Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana kemampuan membaca permulaan Bahasa Indonesia melalui metode global siswa kelas I SDN Keganteran Kecamatan Kasemen Kota Serang Banten. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Keganteran Kecamatan Kasemen Kota Serang Banten, semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2012-2013. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan model siklus dari Kemmis dan Taggart, melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini ditempuh dalam dua kali siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali tindakan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan non tes (instrumen pemantauan tindakan dan catatan lapangan). Validitas dihitung dengan menggunakan point biserial dan realibilitas dengan KR-20. Hasil yang dipeoleh adalah adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan Bahasa Indonesia melalui pendekatan kontekstual dengan metode global. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dengan metode global terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan Bahasa Indonesia. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa semakin baik jika pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual dengan metode global semakin baik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disarankan agar pendekatan kontekstual dengan metode global digunakan sebagai salah satu metode yang menjadi bahan pertimbangan guru untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SDN Drangong 1 melalui metode role playing; dan (2) mengetahui efektivitas metode pembelajaran role playing dalam meningkatkan kamampuan berbicara siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SDN Drangon 1. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari 3 siklus. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa sebelum diberikan tindakan, terlebih dahulu dilakukan prapenelitian sebagai bahan patokan dalam pembentukan kelompok dan pengolahan nilai peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Dari hasil observasi, evaluasi dan refleksi pada setiap tindakan kelas, maka dapat ditarik simpulan bahwa kemampuan berbicara pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa Kelas IV SDN Drangong 1 Kecamatan Taktakan Kota Serang dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Role Playing.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksperimen dalam rangka mengkonservasi permainan-permainan tradisiona lagar tidak punah karena tergerus oleh arus digitalisasi baik pembelajaran ataupun dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan-kebutuhan hidup orang banyak. Disamping itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana konservasi permainan ini dapat memberikan dapmak pada perkembangan keterampilan gerak lokomotor anak-anak usia dini di wilayah kecamatan Koroncong Kabupaten Pandeglang. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan untuk memahami, menguraikan dan bahkan menjelaskan fenomena sosial yang ada dengan cara menganalisis pengalaman dari individu-individu atau kelompok (misalnya masyarakat,. menganalisis interaksi dan komunikasi setiap individu atau kelompok.  menganalisis dokumen- dokumen (misalnya teks, gambar, film atau musik). dari hasil penelitian tampak bahwa pemainan tradisional khusunya permainan kucing tikus dan engklek dapat digunakan sebagai strategi pembelajaran dalam melatih perkembangan keterampilan gerak dasar lokomotor anak-anak usia dini.

Abstract

Pandeglang is one of the tourist cities that is a destination for tourists, both local and foreign tourists. In view of this, STKIP Syekh Manshur Research and Community Service Center (P3M) along with the Elementary School Education Study Program conducted research related to the development of tourist villages in developing and empowering the community. This research was conducted in a qualitative method by dividing it into three stages; data reduction, organization and interpretation of data. Data reduction was carried out to identify the raw data obtained through observation and interviews. Organizing is done to collect and unify data information obtained from the results of the initial identification (data reduction process) which is then interpreted to produce a conclusion as clearly discussed in the manuscript.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the description of teacher creativity and solutions to foster teacher creativity in increasing learning motivation at SDN Drangong 1, Takakan District, Serang City, Banten Province. The approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data obtained from direct observation and analysis of reading materials or theories. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that: (1) the creativity of teachers in developing methods, media and presentation of material, learning techniques at SDN Drangong 1 are not maximized; (2) the right form of teacher creativity can be carried out at SDN Drangong 1 namely developing the use of varied methods, appropriate media, presenting contextual material, giving praise and appreciating student work including creating creativity by learning through peers through visits between classes to find ideas just solving problems in class. The conclusion of the research is that developing creativity really helps teachers create a conducive academic environment in the learning process. High creativity for a teacher is necessary so that creativity is fully developed in all subjects. In the end students are motivated to learn. In fact, learning problems will continue and never stop, for this reason, teacher creativity continues to be developed.

