ABSTRAK Melakukan pendataan (pengumpulan data) seluruh populasi dinamakan sensus. Sebuah sensus tentu memerlukan waktu dan biaya yang tinggi. Untuk itu, dalam statistika seringkali dilakukan pengambilan sampel (sampling), yakni sebagian kecil dari populasi, yang dapat mewakili seluruh populasi. Analisis data dari sampel nantinya digunakan untuk menggeneralisasi seluruh populasi.Â Statistic dapat digunakan dalam penelitian kuantitatif antara lain; (1) membantu peneliti untuk menentukan sampel, sehingga peneliti dapat bekerja efisien, tetapi hasilnya sesuai dengan objek yang diteliti, (2) membantu peneliti untuk membaca data yang telah terkumpul sehingga peneliti dapat mengambil keputusan yang tepat, dan (3) membantu peneliti untuk melakukan interpretasi atas data yang terkumpul

Every child born, not only has talent and creative potential, but also has social tendency. Talent and creative and social potential are important capital to determine child future. Talent and creativity can develop optimally when they are coached intensely and professionally. Well-developed talent will be very helpful for children future. Every parent wants to have creative and sociable child but, not all parents understand how to develop their childrenâs creative and social potential. Therefore special strategy to develop creative and social potential for early childhood, i.e.: playing, storytelling, singing, creating product, imagination, exploration, experiment, grouping, imitating, cooperative playing and sharing. The characteristics of social development are often associated by the skill of cooperation, rotation, initiative/leadership, sharing, discipline and participation.

This research reveals the religious values expressed by symbols of Grebeg Sura tradition in Tambaknegara, Rawalo District, Banyumas Regency. Islamic studies on Javanese context are endless because their dynamics and uniqueness are always interesting to be studied. As a religion, Islam gives concepts and symbols of idealism, while Javanese culture, having existed for hundreds of years, has born various and specific traditions and culture. Methods used in this research are observations and interviews to competent informants. This research reveals that Islam in the Javanese context cannot be separated from local culture and traditions that have been planted tightly. Islam can be accepted by Javanese society for its flexibility. The tradition of grebeg sura in Tambaknegara, Rawalo District, Banyumas Regency is full of Javanese symbols. However, it also contains values that are relevant to Islam. In perceiving polytheistic Javanese traditions, Muslims show three different attitudes: 1) extremely reject the traditions due to their principal that believing in magical power originated from animism and dynamism is categorized into syirik and will destroy their aqidah, therefore, it is not tolerable; 2) totally accept the tradition without any selection, which is usually followed by common people who do not really understand Islam, but they get benefits of it; 3) gradually and persuasively erase the traditions through preaching Islam using local symbols.Â Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap pesan-pesan religius yang disampaikan melalui simbol-simbol tradisi Grebeg Sura di Tambaknegara Rawalo Kab. Banyumas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara dengan narasumber yang kompeten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Islam dalam konteks Jawa tidak bisa dilepaskan dari berbagai budaya dan tradisi setempat yang mengakar begitu kuat. Islam dapat diterima oleh masyarakat karena keluwesannya. Kegiatan Grebeg Sura di Â Desa Tambaknegara memang sarat akan simbol-simbol yang begitu kental dengan warna Kejawen, tetapi banyak juga nilai yang relevan dengan substansi nilai Islam. Dalam memandang tradisi Jawa yang politheistik, terdapat tiga sikap muslim; Pertama, sikap yang menolak secara ekstrem, karena berpendapat bahwa mempercayai berbagai kekuatan gaib yang bersumber pada animisme dan dinamisme merupakan perbuatan musyrik dan merusak akidah, sehingga tidak bisa ditoleransi sama sekali. Kedua, sikap yang menerima tanpa reserve, ini dari kalangan awam yang tidak begitu paham Islam, tetapi mereka mendapatkan kemanfaatan dari tradisi tersebut, ini yang banyak diikuti masyarakat. Ketiga, sikap yang menghilangkan tradisi Jawa tetapi dengan cara persuasif dan bertahap. Islam disyiarkan melalui idiom lokal.

Pendidikan mental entrepreneurship belum banyak mendapat perhatian masyarakat, meskipun kondisi objektif sebenarnya telah memaksa masyarakat melihat ini sebagai alternatif. Islam adalah agama kerja karena relevan dengan entrepreneurship ini. Islam banyak menjelaskan tentang kerja keras dan dalam sejarah umat Islam dan banyak bersentuhan dengan kegiatan berdagang. Oleh karena itu, sebenarnya Islam sangat konsen dan apresiatif terhadap aktivitas berdagang yang merupakan jiwa entrepreneurship . Hal yang penting adalah praktisi pendidikan harus memberikan ruang yang kondusif pada masyarakat agar jiwa/mental entrepreneurship dapat tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi bagian penting dalam hidupnya dan dapat menjadi pilihan dalam beraktivitas. Mengingat karakteristik dalam entrepreneurship adalah bekerja dengan sungguh-sungguh, maka di samping melakukan upaya yang bersifat kerja nyata juga tidak kalah penting, menurut logika orang beragama untuk memperhatikan hal yang bersifat non teknis; meningkatkan kualitas spiritual adalah upaya yang sangat penting dilakukan.

Language as a tool, not as a goalâ€ becomes the most basic principal of designing communicative approach in the learning of foreign language. In this way, teaching foreign language should make students not only have receptive competence but also demonstrative one. The problem that mostly comes is merely related to how to design and handle such way in the real teaching. This paper just gives an alternative perspective in applying a communicative approach in learning Arabic.

Abstract : Many issues related to the dynamics of education in Indonesia, which all it really comes down to one goal that is the great hope will be the realization of output quality education. To achieve this, various policies have been issued by either government related educator (certified), learner (model evaluation / UAN), the education process and substance of education itself (caracter building). Policies that too (although we believe well-intentioned) can not be separated from public attention, both the pros and the cons, because it is normal that people give different responses to these policies with their respective arguments. Various policies which have created over the pros and cons deserve identified and examined in depth, it takes clear thinking, rapid, precise, and accurate way to find the best solution in solving various problems that occur. Key Words: Policies, Certification, Exam.
