Abstract

Entrepreneurial University is a phenomenon that is considered important today by universities to increase university competitiveness in increasing excellence in aspects of teaching, research, and community service. If the university does not become an entrepreneurial university, it will hinder national development and international competitiveness. teaching universities need to create entrepreneurial universities and that is very important to achieve sustainable economic growth in a country and also being an Entrepreneurial University (EU) does not belong to any country, thus any University has the right to become an EU wherever the university is located. This study uses a mixed method and sequential explanatory desing which conducts quantitative research first by obtaining data from questionnaires distributed to respondents in the economics and business faculties and followed by qualitative methods by conducting interviews with resource persons. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the readiness of the faculty in realizing the entrepreneurial university agenda. The measuring instrument used by the OECD 2019 researchers is the measure and there are eight aspects that must be evaluated and the results of the evaluation there are 3 aspects that need focus and improvement by the faculty because they are considered to have low respondent scores in realizing the EU agenda, namely Entrepreneurship Teaching and Learning, Digital Transformation and Capability and Measuring Impact.

Abstract

Abstrak Sektor Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di bidang pakaian jadi menjadi salah satu bagian terpenting pada perekonomian di Indonesia. Sebaran dari sektor ini diakui telah banyak menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan. Persaingan ketat antar usaha menjadi bagian yang prioritas untuk dipikirkan oleh pendiri. Pelaku usaha ditantang untuk selalu melakukan inovasi produk dan layanannya, terutama selama era pandemic Covid-19. Namun, UMKM mayoritas menjalankan inovasi tanpa dilihat keefektifannya di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan validasi kanvas model bisnis yang dimiliki oleh UMKM bidang pakaian jadi di Kota Bandung agar inovasi yang dilakukan lebih efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan mix method. Pengumpulan data kualitatif menggunakan teknik wawancara semi formal serta data kuantitatif dilakukan dengan survei dan eksperimen. Fokus validasi dilakukan pada asumsi-asumsi model bisnis yang sudah diprioritaskan dengan melihat tingginya dampak dari asumsi tersebut serta tidak adanya bukti pendukung. Validasi model bisnis pengembangan produk dari usaha Wearkenya valid sepenuhnya pada blok value proposition, channels, dan revenue streams. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pakaian atasan atau bawahan berbahan corduroy diminati oleh remaja wanita dengan rentang harga 200.000 hingga 400.000; Penjualan melalui TikTok shop diminati oleh target konsumen dengan sajian konten video produk usaha Wearkenya. Alat ukur penelitian diharapkan dapat dijadikan referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya yang serupa. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini berkontribusi untuk memberikan umpan balik bagi pengembangan produk usaha Wearkenya. Kata Kunci: kanvas model bisnis, pengembangan produk, pengujian ide bisnis, validasi model bisnis.

Abstract

Abstrak Banyak orang yang awam dengan peralatan komputer dan laptop termasuk istilah-istilah teknis yang digunakan padahal komputer merupakan alat yang setiap hari digunakan oleh masyarakat tertentu dalam aktivitasnya sehari-hari. ServEasy adalah startup yang mengusung inovasi sebuah aplikasi penghubung jasa reparasi komputer dan laptop dengan pelanggan. ServEasy didirikan pada 31 Maret 2021 dan di bawah naungan program kampus merdeka belajar yakni Wrap Entrepreneurship di Bandung Techno Park Bandung, Jawa Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah apakah ada kesesuaian antara Value Map dengan Customer Profile yang dimiliki oleh Startup ServEasy, sehingga akan menghasilkan perancangan value proposition bagi ServEasy agar dapat mengetahui apa yang harus dilakukan oleh perusahaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah profil konsumen dari ServEasy, berdasarkan hal yang dilakukan konsumen dalam jasa service komputer dan laptop, hal yang mengganggu ketika menggunakan jasa service komputer dan laptop, dan hal-hal yang diharapkan konsumen dalam jasa service komputer dan laptopnya. Saran Bagi startup di bidang jasa reparasi komputer dan laptop ada pada sub product dan services untuk dilengkapi bagi nilai ideal startup di bidang jasa reparasi komputer dan laptop. Dan saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya value map dan customer profile dapat dikembangkan dengan customer segment yang berbeda dari penelitian ini Kata Kunci: Value Proposition, Value Map, Customer Profile

Abstract

CV Joint Effect Transform is an IT company that initially developed web-based applications for company profiles, GIS for roads and bridges in various provinces in Indonesia. CV Joftra experienced a failure that required it to terminate its business in 2021 due to a business model that was still unclear and the difficulty of establishing a value map and customer profile. This problem makes it a challenge that encourages to find out more about the main problems both experienced by CV Joftra and prospective customers from CV Joftra. Currently CV Joint Effect Transform is trying to develop a mobile application for MSME business consulting. The purpose of this research is to identify the customer profile of CV Joftra, to find out the value map of CV Joftra and to create a match between the Value Map and the Customer Profile on CV Joftra. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by means of in-depth interviews, observation, and secondary data collection.

Abstract

Knowledge and changes in the higher education sector are currently contributing to socio-economic developments that encourage new forms of cooperation and the economy related to the process of globalization, social dynamics, and the development of a knowledge-based economy. Entrepreneurship in higher education is a fairly new concept. EU in the sense of three things: the university itself, the members of the university (faculty) and the interaction of the university with the environment. The selection of the object is based on the fact that FEB has quite a lot of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) during 2016-2019. In this study, it aims to realize the economic and business framework of Telkom University in realizing the entrepreneurial university agenda, it must implement the EU dimension itself, there are 8 dimensions to realize the EU architecturally. This study uses a qualitative method with interview sources, namely FEB lecturers who have high positions such as deans, vice deans, and lecturers related to entrepreneurship. The results of this study prove that the Faculty of Economics and Business has many programs created by both of them but will support this EU activity, many dimensions need to be improved both from the website and information between students, lecturers and staff. Researchers provide various kinds of practical suggestions that architecture can do in improving and developing programs to support Entrepreneurial University activities.

