Abstract

Abstract: As the modern workplace undergoes systemic shifts, the literature on career decision-making (CDM) has expanded in volume but fragmented in focus. This study synthesizes 1,872 Scopus-indexed articles from 2015 to 2025 to map the field’s intellectual landscape and emerging trajectories. Utilizing performance analysis and science mapping, we identify an exponential growth in productivity, peaking in 2025, with the United States and Itamar Gati maintaining dominant citation influence. While Social Cognitive Career Theory remains the primary bedrock, keyword co-occurrence and overlay visualizations reveal a significant paradigm shift: research is pivoting from isolated individual-psychological factors toward highly contextual, adaptive, and systemic models. Furthermore, international co-authorship patterns indicate a burgeoning diversification of global perspectives beyond Western-centric frameworks. These findings provide a strategic roadmap for scholars, highlighting the transition from "symptom-based" CDM research to "context-adaptive" modeling in an era of global labor market disruption. Abstract

Education is a right for everyone including students with special needs or also called Children with Special Needs (ABK). Teachers must guide and provide learning facilities for their students to achieve educational goals. In the learning process, students categorized as ABK require different services than non-ABK children. Educating ABK is not easy, the strength of the teacher's character is an important factor that can support teachers in dealing with ABK. Strength of character reflects virtue values which refer to positive qualities consisting of good character and are raised by individuals to deal with certain conditions, such as when experiencing difficulties. The study aimed to see an illustration of the strength of character possessed by ABK teachers in educating ABK. This study uses a qualitative approach. The sample in the study numbered two people who were willing to become research participants by collecting data using interview techniques that were conducted online and the data obtained was analyzed thematically. The results showed that the typologies possessed by ABK teachers were creativity, judgment, and teamwork. Even so, each teacher also has several different strengths.
The transition from junior high school (SMP) to senior high school (SMA) is a challenge for tenth-grade students who must adjust to a new learning environment. Academic adjustment is influenced by family function, with academic self-efficacy serving as a mediating variable between the two. This study also explores the role of socioeconomic status, as students from lower economic backgrounds often face difficulties in academic adjustment. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of acade Dinda Oktavia Pradina; Fitriani Yustikasari Lubis; Puspita Adhi Kusuma Wijayanti

Abstract

Abstract

Subjective well-being (SWB) is important for children’s development, yet emotional challenges in elementary school can reduce students’ quality of life. This study aimed to improve SWB through a Writing Thank-You Letters intervention using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. Participants were 44 fourth-grade students of SD Al-Ma’soem Bandung. PANAS-C measured SWB, and GQ-6 assessed gratitude. Data were analyzed using Repeated Measures ANOVA with Bonferroni-corrected pairwise comparisons. Results showed a significant increase in positive affect (p < 0.001), while negative affect and gratitude were not significant in the long term. However, initial trends indicated improvement, with decreased negative affect (M = 39.36 to 38.00) and increased gratitude (M = 26.64 to 27.86). This intervention can serve as a reflective activity to refresh students’ emotional states. Regular implementation is recommended to strengthen long-term SWB and gratitude.

Abstract

Social exclusion is a common experience among adolescents and can influence how they interpret and respond to social situations. However, vignette-based instruments that capture adolescents’ cognitive processes in social exclusion contexts remain limited in Indonesia. This study aimed to conduct a preliminary linguistic and contextual adaptation of a Social Information Processing (SIP)-based social exclusion vignette for Indonesian adolescents. The adaptation process involved translation, expert review, cognitive interviews, and pilot testing. The findings suggest that the adapted vignettes are generally understandable and relevant to adolescents’ experiences, and that the structure is broadly consistent with the SIP framework. However, the results also revealed important psychometric limitations, particularly the low reliability of the hostile intent dimension and the limited stability associated with using only two items per factor. Therefore, the instrument should be considered a preliminary prototype rather than a validated tool and is not yet suitable for research or practical application without further development. Future studies are needed to refine the items, expand the number of indicators per dimension, and conduct confirmatory validation with larger samples.
