Abstract

In the current research, the authors conduct research aimed at determining the determinants of performance among the employees in government institutions; however, they argue that employee performance cannot be attributed to factors/determinants like managerial initiative alone but the collective influence of the leadership behaviour and the institutional culture combined. The empirical study, with quantitative research design and a sample of 50 employees taken as a random sample of Perumda Tirta Mangkaluku, Palopo City, uses multiple regressions in statistically examining the correlation between participative leadership, organisational culture and performance. This result shows that there is a positive relationship between participative leadership and performance but a point must be made that this effect is significantly weaker compared to that of organisational culture. In particular, participative leadership contributes only 27.9 percent of the variance in performance yet organisational culture contributes 59.6 percent. The findings give the impression that performance is not only dependent on the managerial efforts but is inherent in the organisation itself in terms of normative architecture. Culture, unlike appearing as a peripheral variable, is utilized as a constitutive power that influences behaviour among employees. The research, therefore, highlights the importance of programming not only to leadership training or institutional process reform, but to the development of meaning systems, symbolic integration and cultural conformity that would make high performance accessible and sustainable.

Abstract

This research investigates how socio-cultural learning process influences students’ experience during and after the COVID-19 pandemic which subsequently influencing their E-Learning performance. 320 valid respondents were recruited for an online survey study. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to test the research hypotheses. This study found that socio-cultural learning has a crucial role in students’ experience. However, social-cultural Learning has a greater effect on students’ experience. Furthermore, mediator variables, students’ experience, partially mediate therelationship between socio-cultural learning and E-Learning performance. The result of the current study contributes to extend literature education field toward socio-cultural and E-Learning simultaneously. It also develops a new view into the determinants factor to influence students’ experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran krusial Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA) dalam meningkatkan akuntabilitas keuangan di tingkat desa. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, penelitian ini mencatat hasil positif dari desa-desa yang berhasil mengoptimalkan implementasi SIA. Temuan utama mencakup peningkatan transparansi, efisiensi, dan efektivitas dalam pengelolaan keuangan desa. Desa-desa yang mengadopsi SIA melaporkan pencatatan transaksi yang lebih akurat, menghasilkan laporan keuangan secara real-time, dan mempermudah pemantauan dana desa. Peningkatan transparansi laporan keuangan membuat informasi keuangan lebih mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat, meningkatkan tingkat kepercayaan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan desa. Dalam konteks ini, SIA juga terbukti efektif dalam membantu desa mengelola risiko keuangan dengan responsibilitas yang lebih cepat terhadap perubahan kondisi ekonomi. Meskipun berhasil, penelitian ini menyoroti tantangan seperti kurangnya pemahaman tentang SIA dan keterbatasan sumber daya teknis di beberapa desa. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan implementasi SIA, pendekatan yang holistik dan berkelanjutan diperlukan, termasuk pelatihan intensif, dukungan teknis berkelanjutan, dan manajemen perubahan yang efektif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman tentang bagaimana SIA dapat menjadi instrumen vital dalam meningkatkan akuntabilitas keuangan desa. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan panduan bagi desa-desa lain yang berencana mengadopsi atau meningkatkan implementasi SIA, seiring dengan visi untuk menciptakan lingkungan keuangan yang lebih transparan, efisien, dan dapat dipercaya di tingkat lokal. Abstract

This study investigates the efficacy of existing strategies in enhancing the professionalism of teachers at SMKN 1 Palopo. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the research involved a sample of 50 teachers. The analysis employed multiple linear regression to test hypotheses concerning the impact of three independent variables: training (X1), motivation (X2), and rewards (X3), on the dependent variable, professionalism (Y). The findings indicate that while training (X1) did not exhibit a significant direct effect, motivation (X2) demonstrated a positive and significant influence on professionalism. Moreover, rewards (X3) did not directly impact professionalism but showed a significant association with its enhancement. These results underscore the nuanced influences of training, motivation, and rewards on teacher professionalism, emphasizing the importance of tailored strategies in educational settings to foster continuous professional development among educators.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of work environment and work discipline on employee work performance at PT. PLN (Persero) ULTG Palopo. The research uses an explanatory and descriptive approach, with a population of 50 employees, which is also a sample through census techniques. Data was collected using a Google Form-based questionnaire with research variables including work environment and work discipline as independent variables, as well as work performance as dependent variables. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with t test (partial) and F test (simultaneous) to test the hypothesis. The results of the study show that partially, the work environment and work discipline have a positive and significant influence on employee work performance. Simultaneously, the two independent variables also have a positive and significant influence on employee work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of orientation programs, organizational culture on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Belopa. This research was conducted at PT. Belopa Pawnshop is located in Tampumia Radda, Belopa District, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. And the research time was carried out for approximately 2 months. This study uses a quantitative research method with an experimental research design with a population of 30 employees. The sample determination technique in this study used a saturated sampling method of 30 respondents, data collected through questionnaires and interviews with respondents. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis, validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, T test and F test using the help of IBM 29 SPSS. The results of the study show that the orientation program, organizational culture have a significant influence on employee performance. Employees who take part in the onboarding program, organizational culture have better performance compared to employees who do not participate in the program. This shows that an onboarding, organizational culture program can improve employee job satisfaction by helping them understand the company's goals and mission.
