Abstract

The problem that occurs at SMKN 2 Sigli is the learning process that has not used learning media in the form of application software, one of which is Matlab Simulink which can later simplify and increase the motivation of students in the classroom. This study aims to determine whether the introduction of the Matlab Simulink application can increase the learning motivation of students in class XI at SMKN 2 Sigli and to determine the response of students after the introduction of the Matlab Simulink application in class XI at SMK 2 Sigli. This type of research uses an experimental model with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students at SMK N 2 Sigli as many as 751 people. The sample in this study is class XI students, totaling 17 people, sampling using purposive sampling method. This research instrument includes observation and questionnaires. The results of observing the activeness of students using the Matlab Simulink application increased according to the criteria for the percentage of 92.85% (highly motivated). The results of the motivation of students as many as 52.54% who chose very well were included in the moderately motivated category and gave a positive response to the use of the Matlab Simulink application for class XI SMK Negeri 2 Sigli.

Abstract

ABSTRACT:This research is conducted because of the lack of creative and innovative learning models in the vocational school. However, the research aims were to analyze the effect of the team games tournament learning model on student achievement on electronic basic. The research used a quantitative method and quasi-experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used were test paper and questionnaires. Data collected in this study passed through pretest, posttest, and questionnaires. The data is processed using the t-test. The results show differences in student learning outcomes between before and after the implementation of this model. This can be seen from the average value of student learning outcomes achieved at pretest posttest (58 76). Hypothesis testing using t-test shows the results of data analysis t count t table (3,665 1.75) so that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates that the application of TGT in the basic electronics subjects proved could improve the learning outcomes of class X TITL SMKN 2 Sigli students. The results of the questionnaire present that the TGT learning model obtained a very agreeable value. It could conclude that students perceived the TGT learning model as an attractive learning process and effectively improve their motivation in learning Basic Electronics subject matter.ABSTRAK:Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kurangnya model pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif di SMK. Namun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran turnamen team games terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada dasar elektronika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan pendekatan eksperimen semu dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kertas tes dan angket. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini melalui pretest, posttest, dan angket. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model ini. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang dicapai pada saat pretest posttest (58 76). Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan hasil analisis data t hitung t tabel (3,665 1,75) sehingga hipotesis kerja (Ha) diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TGT pada mata pelajaran elektronika dasar terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TITL SMKN 2 Sigli. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT memperoleh nilai sangat setuju. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT dirasakan siswa sebagai proses pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar materi pelajaran Elektronika Dasar.

Abstract

Based on the results of interviews with the vice principal of the curriculum section at one of the Vocational High Schools (SMK) of Aceh Province, it was found that the problem faced many SMK graduates who had not worked, whether they were not absorbed by DU/DI or do not worked in accordance with the majors in the school. This situation needs further analysis to improve the quality of graduates, including educational supporting components such as school infrastructure and curriculum documents. Regarding the curriculum, it is necessary analyzing the implementation of the curriculum and reflecting on its recent implementation. This study aims to determine the relevance of the curriculum implementation to the Indonesian National Employability Standards (SKKNI). This research is kind of quantitative research with using questionnaire as the instrument. The sample involved in this study included 11 electric power installation engineering teachers consisting of 4 teachers at SMKN 2 Banda Aceh, 3 teachers at SMKN Darul Kamal Aceh Besar and 4 teachers at SMKN 2 Meulaboh. The results showed that the level of relevance of curriculum implementation at SMKN 2 Banda Aceh with SKKNI 92% was in the very relevant category, at SMKN Darul Kamal 100% (very relevant category) and SMKN 2 Meulaboh 69% (relevant category). Finally, it can be concluded that the level of curriculum implementation relevancy with SKKNI in Aceh Province as 87% (very relevant category).

Abstract

Alat peraga adalah suatu alat yang dapat diserap oleh mata dan telinga dengan tujuan membantu guru agar proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Perancangan dan pengembangan produk ini dilakukan peneliti untuk menciptakan suatu media pembelajaran terbaru yaitu alat peraga Tornis CL penentuan nilai resistor. Alat peraga ini berfungsi untuk mempermudah dalam pembacaan nilai gelang warna secara manual. Produk ini adalah produk terbaru yang dirancang dan diciptakan oleh peneliti yang berbeda dengan produk serupa lainnya. Media pembelajaran alat peraga Tornis CL sebagai penentuan nilai resistor ini layak digunakan berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi/konten, ahli media dan ahli desain, serta dilakukan revisi sesuai dengan saran/rekomendasi dari para ahli. Hasil validasi ahli materi/konten  dinyatakan sangat valid dengan jumlah skor sebesar 47 dari nilai maksimum 50 dengan persentase 94% dan  rerata skor sebesar 4,70 dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Serta  hasil validasi ahli media  dinyatakan sangat valid dengan jumlah skor sebesar 44 dengan persentase 88% dan  rerata skor sebesar 4,40 dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Dan hasil validasi ahli desain  dinyatakan valid jumlah skor sebesar 44 dengan persentase 73,33% dan  rerata skor sebesar 3,67 dengan kategori “Valid”.

