Abstract

Supplier performance evaluation is one of the important factors in the supply chain because it is one of the company's strategies for increasing customer satisfaction and also maintaining the company's services in meeting consumer demand. This study proposes the integration of the Analytic Network Process (ANP) and the Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) to evaluate supplier performance. The integration of the two methods is proposed to obtain more complex assessment results because the combination of the two methods considers various criteria derived from ANP and various preferences from PROMETHEE, so both methods are very good to use instead of using just ANP or PROMETHEE or other methods. ANP exhibit more complex relationships between criteria and levels in the decision hierarchy, while PROMETHEE provides decision-makers with flexible and straightforward outranking to analyze multi-criteria problems. In this study, ANP is used to weight the criteria, and PROMETHEE is used to rank suppliers in evaluating supplier performance. Integrating these two methods provides more objective and accurate results in multi-criteria decision-making. The proposed method is validated by solving an industrial case of supplier evaluation problem using the real data from the skewer industry. Finally, some useful implications for managerial decision-making are discussed.

Abstract

Intisari— PT Sarwa Jaya Bersama merupakan distributor bihun jagung yang berlokasi di Surabaya. Dalam mendistribusikan produk tersebut, retail memiliki jam buka dan tutup dan kendaraan yang digunakan memilki kapasitas yang berbeda-beda. Permasalahan rute yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah kendaraan kadang-kadang datang terlambat sehingga pengiriman harus dijadwalkan ulang. Selain itu pemilihan kendaraan yang tepat untuk mengunjungi retail akan mempengaruhi total biaya bahan bakar yang dikeluarkan. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan perusahaan, penelitian ini mengusulkan penentuan rute dengan menggunakan algoritma sequential insertion. Dengan menggunakan algoritma ini, terbentuk 3 rute dengan jarak tempuh yang lebih minimum dan kedatangan kendaraan berada pada jam buka dan tutup pada masing-masing retail. Penghematan biaya bahan bakar dengan rute usulan sebesar 45,31% atau sejumlah Rp 254.720. Abstract— PT Sarwa Jaya Bersama is a distributor of corn vermicelli located in Surabaya. In distributing these products, retailers have opening and closing hours and the vehicles used have different capacities. The route problem faced by the company is that vehicles sometimes arrive late so deliveries must be rescheduled. In addition, the selection of the right vehicle to visit the retail will affect the total fuel costs incurred. To solve the company's problems, this research proposes determining the route by using sequential insertion algorithm. By using this algorithm, 3 routes are formed with a minimum mileage and vehicle arrivals are at the opening and closing hours of each retail. The fuel cost savings with the proposed route is 45.31% or Rp 254,720.

Abstract

CV. Aneka Grafika merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang percetakan box. Berdasarkan hasil survey lapangan terdapat beberapa waste pada perusahaan tersebut diantaranya defect pada setiap tahapan proses, penumpukan produk setengah jadi di area kerja dan waktu perpindahan material yang lama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meminimasi waste yang terjadi di lantai produksi CV. Aneka Grafika dengan menerapkan lean manufacturing. Langkah penelitian meliputi identifikasi jenis waste kritis menggunakan metode waste assessment model, pemilihan value stream mapping tool dengan VALSAT, pemetaan aktivitas dan jenis defect dengan value stream mapping tool terpilih untuk menentukan detailed waste, identifikasi penyebab dari detailed waste menggunakan fishbone diagram, penentuan prioritas mode kegagalan dan penyebab kegagalan dengan menggunakan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, dan pemberian usulan perbaikan berdasarkan mode kegagalan yang memiliki nilai risk priority number tertinggi. Hasil dari menggunakan waste assessment model didapatkan bahwa jenis waste kritis adalah adalah defect (18,02%), transportation (16,14%), dan unnecessary motion (15,06%) Beberapa usulan perbaikan yang direkomendasikan ke perusahaan untuk meminimasi waste adalah: penetapan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) pada proses kontrol mesin cetak, relayout lantai produksi, dan pemasangan visual display.

