Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the motivation and learning outcomes of grade X students in History subjects at MAN 3 Jombang. The background of this study is the low motivation of students to learn due to the use of conventional learning models that tend to make students passive, bored, and less interested. The TGT model is considered an alternative because it can increase students' active involvement in the learning process. This research used a quantitative approach with quasi experiment method. The research samples were students from class X-11, which was the experimental class, and X-15, which was the control class. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was done by prerequisite test (normality and homogeneity), Independent Sample t-Test test, and MANOVA test. The results showed that the TGT learning model had a significant effect on learning motivation, with the value of tcount (9.180) > ttable (2.022) and Sig. 0,000 < 0,05. In addition, TGT also has a significant effect on learning outcomes, with tcount (7.979) > ttable (2.022) and Sig. 0,000 < 0,05. Simultaneously, TGT affects student motivation and learning outcomes based on MANOVA test (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05).

Abstract

This study is motivated by the teacher's learning strategies having a significant impact on student motivation, understanding, and learning outcomes so that students are expected to be able to learn effectively. The formulation of the problem in this study is: (1) How are the learning strategies used by teachers to improve the learning effectiveness of class X students in geography subjects at SMAN 1 Ngunut Tulungagung? (2) What are the obstacles for teachers in improving the learning effectiveness of class X students in geography subjects at SMAN 1 Ngunut Tulungagung? (3) What is the impact on students in the application of teacher strategies in geography subjects for class X at SMAN 1 Ngunut Tulungagung? The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the learning strategies used by teachers in improving the learning effectiveness of class X students in geography subjects at SMAN 1 Ngunut Tulungagung. (2) to determine the obstacles for teachers in improving the learning effectiveness of class X students in geography subjects at SMAN 1 Ngunut Tulungagung. (3) to determine the impact on students in the application of teacher strategies in geography subjects for class X at SMAN 1 Ngunut Tulungagung. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Informants in this study include Geography teachers and class X students at SMAN 1 Ngunut Tulungagung and all parties involved. The results of the study indicate that the Learning Strategies used by teachers in improving the effectiveness of student learning in Geography Subjects at SMAN 1 Ngunut Tulungagung are 2, namely Expository and Inquiry Strategies. The obstacles experienced include: 1) lack of response in the learning process, 2) bad influence from friends, 3) sleeping in class. Impact on students in implementing teacher strategies in Geography subjects for class X The ability to draw conclusions, students are able to present conclusions in a coherent and sequential manner. This study recommends that teachers are expected to be active in participating in training, coaching which is usually held at school or outside school regarding learning strategies. For students, it is hoped that students can focus more on the subject matter taught by the teacher.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of the Full Day School system which has a significant impact on students' learning motivation. The formulation of the problem in this study is: (1) How is the implementation of the Full Day School system at SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut? (2) What is the strategy in increasing the motivation to learn history subjects for class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut? (3) What are the obstacles or barriers to the implementation of the Full Day School system in increasing the motivation to learn history subjects for class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut? The objectives of this research are (1) to find out the implementation of the Full Day School system at SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut, (2) to find out the strategies for increasing motivation to learn the subject of History for class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut, (3) to find out the obstacles or barriers to the implementation of the Full Day School system in increasing motivation to learn the subject of History for class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The informants of this study include History teachers and grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut and all parties involved. The results of the study indicate that there are 2 strategies in increasing student learning motivation by History subject teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut, namely Intrinsic Motivation and Extrinsic Motivation. The obstacles or barriers experienced include: 1) Physical fatigue, 2) Mental saturation, 3) Teacher capacity and varied learning methods.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in history learning at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Hikmah Tawangsari. The background of this study is based on the rapid development of ICT in the era ofe the industrial revolution 4.0 which has an impact on the education sector, especially in Islamic boarding school-based institutions. Thisc study usesa a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Darul Hikmah Islamice Boarding Schoole has succeeded in integrating ICT into history learning through the preparation of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), preparation ofe learning media, and implementation of ICT-based learning. The application of ICT has been proven to increase students' interest, activeness, and understanding of history material. This study provides an overview of the strategy of ICT integration in history learning in the Islamic boarding school environment and its positive implications for the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of YouTube learning media in improving students' critical thinking skills in history subjects of class XI at SMAN 1 Karangrejo. The background of this study is based on the low interest in learning and students' critical thinking skills in understanding abstract and narrative historical materials. YouTube media is considered as one of the interactive and interesting learning alternatives, which can visualize historical events in a concrete and easy-to-understand manner. The formulation of the problem obtained by the author is how the use of YouTube media among class XI students at SMAN 1 Karangrejo, in supporting the teaching and learning process. How effective is the use of YouTube-based learning media on the critical thinking skills of class XI students, in history subjects at SMAN 1 Karangrejo. From the formulation of the problem, the purpose of writing is to find out the use of YouTube media among class XI students at SMAN 1 Karangrejo, in supporting the teaching and learning process. To find out the effectiveness of the use of YouTube-based learning media on the critical thinking skills of class XI students, in history subjects at SMAN 1 Karangrejo. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with history teachers and students, and documentation. The main focus of this study is on the learning process, student responses to the use of YouTube media, and how the media facilitates the development of students' critical thinking skills. The results of the study showed that the use of YouTube media had a positive impact on improving students' critical thinking skills. The historical videos shown were able to stimulate curiosity, encourage discussion, and help students analyze and evaluate historical events in more depth. In addition, students became more active, enthusiastic, and involved in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is based on the situation of students who lack enthusiasm when learning and tend to be passive. The objectives of this research are To determine the effect of ctl learning model on students' interest and learning outcomes in social studies subjects in X grade MA Darul Falah. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasy Experimental Design type of experiment and the research design used is a posttest-only control group design. The population in this study were all X grade students at MA Darul Falah. The sample for this study was 30 control class students and 23 experimental class students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection uses student learning interest questionnaires and student learning achievement tests. Data analysis in hypothesis testing uses the T test, namely the Independent Sample T-Test and MANOVA Test. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the time token learning model has an effect on students' interests and learning outcomes as evidenced by the sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. the implications of this study show that the use of the ctl learning model can increase student interest.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the factors causing learning difficulties experienced by eighth-grade students. This research is motivated by the symptoms that occur in students during history learning. Symptoms often experienced by students include getting bored quickly, difficulty concentrating, laziness, drowsiness, and saturation during history learning. In contrast, only a few students experience learning difficulties in other social studies subjects like economics and geography. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. There are three data collection techniques used in this research: observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations are conducted directly by the researcher to obtain valid data. The data analysis technique used includes data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of students in Economics subjects at SMAN 1 Sutojayan. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of using the Quizizz application on learning interest, learning outcomes, and both simultaneously in class XI students. The method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, involving 60 students from two classes. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests, then analyzed using the t test of two independent samples and the MANOVA test. The results showed that the Quizizz application had a significant effect on increasing students' learning interest and learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.002 for the t test and 0.000 for the MANOVA test, respectively. this study shows that the use of interactive learning media such as Quizizz is effective in increasing student learning engagement and achievement.

