Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how effective HOTS instruction has improved the reading abilities of students in class VIII at MTsN 1 South Tangerang. The descriptive approach was employed in this study, and the data were gathered through test-taking, teacher and student interviews, as well as observation of class activities. The results also indicate that the teacher frequently employed a technique similar to HOTS, such as an excellent game, in the classroom to stimulate students' critical thinking. The data analysis leads to the conclusion that HOTS is appropriate for use in teaching reading to junior high school students. Keywords: Reading, HOTS, Society 5.0 References (2010-2022)

Abstract

This research aims to describe the planned change process using Kurt Lewin's theory to optimize effective communication during ward handovers by improving the nursing manager's function. The method used is a case study including assessment activities, problem analysis, preparation of planning of action (POA), implementation, and evaluation. The research results show that in the unfreezing phase, problems were found that the performance of effective communication during the handover was not optimal, so the priority strategy for solving the problem was optimizing the planning function for handover activities. In the movement phase, a POA was prepared with indicators that were successfully achieved, namely the preparation of a revised handover SPO draft and socialization of the revised SPO draft with the nursing sector, Head Nurse, and Clinical Care Manager. In contrast, this could not be done in the refreezing phase due to time constraints, so a follow-up plan was prepared and agreed with the PIC of the activity. In conclusion, the planned change process towards optimizing effective communication during handover requires an increase in the function of nursing managers, especially in the planning function. Managers must provide policies, one of which is SOP handover, and must review and revise policies to remain new and can be applied. Abstract

This study focuses on investigating the impact of word walls on students' interest and learning outcomes in the seventh grade at SMPIT Darul Qur-an Mulia Bogor. The research adopts a quantitative research method employing a pretest-posttest control group design. The population for this study comprises seventh-grade students at SMPIT Darul Qur-an Mulia Bogor, with a sample selected using a simple random sampling technique. The experimental group receives the intervention of the word wall strategy, while the control group does not receive any form of treatment or intervention. A pretest is conducted to assess the students' initial vocabulary comprehension. The Word Wall strategy is implemented in two cycles, each comprising three meetings and a post-test. The findings reveal that the Word Wall strategy positively influences students' interest and learning outcomes, as evidenced by improved scores, increased success rates, and enhanced vocabulary mastery. The implementation of word walls creates an engaging learning environment that enhances students' interest and motivation, leading to improved academic performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the quality of nursing services before and after orientation with the preceptorship and mix staffing methods at Pasar Minggu South Jakarta Hospital 2018. This research method is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental research type with pre and post with control group design. The results showed that statistically there were differences between the quality of nursing services before and after the intervention intervention of the preceptorship and mix staffing methods (p <0.05). The analysis also showed that there were differences in the quality of nursing services in the control group from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th observations (p <0.05). The conclusion of this research is the orientation of the preceptorship and mix staffing methods is very potential in improving the quality of nursing services in hospitals. Abstract

This study aims to determine Rebozo Shake The Apples (RSTA) effectiveness and Rebozo Sifting While Lying Down (RSWLD) on the intensity of pain during the first stage of the active phase and the duration of labor in multigravida mothers. This research method is a quasi-experiment with two group pre and post design. This study indicates that there is a difference in the mean intensity of pain in the first stage of active labor in multigravida mothers before and after giving RSTA & RSWLD (p-value = 0.007). Whereas in the length of work, there was no significant difference in the average size of labor between the RSTA and RSWLD technique interventions (p-value = 0.351), and the effectiveness of the two Rebozo techniques had the same variant, meaning they were equally effective in diverting labor pain during the active phase and duration of delivery (p-value = 0.118). In conclusion, they are giving RSTA, and RSWLD can delay labor pain intensity during the first stage of the active phase and the duration of labor in multigravida mothers. Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that play a role in PCC implementation on indicators of hospital service quality (patient safety) based on moderate work motivation. Research method This research uses an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The results of this study accepted three hypotheses, including the relationship between PCC implementation and patient safety and two indirect effects, namely the role of PCC implementation on patient safety through work motivation and one of the factors of PCC implementation (Measurement of systems and responses) to patient safety. In conclusion, work motivation related to the form of appreciation or reward is the indicator with the most significant value that has a positive effect on the implementation of patient safety if it is supported by the support of factors that play a role in the performance of PCC in the Bhayangkara General Hospital TK IR Said Sukanto, East Jakarta as one of the hospitals. military Keywords: PCC Implementation, Work Motivation, Patient Safety

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Alexander technique on the comfort level of pregnant women in the third trimester. This research uses a quasi-experimental design approach with a pretest-posttest design with a control group design. The paired sample t-test analysis results showed that there was a difference in the average level of comfort in the intervention group before and after being given the intervention with a p-value of 0.000. In the control group, a p-value of 0.282 was obtained. This indicates that there is no difference in the level of comfort before and after. The results of the GLM-RM test showed that the greenhouse-geisser (Sig) value was 0.000 < 0.005, and the most significant partial eta square value was in the 7th measurement (0.454). In conclusion, the alexander technique can increase comfort in third-trimester pregnant women. Keywords: Third-Trimester Pregnant Women, Comfort, Alexander Technique
