Abstract

 AbstrakSelama pembelajaran jarak jauh anak perlu pendampingan dari orang tua atau orang terdekatnya agar anak termotivasi dan semangat dalam belajar. Peran orang tua menjadi salah satu peran yang sangat penting ketika mendampingi anak belajar karena ketika belajar orang tua dapat melihat kendala yang dialami oleh anak dan perkembangan yang dialami oleh anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar orang tua memahami dan melaksanakan perannya dalam mendampingi anak, agar orang tua mengetahui kendala yang dialami oleh anak saat mendampingi belajar dirumah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner atau angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Virgo Maria 1 Ambarawa dan subjek penelitian adalah orang tua TK Virgo. Data kualitatif tersebut dianalisis kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Dalam pembelajaran daring ini peran orang tua sangat banyak antara lain sebagai orang tua di rumah, orang tua berperan sebagai pendidik, pembimbing, motivator atau pemberi motivasi dan memberikan fasilitas untuk anak selama pembelajaran dirumah. Beberapa upaya yang dilakukan orang tua adalah mendampingi anak belajar dan mengerjakan tugas, memotivasi anak agar semangat belajar, menjelaskan kembali materi pembelajaran kepada anak menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dipahami, menyampaikan perintah terkait tugas yang akan dikerjakan agar anak dapat mengerjakan tugas secara mandiri.Kata kunci: peran orang tua, masa pandemi, pendampingan AUD AbstractDuring distance learning, children need assistance from their parents or closest people so that children are motivated and enthusiastic about learning. The role of parents is one of the most important roles when accompanying children to learn because when learning parents can see the obstacles experienced by children and the development experienced by children. This study aims to make parents understand and carry out their role in assisting children, so that parents know the obstacles experienced by children when accompanying learning at home. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires or questionnaires, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted at Virgo Maria 1 Kindergarten Ambarawa and the research subjects were parents of Virgo Kindergarten. The qualitative data were analyzed and conclusions were drawn. In this online learning, the role of parents is very much, among others, as parents at home, parents act as educators, mentors, motivators or motivators and provide facilities for children during learning at home. Some of the efforts made by parents are assisting children in learning and doing assignments, motivating children to be enthusiastic about learning, re-explaining learning materials to children using easy-to-understand language, conveying orders related to tasks to be done so that children can do assignments independently. Keywords: pandemic period; AUD assistance; the role of parents.

Abstract

Keterampilan dasar TIK menjadi salah satu kompetensi inti dalam Standar Kompetensi Guru PAUD/TK/RA yang harus dimiliki. Kondisi saat ini banyak guru PAUD di Kota Salatiga memerlukan peningkatan keterampilan dalam penggunaan TIK, dikarenakan karena rendahnya pemahaman guru terhadap penggunaan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak seperti aplikasi-aplikasi yang dipergunakan dalam penyelenggaraan PAUD. Google Suite for Education merupakan produk Google yang berisikan alat produktivitas dan kolaboratif dengan sistem penyimpanan cloud yang diperuntukkan bagi lembaga pendidikan, maupun perseorangan termasuk guru. Kegiatan workshop daring Pengembangan Keterampilan Dasar TIK Berbasis Google Suite for Education bagi Guru PAUD di Kota Salatiga yang dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi PG PAUD Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana bekerja sama dengan mitra HIMPAUDI dan IGTKI Kota Salatiga menunjukkan adanya pengembangan keterampilan dasar TIK yang ditunjukkan melalui rata-rata persentase mencapai 91,42% untuk aspek pemahaman konseptual, serta persentase sebesar 86,28% untuk aspek keterampilan praktik mandiri menggunakan fitur Google Suite for Education. Hal ini berarti bahwa workshop daring yang diselenggarakan mampu mengembangkan keterampilan dasar TIK bagi guru PAUD di Kota Salatiga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi kendala kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak di sekolah dan Upaya yang telah di lakukan sekolah dalam memfasilitasi keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak di KB TK Satria Tunas Bangsa  jln. Hasanudin no.3b, mangunsari, kec. Sidomukti, Salatiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan analisis data deskriptif. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Faktor yang menjadi kendala kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak di sekolah KB TK Satria Tunas Bangsa yaitu faktor status sosial yaitu pekerjaan orang tua, faktor  dari orang tua itu sendiri yaitu pengetahuan orang tua tentang pentingnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak disekolah masih kurang, faktor model peran orang tua yaitu peran keterlibatan dan tanggung jawab orang tua di sekolah selalu di wakilkan satu pihak saja, faktor anak. (2) upaya yang  dilakukan pihak sekolah dalam memfasilitasi keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak di sekolah yang tertuang dalam Manajemen Keterlibatan Orang Tua melalui beberapa program kegiatan sekolah yaitu partisipasi pada program kegiatan sekolah, pengambilan keputusan, pembelajaran di rumah dan kegiatan sukarelawan.

Abstract

The development of child motor skill as a part of importance things in golden age stage, so they need stimulation for moving and it is used to do many activities in their daily life. The aim of this research is to stimulate the development motoric early child through traditional game from central “gobag sodor” the method of this research is descriptive qualitative, that described the datas in detail and systematically and also based on the real fact in the students of early child education lab school UKSW. The resource datas is from articles, journals and text books, the primer datas are from observation the students and questioners to the teachers and parents, the result of this research, the traditional game gobag sodor that plays in many times to early child can improve the motoric skill very well. And the students look more flexible gross in their moving, their speed balance and the aqility of students in playing gobag sodor.

