Abstract

The research objective was to determine the level of teacher understanding of students in thematic subjects at MI Muhammadiyah 1 Rambeanak. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data analysis used is in accordance with Miles and Huberman's theory. Data sources consist of primary and secondary data sources. The results showed that the teacher understood the various characteristics of each student well. Teachers can find out the characteristics of students in various ways. Recognizing the character of students will help teachers to deliver students to achieve their goals. When the teacher can understand the characteristics of each student, the teacher will be able to provide the right approach and treatment, especially in the learning process, act fairly, and can solve the problems experienced by students by paying attention to their characteristics.

Abstract

Every school must use distance learning (PJJ) during the COVID-19 epidemic since face-to-face instruction will no longer be available to ensure that learning is maintained. There are challenges in its application, including limited internet connection and the use of technology for education. The research seeks to characterize the thematic learning implementation process, determine the effectiveness of the thematic learning implementation, and develop strategies to get around barriers to thematic learning implementation during the COVID 19 pandemic. The study employs a variety of mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative). The study's findings are as follows: first, because it meets the anticipated indicators, the process of adopting theme learning from planning through implementation and evaluation has gone successfully. Second, the success of thematic learning implementation through questionnaire distribution yielded 78.31 results in the good group. Thematic learning is being implemented throughout the COVID-19 epidemic successfully.

Abstract

Background: Pada Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) maupun Penilaian Akhir Tahun (PAT), setiap Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) wajib merujuk pada aturan-aturan yang ditetapkan oleh Dirjen Pendis Kementrian Agama serta Keputusan Kepala Kanwil Kementrian Agama Propinsi masing-masing dan setiap MI memiliki kewenangan menyelenggarakan secara mandiri.  Namun dalam praktiknya masih ditemui sejumlah kendala dalam penyusunan kisi-kisi dan soal baik untuk PAS dan PAT, terjadi keragaman persepsi sehingga terjadi penggunaan alat ukur yang berbeda. Tujuan kegiatan ini tersosialisasinya prosedur penyusunan kisi-kisi untuk penilaian akhir, dan tersusunnya soal-soal PAS dan PAT Metode: Mitra dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah Majlis Dikdasmen PDM Kabupaten Magelang, peserta 52 orang Guru MIM. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi: melakukan persiapan, proses pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil: Respon peserta sangat baik, selama kegiatan pelatihan berlangsung semua peserta mengikuti dari awal sampai selesai dengan aktif dan antusias. Pada sesi praktik peserta dibagi 4 kelompok, hasilnya 3 kelompok mampu melengkapi kisi-kisi dan menyusun soal dengan baik, dan satu kelompok belum menyelesaikan sampai tuntas. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam penyusunan kisi-kisi soal dan soal PAS, PAT.

Abstract

AbstrakBudaya membaca di MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo masih rendah. Ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya budaya membaca di MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi dan bagaimana hubungan sarana dan prasarana perpustakaan, kebijakan terkait pengelolaan perpustakaan, dan motivasi instrinsik siswa terhadap budaya membaca siswa di MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi dan analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi budaya membaca di MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo diantaranya dari sarana dan prasarana perpustakaan, kebijakan sekolah terkait pengelolaan perpustakaan, dan motivasi instrinsik siswa. Ketiga variabel tersebut sama-sama memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap budaya membaca yang ada di MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana perpustakaan masih kurang memadai, kebijakan sekolah terkait pengelolaan perpustakaan belum dilakukan secara maksimal, dan motivasi instrinsik siswa dalam minat membaca masih rendah. Namun, beberapa upaya telah dilakukan oleh pihak sekolah untuk memperbaiki kekurangan-kekurangan tersebut seperti melakukan pengontrolan, monitoring, dan evaluasi dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan, meningkatkan keterampilan pengurus perpustakaan, melibatkan guru dalam melaksanakan program literasi, dan mengadakan kegiatan outing class untuk meningkatkan motivasi membaca siswa,Kata kunci: budaya membaca, perpustakaan, motivasi AbstrakThe reading culture at MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo is still low. There are several factors that cause a low reading culture in MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo. This study aimed to describe the conditions and the correlation between library facilities and infrastructure, policies related to library management, and students' intrinsic motivation towards students' reading culture at MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo. This study employed a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation and the data were analyzed by using product moment correlation test. The results showed that the factors influencing the reading culture at MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo include library facilities and infrastructure, school policies related to library management, and students' intrinsic motivation. These three variables have a significant positive influence on students’ reading culture in MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo. The research findings show that library facilities and infrastructure are still inadequate, school policies related to library management have not been carried out optimally, and students' intrinsic motivation in reading is still low. However, several efforts have been made by the school to improve these deficiencies such as controlling, monitoring, and evaluating library management, improving the skills of librarians, involving teachers in implementing literacy programs, and holding outing class activities to increase students' reading motivation.Keywords: reading culture, library, motivation

