Abstract

Abstrak Isu kontemporer yang sedang berkembang saat ini di dalam desain arsitektur salah satunya adalah Sustainable Design. Bangunan umumnya dirancang dengan menggunakan pendekatan desain yang berkelanjutan. Cihampelas Walk merupakan salah satu pusat perbelanjaan di Kota Bandung yang menerapkan prinsip Sustainable Design. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari kaitan antara bentuk dan tata massa bangunan Cihampelas Walk terhadap kenyamanan termal di lingkungan Cihampelas Walk. Kenyamanan termal dipengaruhi oleh orientasi matahari, angin, bentuk bangunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan software Ecotect dan Sketch Up. Unit penelitian yang dikaji adalah tata massa bangunan terhadap intensitas cahaya, bayangan jatuh, dan subtraktif aditif bangunan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah bahwa desain tata massa bangunan Cihampelas Walk memiliki konsep kenyamanan termal yang cukup tinggi. Dari kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan desain arsitektur yang berkelanjutan. Buildings in general are designed using this method to reduce the impact to the environment as well as to be more efficient in energy use. Cihampelas Walk is one of commercial buildings in Bandung that using the Sustainable Design approach. The research is aimed to study the form and building massing design of Cihampelas Walk and its influence to the thermal comfort. The thermal comfort is achieved through better design by considering the building orientation to the sun light, wind, and building massing. The research is using qualitative descriptive analysis and utilizing the Ecotect and Sketch Up software. The research units are the building massing to the light intensity, resulted shadow, and building’s additive and substractive. The research result is through building massing adaptation to the sun and wind orientation, substractive, and additive, the use of building energy could be more efficient and could also create a thermally comfort environment. Abstract

This decade is developed a maximal utilization of products until there are no leftovers, known as the circular economy. The concept explained that organics waste should be used to produce a good product like eco-enzyme. Eco-enzyme is a fermentation product that has a lot of benefits for agriculture till personal sanitation. The benefit of circular economy through eco-enzyme application must be promoted and disseminated. The workshop that targeted teenagers provided long-term effects for applying the circular economy concept. The empowerment event aims to disseminate the circular economy concept through hand-sanitizer production from eco-enzyme, which is taken from organic waste. The object of this event was students in 10th and 11th grade from Muhammdiyah 2 High School, Surabaya. The workshop used a combination of methods between lecturing and demonstration. This workshop was assessed by 5 indicators, i.e., workshop theme, competencies of lecturer, communication effectiveness, workshop duration, and availability of visual aid. Data was collected by the questioner at the end of the workshop. The result showed that 4 of 5 indicators provided good responses. Indicators of workshop duration need to evaluate for the next event. The workshop succeeded in providing knowledge about how to make hand sanitizer from eco-enzyme. The next event should discuss and demonstrate the production of another personal hygiene.

Abstract

Fried foods are prevalent among the public. This type of food is very cheap and can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. Other things about fried food include that it is practical in serving and can overcome hunger in a person's limited time. Fried foods are also a practical snack to serve to guests. Fried foods are generally fried using the panfrying method with sufficient oil. The result of the frying process using this method is that the level of cooking is uneven, resulting in less crispy and longer frying time. People generally use baking soda to get crispier products. Excessive use of baking soda harms health and can cause a bitter taste in fried products. This study offers a solution to overcome this problem. The study provides a solution in the form of technology: the deep fat frying method and the use of protease enzymes to improve the character of the fried food produced – application of this technology through service in a case study (Gumulan village, Jombang). Introducing this technology results in fried products (meat, shrimp, and tofu) with superior characteristics: tasty, crunchy, and attractive. By introducing this technology, it is hoped that the target community can apply it to produce products that have superior characteristics. Products with superior characteristics can become a source of income for the target community.

