Abstract

Teacher strategy is a form of effort in learning, including varying how to deliver, teach and create an atmosphere to students. The ice breaking method or in Indonesian icebreaker is a model and game activity with the aim of breaking the ice. While the spirit of learning is a positive feeling that influences and changes behavior in an effort to obtain knowledge. In this strategy, the teacher provides ice breaking activities in class during the teaching and learning process to students with the aim of creating an active and eager classroom atmosphere. In this study using descriptive qualitative methods with a type of case study research. The data collection techniques are in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The purpose of this study is 1) to determine the process of teacher strategies using the ice breaking method, 2) to find out the obstacles and support experienced by teachers in using the ice breaking method, 3) To find out the response of students in receiving the ice breaking method from the teacher. After the data collected data and data analysis, the results of the research in the form of using the ice breaking method in social studies learning were able to create an active classroom atmosphere and increase students' positive feelings in the form of enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

Educators strive for learning methods to improve the results of their students' learning evaluations at the end of material testing. The results of learning evaluations by students can be used as a benchmark for educators in assessing how well students understand the learning material that has been taught and can see the realization of learning objectives. History itself is a field of study that is rich in material. The use of the recitation method has an essential role in increasing students' understanding. This research examines the success of applying the recitation method to history learning in an effort to improve student learning outcomes. By using pre-test and post-test research, we will find out the differences before and after implementing the recitation method. These findings indicate that the integration of recitation methods in history learning can support increasing the academic achievement of students in the field of history.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decline in students’ interest in reading. Therefore, social studies teachers play a role in guiding and fostering student to become students who love to read given the importance of reading in life. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Observation is used to observe activities in SMPN 2 Kepung Kediri Regency, interviews and documentation are used to explore information about the problem under study, as well as school document data. The result showed that : is by motivating students by using simple and relaxed learning but still monitor students well, giving a good example to students. Teachers also give appreciation to students such as giving grades, praise, and videoing students when presenting. In addition, the teacher’s efforts are as a classroom manager, the teacher ensure students are in the classroom, ensure the cleansliness and comfort of the classroom, and strives for learning to run well. The supporting factors namely the teacher creates a pleasant of reading book facilities made tosupport student learning. The inhibiting factor is the focus of students who began to decline in the middle of learning, the ability of different students – different and there are student who are lazy.

