Abstract

There are thousands of digital-based startups in Indonesia but only few have a sustainable business development. One of the reasons is the products created by startups are not in accordance with market needs. Fashion is one of the startups that has the potential to develop in the digital age, because it is one of the second largest subsectors that contribute to the Indonesian economy. In the field of fashion, especially in customized clothing, the main obstacle experienced by business participants is low competitiveness against those who owns a branded business. This is indicated by dissatisfaction with the quality of the service, which resulted in unfaithful users. This research aims to explore the interaction between custom clothing businesses and their users so that the concerns coming from both parties can be used as the basis for creating digital-based solutions. This research focused in exploring the interaction between tailors and sewing service users using a design thinking approach. Qualitative method is used in this research and information is gathered using survey strategy. Data collection is conducted by in-depth interviews with tailors and sewing service users. Observation is also used to understand the tailor’s daily activities. The result shows that there is concern between tailors and their users. Proposed idea as a digital-based solution is project management with transparent sewing service process that can be seen by sewing service users. This research is limited to the stage of formulating digital feature ideas which can be used as the basis for designing rapid prototypes. Validation of the prototype can be conducted in the next study.

Abstract

Hydroxyapatite (HA) is a ceramic that can be used as bone implants and teeth. Hydroxyapatite can be synthesized from Calcium Oxyde (CaO) commercial reacted by ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (NH4H2PO4). The purpose of this research are to determine the effect of time and temperature on characteristic of HA synthesis by low temperature hydrothermal method as well as to determine the kinetics model of HA synthesis by using the approach of shrinking core models. There are 3 models are used, the diffusion through liquid film, diffusion through HA layer, and chemical reactions. The procedure was started with synthesized 36.9 gr NH4H2PO4 was dissolved in 600 mL of water and then added 30 gr CaO with temperature of 70°C, 80°C, 90°C and reaction time of 10 minutes - 480 minutes. The mixture was stirred rate of 300 rpm until paste formed. Then the paste was dried in the oven at temperature 120°C for 12 hours and calcined at a temperature of 900oC for 1 hour. The results of this research showed that obtained products were containing 97% HA. The best of kinetic model that described HA synthesis was model of diffusion through HA layer , with formula:Keywords: hydroxyapatite, hydrothermal, CaO, kinetics model, shrinking core.

Abstract

Onions are used fresh food of Indonesian society as a culinary spice supplement. Needs onions in Riau Province is very high, while the local onion production can not meet the needs of the community onions. Therefore do import onions from overseas such as Thailand. But in practice, many violations committed by businesses onions with committing a criminal act of smuggling onions to the province of Riau. Therefore, the active role of civil servant investigators (investigators) Institute for Agriculture Quarantine Class I Pekanbaru in terms of supervision and enforcement is needed. The purpose of this thesis, namely: First, the process of investigation of criminal smuggling of onions illegal by investigators Institute for Agriculture Quarantine Class I Pekanbaru Second, obstacles to the investigation of criminal smuggling of onions illegal by investigators Institute for Agriculture Quarantine Class I Pekanbaru Third, efforts to overcome obstacles in the investigation the crime of illegal smuggling of onions by investigators Institute for Agriculture Quarantine Class I Pekanbaru.This type of research used in writing this law is the law of sociological research that in this study the authors directly conduct research on the locations or places studied in order to give a complete picture of the issues examined. Meanwhile, the population and the sample is a whole party with regard to the issues examined in this study, the data source used, primary data, secondary data, and the data tertiary, data collection techniques in this study by observation, interview and literature studyFrom the research there are three main things that can be inferred. First, the process of investigation of criminal smuggling of illegal onions by investigators Agriculture Quarantine Center Class I Pekanbaru not run optimally because the main actors (Intelctual dader) was not found. Therefore the criminal cases of smuggling of onions illegal still a lot going on in the province of Riau, Second, barriers in conducting criminal investigations of smuggling onions illegal ie, Act Quarantine no longer relevant to the quarantine modern, factors geographic location of Riau province close to the Strait of Malacca which is a line of international trade, a factor of coordination with related parties running with no opptimal, Third, efforts made to overcome these barriers is to renew the Quarantine Act, increased coordination with relevant parties such conduct coordination meetings, etc .. Suggestions Writer, first, to the government to improve performance in the areas of quarantine, and increased coordination with the relevant parties, Second, Opening Dumai port as the inclusion of fresh food, Third, to the community to increase awareness of the law by providing reports when aware of criminal acts of illegal smuggling of onions.Keywords: Investigation - Crime - Smuggling Onions

