Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam melalui penerapan Listening Team kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Sungai Angek. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa diantaranya siswa kurang berinisiatif untuk bertanya, kurang menyimak pelajaran yang disampaikan guru dan hanya beberapa orang siswa yang aktif dalam belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah satu orang guru dan 24 orang siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Sungai Angek. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah Listening Team dan aktivitas belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan analisis deskriptif dengan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan bahawa penerapan Listening Team dapat meningktakan aktivitas belajar siswa. Hal ini diketahui sebelum dilakukan tindakan diperoleh presentase aktivitas belajar siswa 57,11% atau berada pada pada kategori kurang tinggi. Kemudian setelah penerapan Listening Team pada siklus I pertemuan pertama hanya mencapai 60,52% atau berada pada kategori cukup tinggi, pada pertemuan kedua mencapai 67,11% atau berada pada kategori cukup tinggi. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama aktivitas belajar siswa menjadi meningkat yaitu 73,26% atau berada pada kategori cukup tinggi pada pertemuan kedua mencapai 82,81% atau berada pada kategori tinggi. Artinya sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Listening Team dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaranm ilmu pengetahuan alam kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Sungai Angek.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low listening skills of students in Indonesian language subjects. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of students' listening skills in Indonesian language learning through the application of the Cooperative Script model. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). This research improves and enhances the quality of the learning process and outcomes. The subjects of the study were 28 second-grade students of SDN 25 Koto Panjang, Padang City, researchers as practitioners, 2 observers. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results of the study showed that students' listening skills increased in each cycle. Seen from the assessment of the Module cycle I with an average value of 82% (B) cycle II with a value of 95% (A). The results of observations of the teacher aspect of cycle I with an average value of 87% (SB), cycle II with an average value of 95% (SB). The results of observations of the student aspect of cycle I with an average value of 82% (B), cycle II with an average value of 92% (SB). The results of listening skills in cycle 1 with an average pre-listening score of 76%, while listening 77%, after listening 75%, cycle II with an average pre-listening score of 82%, while listening 81%, after listening 82%. So it can be concluded that the Cooperative Script learning model can improve the listening skills of second-grade students at SDN 25 Koto Panjang, Padang City.