Abstract

Intisari— Risiko yang terjadi pada proses supply chain management dapat mengakibatkan terganggunya proses pengolahan bahan baku menjadi barang jadi yang dapat merugikan perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pabrik AMDK yang berada di NTB dikarenakan sering terjadinya permasalahan terkait proses supply chain yang dapat mempengaruhi perusahaan. Maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui risiko prioritas dan menentukan strategi mitigasi untuk meminimasi risiko yang dapat terjadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode AHP untuk menentukan nilai severity dari risk event dan nilai occurance dari risk agent, penggunaan AHP juga dibutuhkan untuk membandingkan antara risiko yang satu dengan risiko lain yang akan dilakukan pada perbandingan berpasangan. Sedangkan house of risk untuk menentukan prioritas risiko dan prioritas strategi mitigasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh 3 risk agent prioritas dan 7 strategi mitigasi untuk menangani 3 risk agent prioritas yaitu risk agent A1, A2 dan A25 dan Strategi mitigasi prioritas SM3, SM1, SM2, SM5, SM7, SM4, dan SM 6. Abstract—The risks that occur in the supply chain management process can result in disruption of the processing of raw materials into finished goods which can harm the company. This research was conducted at an AMDK factory located in NTB due to the frequent occurrence of problems related to the supply chain process that could affect the company. So the purpose of this study is to determine priority risks and determine mitigation strategies to minimize risks that may occur. This study uses the AHP method to determine the severity value of the risk event and the occurrence value of the risk agent, the use of AHP is also needed to compare one risk to another which will be carried out in pairwise comparisons. Meanwhile, the house of risk is to determine risk priorities and mitigation strategy priorities. From the research results obtained 3 priority risk agents and 7 mitigation strategies to handle 3 priority risk agents, namely risk agents A1, A2 and A25 and priority mitigation strategies SM3, SM1, SM2, SM5, SM7, SM4, and SM 6.

Abstract

A micro-hydropower plant is a small-scale power plant that uses water as its propulsion and the prime mover is a turbine. This generating system is very appropriate to be used in rural areas because this system is easy to manufacture, produces a large amount of electrical power, and is relatively inexpensive to manufacture. Based on the above, it is necessary to design a turbine that supports this generating system, including the Cross-Flow Turbine. To design a water turbine so that there are no errors in the design (such as the cost of making it), then a design is carried out. A cross-flow turbine design is designed with a flow rate (Q) = 1.2 m3/s, head (H) = 17 m with an efficiency of 0.75. The main technical specifications from the results of the turbine design are runner diameter (D) = 510 mm, turbine shaft rotation 471 rpm with a specific speed of 61.33 rpm, water power of 200,124 kW, and producing electric power of 100.86kW.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently entering a new normal era; this requires people to adapt to the clean-living habit in accordance with health standards in order to carry out normal activities. At the same time, online transportation services have reopened for activity. The service quality provided by online ride-hailing companies (i.e., ojek) such as Gojek, Grab, and Maxim must now consider matters relating to user safety. This study proposes Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) as a method for assessing the service quality of online transportation service providers and uses the Pandemic-SERVQUAL 4.0 model. Pandemi-SERVQUAL 4.0 model adds two new criteria, namely "pandemic" and "industry 4.0". The addition of two new criteria that are more relevant to the current circumstances will increase the accuracy of the research. This study aims to propose the integration of Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (IVIF-AHP) to determine the criteria weight and Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Weighted Aggregated Sum-Product Assessment (IVIF-WASPAS) to assess the service quality of several online transportation service providers based on the obtained criteria weights. From the results of the service quality assessment using the integration of IVIF-AHP and IVIF-WASPAS, the ranking of online transportation service providers during the new normal era were Grab-car, Go-car, and Maxim-car.