Abstract

This article focuses on improving student learning outcomes in Pancasila education subjects regarding the birth of Pancasila using pop up book media in class V at SDN Sukacai 3. This research stage was carried out in 3 cycles, starting with a pre-cycle first. The results of the research showed that in the pre-cycle they only got an average score of 52.84 with a completeness presentation of 44% and in the first cycle there was a decrease to 50.68 with a completeness percentage of 36%, but in the second cycle there was an increase reaching an average score of 60 .08 with a completion percentage of 68%, and in cycle III the students' average score increased to 78.2 with a percentage of 88%. The results of classroom action research concluded that pop up book media could improve student learning outcomes regarding the event of the birth of Pancasila. The role of pop up book media can be an effective alternative in learning Pancasila education regarding the event of the birth of Pancasila for teachers.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between cognitive styles, gender, and academic performance among PGMI students, with the aim of enhancing instructional strategies. The purpose is to explore how field-independent and field-dependent cognitive styles, in conjunction with gender, influence students' academic outcomes in the Basic Social Sciences course. Employing an ex post facto research design, the study used stratified random sampling to select undergraduate students, categorized by cognitive style and gender. Cognitive styles were assessed using the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT), while academic performance was measured through students' grades in the course. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, including a two-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), were conducted to identify significant differences and interactions between the variables. The results indicate that field-independent students generally outperform their field-dependent peers in independent learning tasks, while gender differences reveal that male students prefer self-directed learning, while female students favor more structured guidance. The study concludes that incorporating differentiated teaching methods that address both cognitive styles and gendered learning preferences is essential for creating an inclusive learning environment that supports all students’ academic success. These findings offer valuable insights for educators in designing more effective and personalized learning experiences.

Abstract

This study investigates the potential long-term effects of the Think Talk Write (TTW) model on the social communication competence of primary school students. TTW, an inquiry-based learning approach emphasizing collaborative thinking, discussion, and written reflection, has shown promise in improving immediate communication skills. However, its long-term impact on social competence, encompassing active listening, effective communication strategies, and empathy, remains under-researched. This study employs a class action research design to investigate the long-term impact of Think Talk Write (TTW) on social communication competence in fifth-grade students at MI Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Two intact classes (n = 17 each) will participate: the TTW group, exposed to TTW throughout the study, and the control group, receiving standard pedagogy. Specific evaluation tools will be utilized to assess the students’ social communication competence. The findings could inform pedagogical decisions and contribute to a nuanced understanding of how active learning environments foster well-rounded individuals with strong communication skills. The study found that the TTW model had a positive impact on students' social communication competence. Specifically, students in the TTW group showed significant improvements in their ability to: Actively listen to others, Express empathy, Resolve conflict, and Collaborate effectively.

Abstract

Hasil observasi peneliti di SD Mandalawangi 3 pada 8 Mei 2024 diperoleh data secara umum siswa terlihat aktif mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran karena peran pengajar yang baru mereka temui seperti mahasiswa sebagai peneliti di sekolah tersebut ada pengaruhnya dengan hal tersebut terhadap psikologi anak dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran yang baik didalam kelas. Berbagai jenis aktifitas yang termasuk dalam psikologis anak sangat menarik serta dikaji untuk selanjutnya peniliti mengambil judul analisis peran pengajar terhadap perkembangan psikologis anak di kelas III SD Mandalawangi 3 dan mengkaji tentang gambaran psikologi anak yang mencakup kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. akibatnya tahap perkembangan pra-operasional ketika anak sudah berpikir konkret, adalah fokus dari hasil pengamatan i.ni. Fokus pertumbuhan pada pengamatan ini adalah pada tahap mesosistem, dimana terdapat interaksi antara tahap mikrosistem, seperti hubungan antara pengalaman keluarga dengan pengalaman sekolah. Dari hasil penelitian psikomotorik ini siswa mampu mengembangkan kemandiriannya seperti : menolong diri sendiri, membantu orang lain, keterampilan disekolah misal menyapu, mengepel dan juga ketrampilan saat bermain.
