Abstract

In Buko village Demak Regency, has a different cultural community, namely the Javanese people as indigenous people and the Madurese community as migrants. This cultural difference is what led to the process of cultural acculturation. Coastal culture related to coastal traditions over time, technological developments and modernization are shifting. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the traditions of Javanese and Madurese coastal communities that still exist and are carried out, the processes and forms of acculturation of Javanese and Madurese culture in Buko Village. So that it can prove that cultural differences do not make the basis for the existence of division, instead it makes unity. Type research ethnographic approach, informants with purposive sampling technique, data collection by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses cultural theme. Coastal traditions between the Javanese and Madurese communities in Buko Village that are still being carried out are nanggap wayang, mitoni, ngapati and sumur tiban as a tradition of Javanese people, the tradition of Madurese people is the istigosah and activities of the Laskar Madura community. Javanese and Madurese traditions in Buko Village occur cultural acculturation through blind acculturation because people with different cultures in this case Java and Madura live close to each other and cultural patterns are learned accidentally. One tradition as a form of cultural acculturation between Javanese and Madurese communities is manaqib, this tradition has the purpose of strengthening ties and increasing unity between Javanese and Madurese people who have different cultures and languages.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the marketing communication strategy carried out by the Jawa Pos Radar Kudus Bureau of Jepara in attracting advertising interest and to see advertising signals in the June-August 2019 period. This research is a field research (field research) descriptive qualitative research type. This study uses a cybernetics approach. This research is to find marketing communication strategies to attract advertisers in Radar Kudus, Jepara Jawa Pos Bureau, Jepara Jl Pemuda No. 90 Jepara. The data technique is carried out by observation, interviews and literature study that are relevant to the object of research and then the data is analyzed using data reduction methods, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the marketing communication strategy of JawaPos Radar Kudus Bureau of Jepara in attracting advertising marketing interest through (1) advertising; (2) personal selling; (3) sales promotion; (4) public relations; (5) direct marketing. Of the five elements, the Jepara Jawa Pos Bureau Radar Kudus applies the theory of Integrated Marketing Communication.

Abstract

The journalistic school service activities were carried out at MA NU Tengguli. This school has students who have the potential to write, both writing short stories, poetry, and poetry but are not structured and do not meet the standard rules of writing. Besides the ability to write news or opinions and articles not yet seen. The aim of this services is to increase the journalism skill of the students there. Based on the analysis, the activities carried out are 1) News writing training; 2) Training on making press releases; 3) Training on layout and editing of scripts. The results obtained are 1) Students are able to arrange interview questions and write in the form of reportage; 2) students are able to make news; 3) students are able to make press releases and understand the functions of public relations; 4) students are able to make simple layouts for wall magazines and do editing of scripts.

Abstract

Social media is now present and changing the paradigm of community communication, where now communication can occur anywhere at any time without having to meet face to face. Social media Instagram is a communication media in the form of an application for sharing photos, which allows users to take photos, apply digital filters, so that they can be seen by followers of other Instagram user accounts and allow them to respond to each other such as likes, comments etc. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between the use of Instagram social media on narcissistic behavior among students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Unisnu Jepara. In this study, there are two variables, namely the use of Instagram as an independent variable (independent) and narcissistic behavior as the dependent variable. The sample in this study were students of class 2016-2019. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling. Data collection methods consisted of observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the IMB SPSS Statistics 25 application. The results of the correlation test using the product moment correlation analysis between the use of Instagram social media on narcissistic behavior were 0.636 with a significance value of 0.000, which means that there is a significant and positive influence between the use of Instagram on narcissistic behavior among Study Program students. Media sosial kini hadir dan merubah paradigma berkomunikasi masyarakat, dimana sekarang ini komunikasi bisa terjadi dimana saja kapan saja tanpa harus bertatap muka secara langsung. Media sosial Instagram adalah media komunikasi berupa aplikasi untuk berbagi foto, yang memungkinkan penggunanya untuk mengambil foto, menerapkan filter digital, sehingga dapat dilihat oleh para pengikut akun pengguna Instagram lain dan memungkinkan untuk saling memberikan respon seperti like, komentar dll. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh antara penggunaan media sosial Instagram terhadap perilaku narsisme di kalangan mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam, Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi, Unisnu Jepara. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel, yaitu penggunaan Instagram sebagai variabel bebas (independen) dan perilaku narsisme sebagai variabel terikat (dependen). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2016-2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi IMB SPSS Statistics 25. Hasil uji korelasi menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment antara penggunaan media sosial Instagram terhadap perilaku narsisme adalah 0,636 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan dan positif antara penggunaan Instagram terhadap perilaku narsisme di kalangan mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam, Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi, Unisnu Jepara.

