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan adalah metode workshop, dimana peserta kegiatan program pelatihan akan dituntun step by step oleh pemateri.  Target luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah 1) Meningkatkan potensi masyarakat dalam kerajinan yang fungsional dan bernilai estetik dengan memanfaatkan limbah kayu menjadi produk yang berdayaguna. 2) Menumbuhkan pengetahuan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan limbah kayu. 3) Membekali masyarakat dengan pengetahuan keterampilan serta pengetahuan penanganan Covid-19 secara mandiri. Sehingga terjadi peningkatan potensi pengetahuan keterampilan khususnya dalam memanfaatkan limbah kayu serta pengetahuan tentang penanganan Covid-19 dimasa pandemi bagi masyarakat di Desa Bugel Kecamatan Kedung.
