Abstract

Kegiatan promosi menjadi faktor kunci dalam menarik minat siswa untuk melanjutkan studi ke jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD). Salah satu media promosi yang digunakan adalah website sekolah. Media website sekolah bermanfaat dalam memberikan informasi sekolah seperti sarana prasarana sekolah, kegiatan kegiatan sekolah, organisasi sekolah, prestasi prestasi siswa, dll. Media website dipilih sebagai studi pengabdian di SDN Ngampel 01 karena kondisi website sekolah sebelumnya tidak tidak berjalan dengan baik, sehingga jumlah siswa yang melanjutkan ke SDN Ngampel 01 berkurang. Kegiatan pengabdian diharapkan mampu mengedukasi semua pihak terutama staf dan guru dalam mengembangkan website setelah diserahkan ke pihak sekolah. Staf dan guru antusias dengan presentasi yang diberikan selama kegiatan dengan tanya jawab dalam mengembangkan website sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat berdampak pada jumlah siswa di SDN Ngampel 01 kedepannya.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the increasing need for energy are challenges as well as opportunities in community empowerment efforts, especially in rural areas. Providing targeted and applicable training on the use of digital technology and energy savings based on solar panels is a solution to overcome these problems. The training was conducted on 25 PKK mothers in the Brendil Ngawi hamlet. The results of this training showed an increase in knowledge about digital technology and solar panels by more than 50% of the total participants. It is hoped that after this training, PKK mothers will be able to apply this knowledge in their respective household lives so that they can form independent and self-sufficient families.

Abstract

Catfish farming is one of the most promising businesses. The potential of the catfish business is influenced by the paradigm shift in fish consumption. The development of catfish businesses is also experienced by catfish farmers in the Madiun Regency area of East Java. There are three phases to catfish farming: breeding, cultivation, and processing. In each phase of catfish farming, there will be potential risks and losses. Potential risks need to be assessed in risk management. The stages of risk management include risk identification, risk assessment, and risk control. The risk identification stage has 63 risk subcriteria. The results of the assessment of the risk sub-criteria showed that seven sub-criteria were categorized as high risk. Handling high-category risks formed 24 alternative strategies in the contingency plan. In addition to handling the risk, the catfish farming business was also analyzed. The results of the analysis of the catfish farming business obtained by the processing phase resulted in the highest total profit, reaching Rp 31,950,000. The results of the catfish farming business analysis are expected to contribute to alternative business choices based on cost indicators.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a textile industry company whose products are wide rayon fabric. In the production period from January 2022 to April 2023, the number of fabric produced was 2,347,646 yards and defect fabric was 333,136 or 14.2%. In the production process, this value exceeds the control limit so a lot of fabric has to be reprocessed. The sigma value of the current production process is 3.172, meaning that system improvements need to reduce the number of defective products. This research aims to minimize product defects using the Six Sigma method. The Six Sigma stages in this research are the define stage to identify types of defects and it was found that there were 18 types of defects, the measure stage to determine the largest percentage of defects and calculate the sigma value, the analyze stage to find out the root cause of defects using a fishbone diagram, the improve stage to formulate proposed improvements using the 5W+1H approach, and the control stage to supervise the implementation of proposed improvements using the Poka Yoke method. The proposed improvements based on the 5W+1H method and the Poka Yoke method are cleaning machines in a row and carried out on a scheduled basis, rescheduling the number of workers per shift to reduce worker negligence, scheduling machine repairs, providing regular training to workers, and adding lighting in the room. production. After implementing this proposed improvement, it is hoped that can increase the sigma value of the production process carried out.