Abstract

In facing the dynamics of life that are happening, preachers need to upgrade themselves, elaborate, and use all their capabilities for Islamic da'wah activities. Da'i are required to use the media and messages from al-Qur'an and al-Hadith, in the form of faith, sharia, and morals. Da'i in this case is not only aimed at ustaz, kiai, or religious leaders. However, every Muslim and Muslimah is actually a da'i, whether for himself, others, or society in general. One concrete example was carried out by a young Muslim named Afrizal Luthfi Lisdianta, with a work in the form of the novel Dzikir Hati Sang Rocker as a medium for his preaching. This study aims to reveal the message of da'wah in the novel Dzikir Hati Sang Rocker through discourse analysis. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. This means, as the main source in the form of a novel, it will be narrated by the researcher and adjusted to the theory and analysis used. The analysis in this study uses a discourse analysis model of Teun A. Van Dijk, with its various elements. The results of the study indicate that there is a correspondence between the study of da'wah, novels, and discourse analysis. So that there are two important points, namely: 1) In the sub-chapter of The Jabberwocky, it is found that da'wah messages in the form of husnuzan to fellow human beings, including messages in the moral category and maintaining mahdhah worship, including messages of the category of sharia. 2) In the turning point sub-chapter, a message of preaching is found in the form of believing in the destiny of Allah SWT and creed, which is included in the message of preaching in the category of faith, and not being vindictive, which is included in the message of the moral category. Keywords: Dawah, Writing Media, Novels, Discourse Analysis Dalam menghadapi dinamika kehidupan yang sedang terjadi, dai perlu untuk meng- -upgrade diri, mengelaborasi, dan menggunakan segala kemampuan yang dimiliki untuk kegiatan dakwah Islam. Dai dituntut untuk menggunakan media dan pesanpesan dari al-Quran dan al-Hadits, berupa akidah, syariah, dan akhlak. Dai dalam hal ini bukan hanya tertuju pada ustaz, kiai, atau pemuka agama. Akan tetapi, setiap muslim dan muslimah sejatinya adalah dai, baik untuk dirinya, orang lain, atau masyarakat secara umum. Salah satu contoh konkrit dilakukan oleh pemuda Islam bernama Afrizal Luthfi Lisdianta, dengan karya berupa novel Dzikir Hati Sang Rocker sebagai media dakwahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pesan dakwah di dalam novel Dzikir Hati Sang Rocker melalui analisis wacana. Metode penelitiannya menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Artinya, sebagai sumber utama dalam bentuk novel, akan dinarasikan oleh peneliti dan disesuaikan dengan teori dan analisis yang digunakan. Analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis wacana model Teun A. Van Dijk, dengan berbagai elemennya. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada kesesuaian antara kajian dakwah, novel, dan analisis wacana. Sehingga terdapat dua poin penting, yakni: 1) Pada sub-bab The Jabberwocky ditemukan pesan dakwah berupa husnuzan kepada sesama manusia termasuk pesan dakwah kategori akhlak dan menjaga ibadah mahdhah termasuk pesan dakwah kategori syariat.2) Pada subbab Titik Balik ditemukan pesan dakwah berupapercaya terhadap takdir Allah SWT dan akidah yang termasuk pesan dakwah kategori akidah, serta tidak pendendam yang termasuk pesan dakwah kategori akhlak. Abstract

The film Dilan 1991 is a sequel to the previous film Dilan 1990 with the highest number of viewers in 2019. This teen romance drama genre film was adopted from the novel entitled Dilan: Dia is Dilanku in 1991 by Pidi Baiq. This romance nuanced film makes pornographic elements very thick in it. This study was conducted to find out how the students of SMK Az Zahra Mlonggo's perception of the pornographic aspect of the 1991 film Dilan. This study used a qualitative method with a focus group discussion approach. Then analyzed using content analysis method. The data validity technique was carried out using a source triangulation technique with attribution theory by Fritz Haider. From the results of student perceptions, it shows that there are pornographic aspects in the 1991 film Dilan including action porn, sound porn and pornography. Student perceptions are divided into two, namely positive perceptions and negative perceptions. Positive perception is a natural, normal, and mediocre thing because it is influenced by association, knowledge, insight, needs, pleasures and student habits. Negative perception, an impression is not good because students judge from a religious point of view

