Abstract

In a company, the process of employees recruitment and performance appraisal are very crucial. The recruitment is the first process which selects the potential employees that would meet the company’s pre-defined criteria. Meanwhile, the performance appraisal is a way to evaluate employees’ performances whether or not the employees have achieved the company’s goals. In PT. XYZ, both employee recruitment and performance appraisal processes were manually conducted. This manual process were indeed proned to many mistakes and unfair decisions. For that reason, an information system is indispensable to support the aforementioned processes. In this study, we have developed a web-based application which can support the recruitment and performance appraisal process. UML diagram version 2.4 and Rapid Application Development (RAD) with prototyping method were employed to support the development of our application. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method were also embedded in our application to select and rank the applicants based on several criteria in a more objective manner. The result of this study is a fully functional web-based application which is able to support, automate, as well as accelerate the recruitment and performance appraisal process at PT. XYZ. Abstract

Along with the development of times, artisan cakes are increasingly in demand by the public to celebrate special days or as a gift. Online artisan cake is a cake shop that uses social media like Instagram and Facebook to sell their cakes. The current cake ordering process is still done manually which is done through two stages. First, customer sees and chooses the type and design of cakes through Instagram or Facebook. Second, he or she places an order on the cake selected before via Line or WhatsApp. The need of two different media makes the ordering system less efficient. Apart from that, customer who want to make special or custom requests can only deliver their request through messages via Line or WhatsApp, so there are often misunderstanding and inaccuracies caused by either customer or cake maker different picture of request. Therefore, an information system is needed to support the order process and cake design at online artisan cake shops using Rapid Application Development (RAD) system development using prototyping. System modeling is developed by using UML 2.5, namely use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams and entity relationship diagrams. The final result of this final project is a website that supports ordering process and cake design at online artisan cake shops that can simplify the ordering process and order customization on the design of the ordered cakes. The website created has gone through the test phase and is ready to use.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a crucial factor for the sustainability of a company, including tech companies like Gojek. This condition exists because customer satisfaction affects the continuation of customers purchasing or reusing the company's services. Promotions or offers are commonly applied strategies by companies to enhance attractiveness among competitors and improve customer satisfaction. Therefore, this research aims to understand customer sentiments towards promotions or offers provided by the Gojek company to develop better promotional strategies by increasing customer satisfaction. The data source for this research comes from user tweets on the social media platform Twitter which has now changed to "X". The method used to determine the sentiment of this data is the support vector machine.