Abstract

Purpose – The welfare of teachers as educators must be considered, for example, by providing professional allowances on time, because if they are late, it will hamper teachers' performance. In addition, teacher performance is deficient due to the lack of workshops and the assumption that the teaching profession is only limited to earning income. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of professional allowances and teacher professionalism on teachers at the level of early childhood education.Design/methods/approach – This study uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Sampling in this study uses a saturated sample technique, which means that all populations are used as respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The questionnaires were distributed to all early childhood education teachers in Bergas District, Semarang Regency, who received professional allowances to be filled out by respondents. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis.Findings – The results of the t-test show that the regression coefficient of the professional allowance variable is 0.621, with a significance of 0.001. it means that partially the professional allowance has a positive effect on teacher performance. Then, the variable of teacher professionalism has a regression coefficient of 0.795 with a significance value of 0.000 which means that partially teacher professionalism has a positive effect on teacher performance. Meanwhile, the results of the F-test show that the F value is 20,130 and is significant at 0.000. It means that professional allowances and teacher professionalism can simultaneously affect teacher performance.Research implications/limitations – This research is limited to two independent variables, and the research location is only in one area. Future research is expected to explore more deeply the factors that can affect the performance of Early Childhood Education Programs teachers with a broader research location. Practical implications – This research is expected to provide input to early childhood education teachers, school institutions, and education offices related to teacher performance, especially in Bergas District, Semarang Regency. The implication that needs to be applied to keep teacher performance high and optimal is to pay attention to the professional allowances given to teachers and teacher professionalism.Originality/value – This study adds teacher professionalism as one of the factors that can affect teacher performance. This research also makes Early Childhood Education Programs teachers research respondents. Paper type Research paper

Abstract

Pelatihan dasar karate untuk anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Kristen 1 Satya Wacana Salatiga mendukung pertumbuhan fisik, mental, dan sosia. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), dengan hasil respon baik para peserta yang mendapatkan manfaat latohan serta dapat mempraktikkan hasil latihan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Abstrack This research aims to increase the independence of children aged 3–4 years at the Shabat Hodu Lah Yahweh Kopeng school, Semarang Regency. found several behaviors that are not in accordance with the child's independence, namely: a). The child is unable to take off his shoes and does not put them on the shoe rack, b). Disposing of trash in the wrong place. c). Children cannot clean up their own toys. d). Children still depend on their parents. f). The method used is class action research method (Classroom Action Research). The researcher used a qualitative description method, the results of cycles I to II, the researcher used data trigulation - data collected obtained from researchers and peer teachers. The conclusion based on the results of the recapitulation of aspects in the habituation method can be seen that the activity aspects are developing well, so that parents and teachers can work together in increasing children's independence. Abstract

Parental parenting styles play a very important role in children's lives because the application of parental parenting styles to children will have an impact on the child's development in behaving in the social environment around him. For this reason, it is necessary to choose the right parenting style in educating, especially within the family environment. However, in an era like this, it is rare to find parents who care about children's development, even though children have more time at home with their parents, this is due to a lack of communication between parents and children, there is no time between parents and children to gather together, parents spend more time to work, lack of control and supervision from parents, parents get children used to playing with cellphones, parents pay less attention to children in learning so children don't know numbers and alphabets, knowledge factors about parenting patterns that parents don't understand. This research aims to find out whether parental parenting patterns can influence the development of early childhood children aged 4-5 years at PGRI Kokroman Kindergarten, What is the impact of parental parenting patterns on the development of early childhood children 4-5 years old at PGRI Kokroman Kindergarten, How do parents care for children aged 4-5 years in daily life. This research involved parents, children, older siblings. The method used in this research is a qualitative method and a descriptive approach. Interviews, observation and documentation are all used in data collection methods.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a problem related to children with limited vocabulary skills, so it requires the use of media to improve children's vocabulary skills in speaking. This study aims to answer the problems (1) How can the results of the learning process using cardbox media improve the vocabulary skills of children aged 3-4 years ?. This article is discussed through Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out through two cycles, with each stage consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection stages. This research data obtained through observation and documentation. The subjects of this study were PAUD children in Daudolu Village, East Nusa Tenggara, totaling 5 children. This research was conducted in January – April 2021. The results showed that cardbox media conducted in two cycles was proven to improve the vocabulary skills of children aged 3-4 years at PAUD Maranatha school. This can be seen from the improvement in every aspect of the research. In the first cycle, there was one meeting and the second cycle was carried out in one meeting. The result of children's vocabulary skills in the pre-cycle was 45%, increased in cycle 1 to 50% and increased in cycle 2 90%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the vocabulary skills of children aged 3-4 years from stage to stage can be increased using cardbox media.

Abstract

Social contribution community service activities are the culmination of a series of Nusantara Module, developed by the community service team, consisting of lecturers of S1 PG PAUD Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. One of the MBKM programs organized by S1 PG PAUD UKSW in the even semester of 2023/2024 is Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM). PMM is a student exchange program attended by 10 exchange students from Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya who attended lectures at UKSW. The Nusantara Module develops activities to strengthen diversity which are arranged in a series of diversity activities, inspiration activities, reflection activities to social contributions to the community entitled the Nusantara Module Talk Show Series and Social Contributions to the Community. Talk Show Nusantara Module has 3 series, namely: Series 1: “Culture as Identity”; Series 2: “Integrity and Persistence of the Educator” and Series 3: “Challenges and Opportunities of Religious Diversity”. The series ended with social contribution activities to the community, namely Training on Developmental Detection and Socialization of Home Inventory to Parents. Social contribution activities are carried out to 6 (six) families from various religious, ethnic, racial and tribal backgrounds that embody the objectives of the archipelago module. The entire series of activities had a good impact on each participant involved, both exchange students and the community with the level of usefulness shown by the Likert Scale with the results of Good at a percentage of 22.4% and Very Good at a percentage of 77.6%.