Abstract

Impersonal communication is the most basic thing. Through the good impersonal communication, the relationship that tied in is good too. In “Surga yang Tak Dirindukan” movie, there are some scene that describe impersonal communication among the actors. Besides as the place of impersonal communication, “Surga yang Tak Dirindukan” contains the preaching contents that can be use for faundation of attitude and standing. The movie was released on July 2015 that directed by Kuntz Agus. The purpose of the research is to know how the pattern of impersonal communication in “Surga yang Tak Dirindukan” movie, and search the preaching contents that contained in it. The kind of the research is descriptive qualitative and semiotic data analysis of Roland Barthes type. The result of the research is the communication that used among the actors of “Surga yang Tak Dirindukan” movie. It is diadic communication (communication between two people), that happen on primer and secunder. But sometimes also use triadic communication (communication among three people). Some preaching contents that contained in it are helping someone who needs, being a good leader, being a loyal wife, being a good sincer kind mother and sincerity to yield.

Abstract

Television advertisements that are broadcasted on television have to use words and language styles that uphold the values of honesty, clarity, and honor. The special features of the language of advertising are short, dense, clear, and interesting. The advertisement is called successfull if the advertisement is able to attract the audiences. Moreover, they then buy the product. Therefore the advertisement is considered important in determining the success of a product. However, It needs to know that advertisements that are broadcasted on television can not be separated from the interests of capital owner, organizer and television stations that just think about the rating. Thus, the advertisements that are created and broadcasted on television are not appropriate with business ethics. Keywords: television, advertisement, capitalism Iklan yang ditayangkan televisi harus menggunakan kata-kata dan gaya bahasa yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kejujuran, kejelasan, dan kehormatan. Ciri khusus bahasa iklan antara lain singkat, padat, jelas, dan menarik. Iklan dikatakan berhasil jika pengiklan dapat memikat sasarannya menjadi mitra untuk mendukung bahkan membeli barang produksi yang ditawarkan, oleh sebab itu iklan dianggap penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan suatu produk. Namun, perlu diketahui bahwa iklan-iklan yang tayang di televisi juga tidak terlepas dari kepentingan pemilik modal, pengelola televisi dan pemilik stasiun televisi yang hanya berpikir pada rating. Sehingga iklan yang dibuat dan tayang di televisi tidak sesuai dengan etika bisnis. Kata kunci: televisi, iklan, kapitalisme

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is fairly effective in telling, giving opinions or changing a person's behavior, because communication is reciprocal and the response from the communicant can be known directly. The purpose of this study was to determine the interpersonal communication processes and strategies between kiai and santri in instilling moral moral values in the Al-Mustaqim Islamic Boarding School of Bugel's son. This type is qualitative research w ith a hermeneutic phenomenology approach. The subjects of this study were kiai, administrators and students of the Islamic Boarding School Al-Mustaqim, the son of Bugel whose samples were taken through a snowball sampling technique. While the object is the process and interpersonal communication strategy. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, documentation, interviewing and then the data is analyzed by data analysis methods, data reduction , data coding and data analysis. The results of this study are interpersonal communication processes and strategies carried out between kiai and santri in instilling akhlakul karimah values in Al-Mustaqim Islamic Boarding School in Bugel Village, namely direct communication with two forms of processes, namely the process of interpersonal communication in the session pengajian (through sorogan recitation method in dyadic communication and bandongan in small group communication) and non-recitation interpersonal communication process in (1) Boarding School Management Consultation: (2) Development of santri: (3) Special consultation. And interpersonal communication strategies, namely: (1) Dangled Carrot Strategy: (2) Dependent Sword Strategy.

Abstract

Motivation for lecturers is very important to increase the work spirit and motivation related to an encouragement that comes out from one's self to perform the whole duty based on the responsibility of each. For a lecturer, the duty and responsibility are seen in implementing Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. The hypotheses can be taken is a lecturer who has a high work motivation will result a high performance also. Motivation is a desire in a person that causes the person to take an action. There are five needs expressed by Abraham Maslow. They are: (1) physiological needs; (2) safety needs; (3) social belonging needs; (4) esteem needs ; and (5) self-actualization needs. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the implementation model of Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs in increasing the motivation of lecturer's performance at Unisnu Jepara. The sampling technique of this study is using purposive sampling technique. It is taking data by sampling based on certain considerations. The output of this study is the publication of scientific journal.