Abstract

Emergency education is held when a disaster occurs and is intended for children affected by the disaster. The implementation should be child-friendly so that the child's psychological condition is not disturbed or depressed. But in reality, many are held spontaneously and are influenced by external factors. This study aims to examine the principles of emergency education that is implemented on a child-friendly basis in the implementation of the sister village system (Mitigation of the Mount Merapi eruption disaster). The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques using FGD, interviews and observations. The research subjects were 15 volunteers from the Merapi Emergency School volunteers, Al Qur'an Education Park, the Krinjing Village Disaster Risk Reduction Organization and the Village Disaster Management Institute. Meanwhile, the informants were children who were affected by the eruption of Mount Merapi from Krinjing Village, Dukun District, who lived in the Deyangan Village Refugee Command Post and the Deyangan Village Refugee Post Coordinator. The object of the research is the implementation of all the principles of emergency education for children living in the Deyangan Village Refugee Post in the implementation of the sister village system. Data analysis techniques with data collection, data presentation, data reduction, verification / drawing conclusions. The results showed that the emergency education held had implemented child-friendly principles, namely non-discrimination, activities oriented towards fulfilling the best interests of children, creating an environment that respects children's dignity and ensures holistic and integrated development, respect for children's views, good education management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena adanya pandemi covid-19 yangmengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan pada model pembelajaran, yaitupembelajaran dengan model kombinasi di dalamnya atau disebut blendedlearning. Salah satu sekolah yang menerapkan model pembelajaran ini adalah SDNegeri Pasuruhan 2 Magelang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiimplementasi, kendala, dan pendukung model pembelajaran blended learningmata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) khususnya untuk kelas 5. Informandalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, penannggung jawab kurikulum, guruPAI, wali murid, dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodependekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukandengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan datamenggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data yang digunakan adalahmodel Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi, display data (sajiandata), analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkanbahwa (1) implementasi model pembelajaran blended learning mata pelajaranPAI dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan dengan menyiapkanperangkat pembelajaran seperti program tahunan (prota), program semester(promes), silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), hingga LembarKerja Siswa (LKS). Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan yang dilakukansecara daring dan luring, dan evaluasi atau penilaian berupa penilaian sikap,pengetahuan, maupun keterampilan. (2) faktor pendukung dan penghambatimplementasi model pembelajaran blended learning mata pelajaran PAI di SDNegeri Pasuruhan 2 Magelang yaitu adanya sarana dan prasarana yangmendukung terlaksananya proses pembelajaran blended learning. Selain itu,terdapat kerjasama antara kepala sekolah, penanggung jawab kurikulum, dan guruPAI demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran di tengah situasi pandemi covid-19saat ini. Selanjutnya untuk faktor penghambatnya adalah sinyal internet yangburuk, peserta didik lebih sulit dalam memahami materi, wali murid yang tidakbisa mendampingi anaknya belajar di rumah setiap saat, keterbatasan waktu dalampembelajaran, peserta didik kurang dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan disekolah, dan seringnya keterlambatan pengumpulan tugas oleh peserta didik.