Abstract

Pesantren is the oldest educational institution with unique Indonesian characteristics, so that various perspectives have been studied, especially the periodization of its history. However, the study of the periodization of the history of pesantren so far has tended to be general in terms of their roles and work. Not to mention the simplicity, the manhaj system that seems to be what it is, the relationship between kyai and santri and the physical situation is simple. On this basis, this paper will examine more deeply about the role of Islamic boarding schools in the history of education in Indonesia. Based on historical-periodic analysis Through literature study, the history of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia is divided into five periods, namely: birth and development, evolution, ideological bastion, and Muslim development media. Meanwhile, his role is as an inspiration in formulating the national education system, creating educational intellectua figures and character education models.

Abstract

Jumlah populasi Satwa yang dilindungi semakin berkurang. Pemerintah melalui Balai Besar Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam (BBKSDA) melindungi satwa melalui undang-undang untuk melestarikan satwa dan mencegah kepunahan. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, BBKSDA Papua Barat mengikuti perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin maju. Penyeludupan satwa yang dilindungi di papua barat kini masih minim perhatian dari tahun ke tahun terus meningkat disebabkan banyaknya penangkapan dan perdagangan ilegal terkait satwa yang dilindungi di papua barat. Hal ini terjadi karena Keterbatasan informasi, juga tempat untuk masyarakat melakukan pelaporan yang masih melalui sms atau telephone yang akhirnya menjadi hambatan terkait kepedulian tentang satwa. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan Bahasa pemrograman Java dan database Google Sheet sebagai perangkat yang mendukung. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode extreme programming yang memilki Langkah-langkah yang tertruktur. Penelitian ini meliputi mengenali permasalahan, menghimpun informasi dan implementasi. Sistem informasi Pengaduan Satwa yang dilindungi telah berhasil dibangun dengan menggunakan dua metode pengujian. Pengujian menggunakan black box testing Fungsi dari semua fitur-fitur yang ada pada sistem berjalan dengan normal. Sedangkan menggunakan pengujian Usability Testing atau dikenal dengan kegunaan sistem di lingkungan Masyarakat diperoleh rata-rata presentasi deng interpretasi skor 91 %. Maka denga demikian pembuatan sistem pengaduan Satwa yang dilindungi sesuai dengan yang ingin dicapai.

Abstract

Flooding in Jakarta, a lowland area traversed by several rivers, has become a recurring challenge due to increased development, business activities, and land-use changes. This study aims to calculate the design flood discharge for various return periods and analyze the impact of land-use changes on flooding in the Krukut River Basin. The analysis utilized ArcGIS for land-use changes and EPA-SWMM for hydrological and hydraulic simulations. Results indicate that changes in land cover have led to an increase in flood discharge, for instance, in the 2-year return period from 106.01 m³/s (2006) to 108.25 m³/s (2017), and in the 100-year return period from 204.61 m³/s (2006) to 208.93 m³/s (2017). Mitigation efforts, such as the implementation of infiltration wells, were effective in reducing flood discharge, with EPA-SWMM simulations showing a reduction in the 100-year return period from 208.93 m³/s to 186.22 m³/s. This study recommends the implementation of infiltration wells and the enforcement of spatial planning regulations (RTRW) as conservation strategies to mitigate flood risks in the Krukut River Basin.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country where 40% of the population's livelihood is farming. Agrarian potential in Indonesia is very high because of the fertile soil. The fertile agricultural land in Indonesia is due to the country's location in an area with a tropical climate and Indonesia has many mountains. Most farmers in Indonesia still carry out the harvesting process manually, especially when threshing rice seeds from the stalks. The rice harvesting process that still uses manual methods can cause problems for farmers and also result in relatively low productivity. The process of harvesting rice using a sickle is still widely carried out because rice harvesting machines have not yet been created suitable for existing agricultural land in Indonesia, where agricultural land in Indonesia is generally narrow with undulating topographic conditions. This research aims to compare methods for developing rice harvesting machines. The method used in this research is to compare the Kansei Engineering, Quality Function Deployment, and Value Engineering methods. The results of this research indicate that the Kansei Engineering method is a suitable method for developing rice harvesting machines because the Kansei engineering method uses emotional feelings in the product development process. The Kansei engineering method can increase the level of satisfaction and interest of consumers because products are designed using the Kansei engineering method.