Abstract

This research departs from the large number of tuition in Indonesia and the lack of entrepreneurs who graduated from universities. This study aims to find out: 1) Is there an influence of entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial interest of Tadris IPS students of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung? 2) Is there an influence of entrepreneurship education on the creativity of Tadris IPS students of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung? The benefit of this research is to provide an understanding of the influence of entrepreneurship education on students and related institutions in the hope of motivating and increasing students' interest and creativity in entrepreneurship. This study uses a quantitative approach because the data of this research is in the form of numbers that have gone through statistical analysis. This study uses numbers to explain and describe the results that have been tested with real life. Based on the results of the determination coefficient test (R Square), entrepreneurship education has an influence of 21.2% on students' interest in entrepreneurship. Based on the results of the determination coefficient test (R Square), entrepreneurship education has an influence of 5.7%. This means that entrepreneurship education only explains 5.7% of the variation in entrepreneurial creativity, so there are still other external factors that are more dominant in influencing students' interest and creativity. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education plays an important role in increasing students' interest and creativity in entrepreneurship. Therefore, improving the quality of entrepreneurship education and adding practical experience can further encourage student creativity in entrepreneurship. This also shows the need for additional support for other factors that affect creativity so that entrepreneurship education can be more optimal in encouraging business innovation among students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the phenomenon of increasingly massive social media usage among adolescents, including those in Sumberdadap Village, Pucanglaban Subdistrict, Tulungagung Regency. On the one hand, social media offers various benefits for teenagers. However, on the other hand, unwise social media usage can potentially lead to negative impacts. Therefore, it is crucial to understand how adolescents in Sumberdadap Village utilize social media and its effects on their social behavior. This research is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the social media usage phenomenon among adolescents and its impact on their social interaction, communication, and participation in community life. This study focuses on the following: 1) What social media platforms are used by adolescents in Sumberdadap Village, 2) How adolescents in Sumberdadap Village use social media, 3) How social media usage impacts the social behavior of adolescents in Sumberdadap Village. The research objectives are to identify: 1) The social media platforms used by adolescents in Sumberdadap Village, 2) How adolescents in Sumberdadap Village use social media, 3) The impact of social media usage on the social behavior of adolescents in Sumberdadap Village. This research employs a descriptive qualitative research method. Data is collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Observation is conducted to gain a closer understanding of the research subjects, while interviews are used to openly explore the issues within Sumberdadap Village, Tulungagung. Documentation is utilized to gather data by examining existing documents and serves as a means to prepare data, allowing the researcher to obtain maximum information that accurately reflects the condition of the researched object. The results of this study reveal how adolescents in Sumberdadap Village utilize social media in their daily lives and its consequences. With a considerably high intensity of social media usage, adolescents generally utilize it as their primary means of online communication and a way to spend their leisure time. Consequently, social media brings both positive and negative impacts on adolescents, as their parents fear, if not balanced with guidance and supervision during their social media usage.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of enthusiasm of class X MA Assalam Jambewangi Selopuro Blitar students in learning history. History learning is carried out in the classroom in a conventional way which seems monotonous and boring. This greatly affects students' way of thinking, creativity and understanding of the material and has an impact on learning outcomes that are less than optimal, therefore it is necessary to innovate learning methods so that the idea emerged from researchers to research the use of Penataran Temple as a source of historical learning. The problem formula in writing this inscription is 1. What are the steps for learning history, 2. What are the supporting and inhibiting factors, and 3. What are the implications of implementing history learning (by using the Penataran Temple Site as a source of history learning by applying to class X MA students Greetings). This research aims to find out the steps for learning history, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors, and what are the implications of implementing the use of the Penataran Temple Site as a source of history learning by applying the inquiry method to class X MA Assalam students. This research is a descriptive qualitative type of research with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out whether jigsaw type cooperative learning can overcome the problems that exist in students in the form of lack of activeness and also learning outcomes. The subjects sampled in this study were students of class VII E as many as 31 students and class VII G as many as 30 students. The data collection method uses quantitative methods. This research design uses class action experimental research. Class VII E as a control class by applying a lecture or conventional learning model, while class VII G as an experimental class applied the jigsaw type cooperative learning model. This research was conducted for three meetings in each class. The results obtained from this study were that the jigsaw type cooperative learning gained an advantage by getting an activeness score of 86 and learning outcomes of 83.33 in the experimental class. While the learning model with a lecture or conventional model is only able to get an average score of 79.97 and an average value of learning outcomes worth 76.45 in the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the jigsaw type cooperative learning model is able to influence students' activeness and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study discusses the internalization of tolerance values ​​through social capital in madrasahs. Using a qualitative approach and case study at MA Futuhiyyah Jeketro, this study examines how social capital in the form of trust, networks, and values ​​can shape a culture of tolerance in the educational environment. The results of the study indicate that public trust in madrasahs, supported by the quality of education and good management of madrasahs, contributes to building a harmonious environment. In addition, social networks between madrasahs and various parties, including parents, communities, and educational organizations, are important factors in strengthening tolerance values. The norms and values ​​applied in madrasahs, such as discipline, honesty, and religiosity, play a role in shaping the character of students who are more inclusive and respect diversity. Thus, the internalization of tolerance values ​​in madrasahs can be strengthened through effective management of social capital, thereby creating a more open and harmonious educational environment.

Abstract

Islam has recently received a negative label as a religion of violence, anarchy, terror, deviating from peace and safety, and its teachings are considered contrary to conscience and common sense. Tariqa Syadziliyah becomes something interesting, because it is not only related to religious rituals, but also has influences in the socio-cultural and economic fields. The focus of this research is 1) How does Pondok PETA apply moderation in teaching thariqa Syadziliyah? 2) How does Pondok Peta apply moderation in socio-cultural life? 3) How does Pondok PETA apply moderation in the economic field? While the purpose of answering the research’s focus is to 1) Analyze and describe the religious practices of the Syadziliyah Congregation at Pondok PETA developing into a culture of the Tulungagung community. 2) Analyzing and describing social life, economic empowerment of the Syadzililiyah congregation. This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach in collecting data. Using social construction theory from Peter Berger and Thomas Luckman, moderation theory, and AGIL from Talcott Parsons as his analytical tools. This study found that Pondok PETA was able to adapt to the conditions of the times by modifying the practices of the tarekat without sacrificing the nature of their teachings. Socio-cultural moderation in Pondok PETA is attempted by making the congregation human beings who are humble, not concerned with the worldly, while at the same time teaching respect for different people. The practices that are practiced are made to maintain the behavior of the congregation in accordance with the teachings of the lodge, even though they are far from the Murshid. Economic moderation is achieved through the modern KSPPS BMT PETA which functions as a data collection and development program, while for the congregation to improve welfare, istiqomah, reverence for teachers and increase spiritual piety.

Abstract

Coloring activities in early childhood as a basic foundation for improving fine motor skills. The purpose and objective of this coloring service is to stimulate the creativity of early childhood which has a positive effect as a vehicle for children's expression, color recognition, use of fingers, wrist skills and coordination between eyes and hands. The method approach used is through three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage of the activity. This service is located at the early childhood school RA AL HIKMAH Doroampel, Sumber Gempol, Tulungagung. The results of coloring activities in early childhood are obtained that students are able to express their art creations with various color combinations used, activities take place enthusiastically and conducively and improve fine motor skills of early childhood.