Abstract

The objectives of PPDM are: 1) Improving the community's understanding of the community-based village communication and information system in the implementation of sister villages and the follow-up phase will be carried out gradually and continuously. 2) Build an organizational or institutional structure that functions to handle disasters so that they are better planned and clear. 3) Develop technical guidelines as put-off Buffer Village in sister village implementation. 4) Promote joint activities to improve the hospitality of KRB III Village and Buffer Village. The method to be used in achieving these goals is a participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) participatory community empowerment model. The results obtained: 1) Management of Deyangan Village Disaster Management Institution is more organized and in implementing sister village implementation together with Krinjing Village has a meaningful agreement to mitigate the eruption of Mount Merapi, 2) The Village of Buffer has more adequate MCK facilities in case of displacement at any time so that problems that will arise in the health aspects of refugees will be minimized, especially in clean and healthy lifestyles, 3) Deyangan Village has more adequate internet towers to improve the quality of communication and information as a sister village and support the development of SID, 4) Villages KRB III and the Village of Buffer seek joint activities to increase friendship to hold a "Village Cultural Potential Expo (Sister Village).

Abstract

In grade 6 MIM 01 Tempuran they do not quickly understand the mastery of building space material in mathematics subjects. This happens because the 6th grade teacher still uses conventional learning methods, namely lectures, resulting in students taking a long time to understand the material and even the material taught is more than the target that should be determined. The research method used is classroom action research aimed at understanding the improvement in the actions that researchers have taken on the problems that occur. This action research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The object of the action is the 6th grade students of MI Muhammadiyah 01 Tempuran and the subject of the action is the 6th grade teacher of MI Muhammadiyah 01 Tempuran. The improvement can be seen from the results of the pre-test in cycle 1, there are still students whose scores are below 70. After the action in cycle 1 was then carried out a post-test, the results showed that the students' scores had increased but not all students with scores above 70. Then for this reason the researcher continued the action in cycle 2 with additional treatment, namely students playing a more active role in learning and taking a pre-test and the results had improved from the previous post-test. And after additional treatment is given, it can be seen again the results of student scores with a post-test with most students scoring above 70.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of grade 1 students at MI Muhammadiyah Sidorejo Bandongan Magelang by applying the GBL (Game Based Learning) method on the material of Rights and Obligations. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles through the steps of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. By using qualitative and quantitative description approaches and data collection methods including interviews, observations, pre-tests, and post-tests to measure the learning outcomes of students. The results showed that the GBL method succeeded in improving students' learning outcomes. Cycle I was carried out with an average score of 74, while in Cycle II, there was a significant increase to 89. The learning outcomes of students in cycle I showed an average pre-test score of 66 with 3 students who were complete and 7 students who were not complete, while the average score of the post-test was 74 with 4 students who were complete and 6 students who were not complete. In cycle II, the average value of the post-test increased to 89 with 9 learners who were complete and 1 learner who was not complete. These results represent the success of the application of class action in improving student learning outcomes. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik kelas 1 di MI Muhammadiyah Sidorejo Bandongan Magelang dengan menerapkan Metode GBL (Game Based Learning) pada materi Hak dan Kewajiban. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus melalui langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi kualitatif dan kuantitatif serta metode pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, pre-tes, serta post-test untuk mengukur hasil belajar dari peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode GBL berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Siklus I dilaksanakan dengan hasil perolehan nilai rata-rata sebesar 74, sedangkan pada Siklus II, terjadi sebuah peningkatan yang signifikan menjadi 89. Hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I menujukkan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 66 dengan 3 peserta didik yang tuntas dan 7 peserta didik yang belum tuntas, sementara nilai rata-rata dari post-test sebesar 74 dengan 4 peserta didik yang tuntas dan 6 peserta didik yang belum tuntas. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata post-test meningkat menjadi 89 dengan 9 peserta didik yang tuntas dan 1 peserta didik yang belum tuntas. Hasil tersebut merepesentasikan keberhasilan penerapan tindakan kelas dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.