Abstract

Along with the increasingly tight competition, companies are required to always be consistent in improving the quality of its products. Improvement of product quality can be achieved through minimization or even reduction of product defects. This study aims to minimize defects by providing improvement suggestions based on critical failure modes The Six Sigma approach is adopted to reduce the occurrence of product defects. The FMEA-FSWARA-FWASPAS FMEA method is integrated in the six sigma approach, especially to determine the priority of failure modes and the recommended efforts to minimize failure modes that trigger product defects. FSWARA is used to determine severity, occurrence, and detection weights as failure mode assessment criteria. Meanwhile, determination of the critical failure mode is based on the results of the evaluation using FWASPAS. This research is based on a case study in which 5 types of defects were found, namely, skewness, underfilling, leaks, broken lids, and broken boxes. The main causes lie in the human factor and the machine factor. The results showed that there were 3 critical failure modes, namely, the wrong setting of the cutter timer by the operator, the frequent change in the heater temperature, and material getting damaged

Abstract

This article investigates the integrated approach of the Simultaneous Impor­tance-Performance Analysis (SIPA) model and the modified Kano model to evaluate and prioritize service attributes for telecommunication companies in Indonesia. The study is based on the demographic profiles and usage patterns of 74 respondents. The results demonstrate that the SIPA and Kano models can provide valuable insights for identifying priority areas and effective strategies for improving service quality. Specifically, the SIPA model helps to compare competitor performance and identify important service attributes. In contrast, the modified Kano model facilitates a dynamic cycle of service attribute evaluation to inform managerial strate­gies. This article contributes by highlighting the potential of the proposed ap­proach to offer valuable insights to telecommunication companies seeking to enhance their service offerings and remain competitive in a con­stantly evolving market.

Abstract

Intisari— PT Varia Usaha Beton bergerak dalam bidang pengadaan beton dan bangunan mengalami kerusakan pada salah satu mesin Batching Plant yang mengakibatkan terjadinya pembengkakan biaya. Mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan adanya perawatan preventive yang dilakukan sebatas pemeriksaan, penggantian, dan pengelompokan komponen mesin menurut proses perbaikan dan fungsinya dengan menerapkan modularity design sebagai metodenya. Tujuannya penelitian ini yaitu menentukan perawatan interval preventif dengan melakukan pengelompokan komponen kedalam modul untuk menghasilkan total biaya perawatan yang lebih minimum. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan total biaya per tahun dengan metode modularity design per tahunnya adalah sebesar Rp 167.584.757,6 ,- sedangkan dengan metode perusahaan yang memiliki nilai sebesar Rp 220.869.687,- per tahun. Dimana biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh metode modularity design lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan total biaya perawatan pada perusahaan setiap tahunnya dengan nilai efisiensi sebesar 24,12%. Abstract— PT Varia Usaha Beton is engaged in the procurement of concrete and buildings experienced damage to one of the Batching Plant machines which resulted in cost overruns. To overcome this, preventive maintenance is needed which is limited to inspection, replacement, and grouping of machine components according to the repair process and function by applying modularity design as the method. The purpose of this study is to determine preventive maintenance intervals by grouping components into modules to produce a minimum total maintenance cost. The results of this study obtained that the total cost per year with the modularity design method per year is Rp. 167,584,757.6, - while the company method has a value of Rp. 220,869,687, - per year. Where the costs incurred by the modularity design method are smaller than the total maintenance costs at the company each year with an efficiency value of 24.12%.

Abstract

This study proposes an economic production quantity (EPQ) model that comprehensively addresses scrap items, imperfect quality items, rework processes, and shortages. The model incorporates various types of defective items, including scrap, imperfect quality, and rework able items, and implements immediate rework processes upon the completion of regular production. Shortages are treated as lost sales, enhancing the accuracy of inventory cost estimations. Numerical experiments demonstrate the opti­mal­ity of production lot sizes and underscore the impact of production and demand rate adjustments on overall inventory costs. Sensitivity analysis further elucidates the influence of imperfect quality items on inventory costs. This EPQ model offers a comprehensive approach to efficient and effective finished product inventory management by integrating consider­ations for scrap items, imperfect quality items, and rework processes. Addi­tionally, a furniture manufacturing company case is presented to illustrate the practical application of the proposed model.
