Sustainability Report is the practice of disclosure, accountability and measurement of organizational (company) performance in achieving sustainable development goals to both internal and external stakeholders. On this basis, the study aims to determine the form of business responsibility that is oriented towards fulfilling public expectations of the existence of a business in the hope that the company will gain public legitimacy. This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, leverage, activity, company size on sustainability report disclosure, using panel data regression on 12 companies engaged in the mining industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and actively distributing sustainability reports and annual reports during the period from 2014 to 2018. This study uses panel data regression, the dependent variable in this study is the sustainability report as measured by the sustainability discloser index under the parameters of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The results of the study indicate that the firm size variable affects the disclosure of the sustainability report, and Liquidity Profitability, Leverage, whilst the activity has no effect on the sustainability report.

Abstract

The main objective of company management is to maximize shareholder wealth, namely increasing the company's share price, so efforts are needed to increase the company's share price through increasing company value. Various ratios can be used to evaluate a bank's ability to make capital structure decisions based on its asset structure and firm value, including Return on Equity (ROE), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Non-performing loan (NPL). This research gap is filled because no one has previously investigated the effect of this ratio on banking companies listed on the IDX between 2015 and 2019. The research method is quantitative; independent variables are ROE, LDR, CAR, company size, and non-performing loans. The dependent variable is the firm value of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2015-2019 with a population of 49 banks, purposive sampling, descriptive analysis, and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis in SPSS 25. The hypothesis proposed is that ROE, LDR, and CAR ratios have a positive effect on firm value. On the other hand, the ratio of LDR and NPL is detrimental to Firm Values. The results of the Simultaneous Test (F-Test) show an F value of 13.047 and a significance level of 0.000, meaning that the calculated F value > F table (0.05; 5; (225-5) = 2.255) and a level of <0.05 indicates that there is a simultaneous effect of ROE, LDR, CAR, firm size, and NPL to solid value. This study shows that financial ratios can be used to describe a company's ability to meet short-term obligations, especially strategic decision-makers involving investment, profitability, and capital.

The test results reveal that the asset structure, growth and company size have a positive effect on the capital structure of the Transportation sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2019 period. Meanwhile, business risk does not have a positive influence on the capital structure of transportation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. In addition, in this study, the variables of asset structure, growth, business risk were positively related to the company's performance, while the variable of company size had no positive effect on the company's performance. Furthermore, the capital structure variable has a positive effect on company performance, the capital structure variable as an intervening variable explains that capital structure has no effect in intervening between growth and company business risk on company performance. While the asset structure variable and company size on company performance with capital structure as an intervening variable explains that capital structure has a significant effect in intervening between asset structure, company size and financial performance in transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period.

Abstract

This activity analyzes internal factors in the establishment of PT ESP which aims to process Empty Palm Fruit Bunches (EFB) into biomass fuel in the form of pellets, as an alternative renewable energy. This activity explores the technical and economic feasibility of utilizing EFB waste from the palm oil industry for energy production. The use of EFB pellets has proven to be more cost efficient and provides significant environmental benefits, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions compared to the use of conventional coal. In addition, this project supports Indonesia's renewable energy targets and encourages sustainable waste management practices in the palm oil sector. This activity also raises the potential for implementing circular economy principles by converting industrial waste into valuable energy sources. Demand analysis is conducted to understand the factors that influence market demand for certain products. Market demand for renewable energy, especially pellet fuel from Empty Palm Fruit Bunches (EFB), continues to increase along with increasing awareness of the need to reduce carbon emissions and seek more sustainable energy sources. Recommendations include optimizing the supply chain and developing pellet production technology to increase efficiency and ensure the long-term sustainability of this project.

Abstract

PT Ladang Garam Nasional (PT LGN) aims to be a pioneer in the caustic soda salt industry in Indonesia by utilizing modern technology to meet the needs of the national chemical industry. This project is driven by Indonesia's dependence on industrial salt imports, especially for the chemical sector, which reaches more than 3 million tons per year. With the establishment of a factory in Tegal, Central Java, PT LGN will produce high-quality salt with a NaCl content of ≥99% through Fluidized Bed Dryer (FBD) technology and apply the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The global industrial salt market is projected to grow by 2.4% per year. PT LGN takes advantage of this opportunity by offering products that meet the specific needs of the caustic soda industry. The results of the study show that the adoption of technology in the production and distribution process can increase the added value of products and reduce operational risks significantly. Marketing strategies that focus on product diversification and market penetration have also proven effective in expanding consumer reach. This study contributes to the development of a sustainable business model in the industrial salt processing sector.

Abstract

The problem faced in this study is the low capacity of financial planning in the utilization of coconut shells as a renewable alternative fuel in Riau Province, which hinders the optimization of resources and sustainable economic development. The purpose of this study is to improve the capacity of financial planning of partners in managing the utilization of coconut shells so that they can support the production of environmentally friendly alternative fuels. The methods used include training and technical assistance to partners related to financial planning, resource management, and periodic evaluation of program implementation. The results of the study showed the creation of new job positions and workforce involvement, as well as significant contributions to reducing carbon emissions and local economic growth. The impact of this program is an increase in the capacity of financial planning of partners, an increase in the economic welfare of the community through job creation, and the formation of strong synergy between the government, private sector, and local communities to support the sustainability of the program. Supply chain optimization and production quality improvement need to be continuously carried out to increase product efficiency and competitiveness. In addition, training and capacity building programs must be expanded so that more partners and communities can be involved and feel the benefits. Periodic monitoring and evaluation also need to be implemented to ensure target achievement and continuous improvement.