Abstract

Covid-19 spreads rapidly and needs to be broken off the transmission chain not to become infected in humans. An effective way of staying at home is by adopting a clean and healthy lifestyle, avoiding contact with sufferers, wearing a mask if you have to be outside the house, avoiding crowds and maintaining physical distance, coughing and sneezing etiquette. This activity aims to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19 and increase small businesses' income in making masks. This activity is carried out in several places: a nursing home in West Sumatra, an orphanage in the city of Padang, a mosque in Sungayang Batu Sangkar. Furthermore, it was also carried out at RSIA Sayang Ibu and Harapan Ibunda Hospital Batu Sangkar. The method used is community empowerment in making masks. The results of the activities obtained were: making 1000 masks by empowering the tailoring business. Meanwhile, the manufacture of face shields is carried out by health workers. Furthermore, the masks were distributed to several nursing homes in West Sumatra, orphanages in the city of Padang, mosques in Sungayang Batu Sangkar. Meanwhile, the distribution of personal protective equipment in face shields and hazmat suits was handed over to RSIA Sayang Ibu and Harapan Ibunda Hospital Batu Sangkar. The distribution of personal protective equipment also carried out an educational program about Covid-19 to the public via radio, streamed on SIPP FM. Implementing this activity can be realized by carrying out practical activities by proving that students and lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine Unand can take part even under challenging conditions during this pandemic.

Abstract

Uji Salmonella-Shigella pada telur ayam yang disimpan pada suhu dan waktu yang berbeda dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif. Mikroba diidentifikasi di Komplek Lik Ulu Gadut Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Industri Balai Riset dan Standardisasi (Baristand) Industri Padang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa waktu dan suhu penyimpanan telur ayam yang berbeda tidak ada hubungannya dengan keberadaan Salmonella-Shigella.  Kata kunci: Salmonella, Shigella, mikroba, deskriptif

Abstract

Surat Keterangan (covernote) merupakan salah satu produk hukum notaris yang dibuat dan ditandatangani notaris serta memiliki kekuatan hukum karena jabatannya itu sendiri. oleh karena itu isi Surat Keterangan (covernote) harus memberikan kepastian hukum kepada pihak yang bersangkutan. Notaris dalam merumuskan isi Surat Keterangan (covernote) harus dilakukan secara saksama dan penuh ketelitian untuk menghindari terjadinya salah penafsiran yang memberikan keraguan terhadap isi Surat Keterangan (covernote) notaris. Permasalahan yang diteliti adalah peran notaris dalam pembuatan Surat Keterangan (covernote) terhadap PT Suka Bumi Maju dan tanggung jawab notaris bila Surat Keterangan (covernote) menimbulkan multitafsir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berbentuk penelitian yuridis normatif, dengan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Menurut sifatnya, tipe penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis dengan jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, dan alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumen dan bahan pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa notaris memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam mengeluarkan Surat Keterangan (covernote), karena Surat Keterangan (covernote) adalah produk notaris yang berisikan pernyataan dari notaris itu sendiri. karena itu notaris berperan penting dalam menjamin kepastian hukum terhadap pernyataannya tersebut. Notaris bertanggungjawab apabila pernyataan yang dituangkan dalam Surat Keterangan (covernote) tersebut menimbulkan kerugian terhadap berbagai pihak. notaris dalam merumuskan pernyataannya tersebut harus dilakukan dengan penuh kehati-hatian dan saksama untuk menghindari kemungkinan pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh Notaris baik yang disengaja maupun yang tidak disengaja.Kata Kunci: Notaris, Surat Keterangan (covernote), Kepastian Hukum.

