Abstract

Human resources are a strategic component in the development of an organization. The development of an organization cant be separated from the role of human resources. Quality human resources are the basic capital in developing and realizing organizational goals effectively and efficiently. The quality of human resources, the central and most important point in an organization is related to the role, position and function of leadership in the organization with a leadership pattern that prioritizes professional principles and principles will easily lead the organization to grow and develop in accordance with the organization's vision and mission. In addition, leadership is an important instrument in the organization. This means that going forward or backward an organization cant be separated from the main role of leaders in influencing others and working together to achieve the goals that have been set.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze differences in conceptual understanding between students facilitated by learning modules with Contextual Teaching and Learning settings and direct learning models. This study was a quasi-experimental study using a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control groups design. . The data collected in this study are data understanding concepts with concept understanding tests. Then the concept understanding data was collected by concept understanding tests in the form of reasoned objective tests consisting of 19 items. Data on understanding concepts were analyzed descriptively using one-way analysis of variance. Research shows that understanding the concept of groups of students learning by facilitating learning modules containing Contextual Teaching and Learning is higher than the group of students who learn through direct learning models. Based on these findings it was concluded that there were differences in understanding of physics concepts between students facilitated by learning modules containing Contextual Teaching and Learning and direct learning models.

Abstract

Pola asuh orang tua terhadap anaknya mendasari penggunaan gawai. Orang tua yang menerapkan pola asuh demokratis memberikan gawai sejak dini pada anaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dan intensitas penggunaan gawai. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasi dan ex post facto. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil perhitungan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel (0,4710,179). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pola asuh demokratis dan intensitas penggunaan gawai oleh anak. Orang tua akan lebih lebih kreatif dalam mengasuh anak serta memberikan waktu pendampingan anak dalam bermain. Gawai memang dibutuhkan untuk sarana komunikasi namun perlu diatur intensitas penggunaanya.

Abstract

Bullying is the aggressive and negative behavior of a person or group of people repeatedly who abuses an imbalance of power with the aim of hurting the target (victim) mentally or physically. The problem of bullying at school is the responsibility of all parties in the school and parents of students. Bullying in schools is a major problem that must be addressed because schools should protect their students from acts of violence in any form, and become a vehicle for the formation of reason, morals and character needed to build a healthy, cultured and high-tech Indonesian society.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memaksa masyarakat dunia mendefinisikan makna hidup, tujuan pembelajaran dan hakikat kemanusiaan. Jika selama ini manusia-manusia dipaksa hidup dalam situasi serba cepat, pekerjaan tanpa henti, dan kejaran target pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam sistem kompetisi. Pandemi Covid-19 memaksa kebijakan social distancing, atau di Indonesia lebih dikenalkan sebagai physical distancing (menjaga jarak fisik) untuk meminimalisir persebaran Covid-19. Semua negara terdampak telah berupaya membuat kebijakan terbaiknya dalam menjaga kelanggengan layanan pendidkan. Indonesia juga menghadapi beberapa tantangan nyata yang harus segera dicarikan solusinya: (1) ketimpangan teknologi antara sekolah di kota besar dan daerah, (2) keterbatasan kompetensi guru dalam pemanfaatan aplikasi pembelajaran, (3) keterbatasan sumberdaya untuk pemanfaatan teknologi Pendidikan seperti internet dan kuota, (4) relasi guru-murid-orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring yang belum integral. Profesi guru merupakan profesi yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan suatu bangsa. Guru merupakan unsur dominan dalam suatu proses pendidikan, sehingga kualitas pendidikan banyak ditentukan oleh kualitas pendidik dalam menjalankan peran dan tugasnya di masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, upaya-upaya untuk terus mengembangkan profesi guru menjadi suatu syarat mutlak bagi kemajuan suatu bangsa. Meningkatnya kualitas pendidik akan mendorong pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan baik proses maupun hasilnya.Kata kunci: lembaga pendidikan, profesionalisme guru dan covid-19

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan unit sosial terkecil yang ada dalam tatanan masyarakat. Proses sosialisasi pertama kali dilakukan dalam keluarga, dimulai dengan proses belajar adaptasi dan mengikuti setiap hal yang diajarkan oleh orang-orang di dalam lingkungan keluarga. Keluarga merupakan tempat pertama kali anak mendapatkan pendidikan, baik secara langsung, maupun tidak langsung. peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan literasi anak dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk keterlibatan orangtua dapat dilihat dari: a) Penyediaaan fasilitas, yakni berupa buku yang bervariasi, tempat yang nyaman sesuai dengan criteria anak. b) Interaksi dengan anak, interaksi dalam meningkatkan literasi pada anak yakni melalui membacakan buku cerita, bermain peran, mengajak bercerita, dan bernyanyi. c) Kebiasaan orang tua, dalam hal ini orang tua menjadi contoh atau terlebih dahulu membiasakan membaca. Sehingga secara tidak langsung dapat mempengaruhi minat anak dalam kegiatan literasi.Kata kunci: literasi, keluarga, anak, buku, membaca

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see the level of effectiveness of implementing the project based teaching module on the topic of Culinary Basics. The uniqueness of this research lies in the responses of students who use the module. The module content is very interesting and varied so that it can increase student interest and stimulate creativity. Students become interested in reading because usually students only use books that are still rigid. The examples given in the module are very up to date. The method used in this research is a quasi experimental design research method with a control group and a random research sample. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively (input criticism, suggestions) and quantitative (respondent assessments in the form of numbers on the questionnaire and observation sheet provided). The data collection technique used Pretest - Posttest Control Group Design which was analyzed using analysis prerequisite tests through normality tests and inferential statistics through t-tests (independent sample T-tests) to see differences in the average group learning outcomes. The population of this class is 40 people. The samples used were 30 with random sampling. Testing the effectiveness of using project based teaching module products in increasing the creativity of Dwi Tunggal Tourism Vocational School students was carried out using a two-tailed t-test. The tcount = 2.133 while the ttable value = 2.000, this shows that tcount is greater than ttable with a significance level of 0.05. So, the creativity of Dwi Tunggal Tourism Vocational School students who take part in learning using project based teaching modules is higher than the creativity of Dwi Tunggal Tourism Vocational School students who take conventional learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of the PQ4R learning model on students' reading comprehension abilities. This research includes quantitative research, research with a meta-analysis approach, namely calculating the average with effect size. First, formulate the research problem, then proceed to explore relevant research. The research sample is 10 publications. The data analysis technique uses publication bias analysis with trim and fill methods with analysis procedures for calculating effect sizes, heterogeneity tests, forest plot analysis and publication bias analysis. The research results with rank correlation were 0.2046 with p-value (0.417) > (0.05), while the regression method was -0.4942 with p-value (0.621) > (0.05), meaning no publication bias was found.

Abstract

The home literacy environment should be used as one of the things that is prioritized in providing home facilities, therefore it will continue to support the process of child development properly, especially language development.The purpose of   this study was to determine the relationship   between the home literacy environment and parent involvement to early childhood language   skills.   In this study, the method used is the correlation method and ex post facto. The data were collected using a questionnaire and to test the hypothesis using the product-moment correlation technique. In this study, it was found that the home literacy environment variable had an effective contribution of 30.89% to early childhood language skills. The parent involvement variable has an effective contribution of 40.65% to early childhood language skills.