Abstract

The peer teaching method is a strategic learning tool for creating a conducive learning environment, allowing students to play an active role and fostering connectivity between students. This method can be used as an alternative in classroom learning activities where students with the ability can act as tutors. This activity was carried out at AL Munawar Kindergarten in Tulungagung, with stages ranging from planning, training implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the community service activities were an increase in student abilities, learning outcomes, active and critical thinking skills, and communication skills. To achieve these results, strategic efforts are needed, starting from curriculum development, improving teacher competence, and providing learning facilities. Although it still has a number of weaknesses, including the difficulty of finding the right tutor who is confident and capable of mastering the material, the peer teaching method can be used as a reference for effective learning media in nurturing and developing students.

Abstract

Social change among teenagers today needs to be a common focus so as not to damage culture. Teenagers are the determinants of the fate of the nation. Brilliant teenagers are teenagers who are not eroded by the current of negative social change. This research aims to determine the relationship between consumer lifestyles and their impact on the learning motivation of students at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Consumptive behavior is a form of social change that is widely experienced by teenagers in the transitional age towards adulthood, so it is important for humans today to suppress the problem of negative impacts caused by social change. Various findings of information collected from students as respondents and which have been processed by researchers have resulted in input that consumer behavior increases motivation or enthusiasm for learning because by excessively and impulsively subscribing to goods or services, it creates satisfaction and happiness in itself, plus the large number of stalls available, thus making things easier for respondents. Consumptive attitudes are added to by the desire of students who want to keep up with the times by buying the latest fashion..