Abstract

The objective of this case study is to investigate the effect of using the comment section on a Facebook group on increasing the writing ability of students at MA Pondok Pesantren Nurul Islam Seri Bandung. The study aims to determine whether utilizing the comment section can improve students' performance in writing and specifically, the material used is recount text. The participants of this study were all pupils in grade 10, with a total of 49 students. A sample of 15 students was selected through purposive sampling for the treatment class. Data was collected through a writing test consisting of 1 item and analyzed using the paired sample t-test in SPSS 22. The average pre-test score was 51.313, and the average post-test score was 85.167. The results of the data analysis showed that using the comment section on a Facebook group was significantly successful in enhancing the writing skills of students at MA Pondok Pesantren Nurul Islam Seri Bandung. Therefore, the writerss accept the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and reject the null hypothesis (Ho) as the sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 is less than the significance level (=0.05), indicating that the use of the comment column on a Facebook group was significantly beneficial in enhancing students' ability to write recount texts at MA Pondok Pesantren Nurul Islam Seri Bandung. Abstract

The Community Service Team of the Chemistry Department has worked closely with the Taman Pendidikan Qur'an (TPQ) and Rumah Tahzhul Qur'an (RTQ) Raudhatul Adzkia Jorong Dalam Koto Nagari Koto Tangah in solving problems faced by partners. The pond catfish farming business supports smooth operational costs and has been running for over a year, but these results still need to be improved for TPQ and RTQ. This activity aims to develop a catfish farming business accompanied by an aquaponic cultivation business to increase income from TPQ and RTQ. The benefit of this activity is that the partners have an Aquaponics business which is cultivating catfish and vegetable plants in the fish pond. The Community Service Team transferred knowledge to partners, especially in cultivating aquaponic plants through entrepreneurship. The activities of the Community Service Team in helping partners are a form of the Andalas University Higher Education Tri Dharma. The method applied to support the realization of this community service program was through supervision, program socialization, and implementation of activities. The result of this activity was that partners could run an aquaponics business to increase income to meet the operational costs of education and teacher salaries.

Abstract

In recent years, electric cars have become increasingly popular as an alternative to environmentally friendly vehicles in the automotive industry. These vehicles use electric power as an energy source that can mitigate the reliance on fossil fuels contribute to efforts to minimize greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. However, the presence of electric cars raises pro and con opinions from the public. the conversation about electric cars has become one of the hot on social media. Twitter is a social media microblogging that permits its users to create short messages and share them easily and quickly. These opinions require sentiment analysis. The purpose of conducting sentiment analysis is to find out how people's perceptions and opinions on electric cars are leading in a favorable or unfavorable direction. Thus, sentiment analysis can help companies marketing strategies, and better business decisions. Then the opinions will be classified based on positive and negative categories. This investigation employs the naive classifier method to generate positive and negative sentiment towards electric cars on Twitter. The accuracy results of naive bayes obtained by using a confusion matrix in this research are 77.8%, with a dataset split composition of 70%:30%.

Abstract

Kehidupan sosial merupakan hal yang penting dalam hidup manusia. Kompleksitas kehidupan menciptakan berbagai pemikiran dan cara pandang yang berbeda bagi setiap individu. Dalam mempermudah hidup, manusia membutuhkan alat transportasi. Bentor (Becak Motor) merupakan salah satu transportasi tradisional dan menjadi alternatif yang diminati penumpang. Namun, seiring perkembangan zaman, muncul transportasi online yang menawarkan berbagai kemudahan. Hal ini menimbulkan persaingan bahkan perselisihan antara pengendara bentor dengan pengendara transportasi online yang dapat disebut sebagai konflik sosial. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka pada penelitian ini membahas tentang manajemen konflik sosial antar pengendara bentor dengan pengendara transportasi online di Kota Padang, dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu konflik sosial yang terjadi di kota Padang didasari oleh rasa persaingan untuk mendapatkan pelanggan. Pengendalian konflik oleh pihak-pihak yang terlibat beserta mediator dilakukan untuk meminimalkan dampak negatif konflik dan mengubahnya menjadi peluang untuk pertumbuhan dan perbaikan. Masyarakat sekitar dan juga RT/RW di lingkungan tersebut berperan sebagai mediator. Hasil dari resolusi konflik itu sendiri yaitu pengemudi ojek online bersedia untuk menarik diri dan juga menurut untuk menerima atau mengambil orderan sejauh 3-5 meter dari lingkungan atau gerbang sekolah. Sebagian dari pengemudi bentor juga mengambil pekerjaan sampingan sebagai pengemudi ojek online untuk menambah penghasilannya.