Abstract

The POGIL model is a student-centered learning model with a collaborative learning type using guided inquiry that improves students' understanding of the learning process. However, the research aims to see changes in student's conceptual understanding before and after the implementation of the POGIL model. The research methodology uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental one-shot case study involving 14 students of SMKS Mahyal Ulum in the motorcycle ignition system material department with data collection carried out by tests (pre-test and post-test). The results showed that the average score for the pre-test was 42, 14 while the post-test results had an average score of 63, 57. It is proven that the POGIL learning model can increase students' understanding of learning by 33, 71%. The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test obtained a value of 0.024 > 0.05 so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the research, it could be concluded that the POGIL is believed to improve students' knowledge.

Abstract

Materi Gerbang Logika menjadi salah satu materi penting dalam mata kuliah Teknik Digital karena konsep ini digunakan dalam perancangan sistem digital dan merupakan fondasi dalam bidang Elektronika. Namun, banyak mahasiswa menghadapikesukaran dalam memahami materi ini karena bersifat abstrak. Untuk itu, media pembelajaran yang efektif diperlukan agar mahasiswa dapat memahami konsep dengan lebih efisien dan cepat yang berupa alat peraga trianer. Penelitian ini berupa rancang bangun alat peraga trainer Gerbang Logika berbasis mikrokontroler Arduino Nano Rev3 dengan metode Research and Development. Instrumen lembar validasi media dan materi untuk mengetahui kelayakan, serta lembar angket respon untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap trainer Gerbang Logika digynakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase ahli media  dan ahli materi menganggap trainer Gerbang Logika sangat layak dengan persentase 96,9% dan 97,7%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga ini dapat memudahkan mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep Gerbang Logika. Sedangkan persentase respon mahasiswa mencapai 87,6%, yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga ini juga dapat meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa terhadap materi Gerbang Logika. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan trainer Gerbang Logika dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi gerbang logika dan meningkatkan minat belajar dan juga dapat menjadi alternatif bagi dosen dalam mengajar.

Abstract

The Explicit Instruction learning model is a learning model that positions the teacher as a facilitator and organizer in the learning process. This research aims to see the effect of the explicit instruction learning model in improving student learning outcomes in the Basic Passive Electronic Components subject. This research uses a quantitative type method with an experimental approach (one group pretest-posttest design) using pre-test and post-test question sheet instruments. The research subjects consisted of 25 students of class X Electronics Engineering at SMKN 2 Banda Aceh. The research results showed that the application of the explicit instruction learning model had an effect on the learning outcomes of students at SMK N 2 Banda Aceh as evidenced by the post-test results which increased by 44 points. This shows a positive change in student learning outcomes. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the explicit instruction learning model has an effect and can improve student learning outcomes at SMK N 2 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Sistem instalasi merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting bagi sebuah bangunan. Semua instalasi listrik, termasuk keselamatan, perlindungan, dan peralatan, harus selalu diperbarui terutama pada bangunan yang berusia lebih tua. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui standar kelayakan yang ada pada bangunan tua di wilayah kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penulisan ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada 5 bangunan tua yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Aceh Besar, khususnya Kecamatan Kuta Malaka dan Kecamatan Indrapuri. Adapun hasil uji kelayakan instalasi listrik pada bangunan tua di Kabupaten Aceh Besar, dapat diketahui bahwasannya kelima bangunan yang sudah diteliti memiliki kondisi instalasi listrik yang masih layak pakai. Beberapa parameter seperti tegangan, bergainser, kabel, stop kontak dan saklar pada instalasi bangunan tua ini sesuai dengan Standar PUIL. Terdapat beberapa bangunan yang parameternya tidak sesuai dengan nilai ukur grounding. Ada 3 bangunan dengan grounding tidak sesuai dengan nilai standar PUIL, yaitu meunasah Bughu, Masjid Tuha dan rumah Pak Iswandi. Nilai ukur yang dihasilkan dari grounding melebihi standar yang ditetapkan di dalam PUIL

Abstract

Thinking is a process of mental activity experienced by someone when faced with a problem or situation that must be solved. Intuitive thinking is part of the logical aspect that develops one's ability to analyze spontaneously, quickly and precisely on a problem. In this study, the researchers aimed to determine the intuitive thinking skills of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Banda Aceh in solving basic electronics problems. Researchers used qualitative methods with descriptive type. In this research phase, the researcher used an instrument in the form of a test in the form of essay test questions. The subjects addressed in this study were students of SMK Muhammadiyah Banda Aceh, totaling 7 people including 4 people from class X and 3 people from class XI in the field of Audio Video Engineering study. The results of the study showed the intuitive thinking skills of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Banda, namely out of 7 students, 3 of them had the ability to think intuitively. The conclusion of this study is that students at SMK Muhammadiyah Banda Aceh are stated to lack the ability to think intuitively.

Abstract

According to Qanun Jinayat, caning punishment in Aceh needs to be applied in a way that is both efficient and quantifiable. Designing an electric machine-based whipping device that controls the voltage (between 100 and 150 volts) according to the device's strength is the goal of the study. Using an experimental approach, this study displays the outcomes of 10 lashes at 100 volts for 10 seconds. It just takes 4.38 seconds at 150 volts. The punishments of khalwat (10–30 lashes), khamar (40–60 lashes), and zina (100 lashes) were used to test the system. The Aceh Jinayat law's concepts of justice and welfare are used to adjust the tension to the convict's circumstances. It is anticipated that this specially made whipping machine will be the most appropriate and compassionate way to administer caning punishment in Aceh. Therefore, this design provides a quantifiable, quick, and efficient method without disregarding the humanitarian element in Aceh's application of Islamic law.