Abstract

The internet has become a part of people's daily lives to help them fulfil their needs, such as enabling them to trade or do business utilizing e-commerce applications. Shopee is one of the most well-liked e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, boasting 93 million active users. This study used the modified UTAUT 2 model to conduct a descriptive analysis to identify the application user assessment. Subsequently, the SEM PLS analysis was conducted to identify variables influencing the continuation intention of application usage and the impact of the continuation intention on the user behavior of Shopee application users. The study also sought to ascertain the impact of age and gender on the other variables in the study model. As a result, the business can identify user preferences and factors that affect how often users use the Shopee program, enabling it to maintain its appeal in the face of strong competition. The study findings revealed that social influence, perceived security, and risk received lower ratings than other categories. In conclusion, the intention of application users to continue using it was highly influenced by performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, enabling conditions, headache incentives, habit, and perceived security and risk.

Abstract

Bandung Techno Park (BTP) at Telkom University has a crucial role in the technology-based business incubation scheme. From the recruitment process, learning goals, venture capital, commercialization with all impacted to start-ups accomplishment. These observations resulted by using qualitative research methods for one year. Referring to the concept of service systems, it was founded that business incubators in higher education can produce the holistic service system diagnostics to develop the external collaboration between university and industry. These findings are successfully set out by used the Viable System Model (VSM) from service system science approach which is divided into five main functions: (1) Operationalization, (2) Coordination, (3) Monitoring and Control, (4) Intelligence, (5) Policy. The important collaboration of the integrated service system at BTP is framed in a structured concept. Incubator operation supervision focuses on service systems that play a role in four types of management, namely: business innovation and incubation, tenant service and support, marketing, and technology solutions. The findings of the analysis with VSM relate to the role of technology-based business incubators in creating value co-creation from a service science point of view. Abstract

Microbusiness has evolved into one of the key areas for Indonesia's economic expansion, including the ready-to-wear clothing industry. The large number of ready-to-wear clothing industries has created intense competition, driving them to innovate their products. This research focuses on testing the prioritized elements of the business model. The validation of this business model is conducted to develop the product of the microbusiness Auleea.os, which operates in the ready-to-wear clothing sector. A qualitative case study research approach is used as the research strategy. Interviews and observations will be employed as data collection techniques for the study. To validate the relevant values, information obtained from interviews and observations will be analyzed through business idea testing. This analysis will be utilized to provide recommendations and further actions in the development of Auleea.os microbusiness. The main validation process will be conducted on the prioritized business model hypotheses, which are identified by their high impact and lack of supporting evidence. The research findings indicate that the new business model ideas used by Auleea.os have been validated and can meet the needs and desires of potential consumers. In subsequent similar research, this study is expected to serve as a reference guide. The findings from this analysis are used to provide input in the production of Auleea.os business products.

Abstract

Keberhasilan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Namun, banyak UMKM yang usahanya tidak dapat berlanjut di masa pandemi COVID-19 akibat dampak kebijakan pemerintah yang membatasi ruang gerak masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana usaha mikro subsektor desain produk dapat bertahan selama pandemi COVID-19. Strategi penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dan metode kualitatif. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk memahami pengalaman pemilik bisnis dalam menjalankan aktivitas bisnisnya. Sebanyak tiga narasumber dipilih berdasarkan jenis usaha di bidang desain produk yang telah berjalan selama lebih dari enam bulan. Hasil penelitian berupa transkrip wawancara yang dikodekan secara manual dan dianalisis untuk melihat sejauh mana pengusaha mikro memenuhi faktor keberhasilan berdasarkan literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh narasumber telah melaksanakan hampir semua aspek keberhasilan kecuali kinerja sosial dan lingkungan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa belum ada kesadaran untuk menjalankan bisnis dengan mempertimbangkan faktor sosial dan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai bahan evaluasi bagi para pengusaha mikro agar dapat mengembangkan usahanya secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the readiness of the Faculty of Communication and Business to support Telkom University to become an Entrepreneurial University. This research is descriptive in nature. The strategy used in this study is a case study. Based on the unit of analysis, this research was conducted in groups. Based on his involvement, this research is minimal. The research background used is non-contirived. Based on the implementation time, this research is cross-sectional. The object of this research is the Faculty of Economics and Business at Telkom University. The research subjects were the Head of the FKB Study Program, and the Dean of the FKB within Telkom University. The research implementation time is (September, 2020-January 2021). Data collection techniques used observation and interviews. The results showed that the Faculty of Communication and Business (FKB) has 3-4 courses that refer to Entrepreneurial, Entrepreneurial, StartupHup, and FKB has collaborated with external parties. All study programs at FKB have used a digital system, in terms of teaching, research and also community service (ABDIMAS), and in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era activities used an online system. The University provides funding to the faculty related to Entrepreneurial, and is consistent all study programs in FKB support their community members to take part in certified training programs on Entrepreneurial, and in the study programs themselves they often hold events for major student assignments, namely Urban Village. The study program always collaborates with external parties and on the preparation of the RPS. FKB holds an activity called EFBA where the lecturers become their supervisors, FKB students also often hold events so that their work results such as documentaries and others. And there is a mini market at FKB which can teach students directly about entrepreneurship. FKB has often participated in international and national level activities, FKB also has a program called Global Week where FKB invites guest lecturers from abroad. The Faculty of Communication and Business evaluates its programs at the end of each year.
