Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pembelajaran matematika dengan strategi pembelajaran Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transfering (REACT) berorientasi kearifan lokal terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter positif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mixed method menggunakan concurrent embedded design. Sampel penelitian yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling yaitu siswa SD Negeri 1 Baktiseraga, Bali. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan data kualitatif diperoleh melalui wawancara, lembar observasi, dan angket karakter siswa. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Data kualitatif terkait karakter siswa disajikan secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan strategi pembelajaran REACT berorientasi kearifan lokal lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil analisis data kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa karakter siswa mengalami peningkatan yang tergolong positif setelah mengikuti strategi pembelajaran REACT berorientasi kearifan lokal.The impact of Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transfering strategy orientated to local wisdom on problem-solving and characterAbstractThis study aimed to describe the impact of learning of mathematics with learning strategy of Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transfering (REACT) oriented to local wisdom on the problem-solving ability and positive character of students. This research was mixed-method research using a concurrent embedded design. The research sample determined by the random sampling technique was the sixth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 (state primary school) Baktiseraga, Bali, Indonesia. Quantitative data were obtained through tests of mathematical problem-solving ability and qualitative data were obtained through interviews, observation sheets, and student character questionnaires. Quantitative data were analyzed using t-tests at a significance level of 5%. Qualitative data related to the characters provided descriptively. The results of quantitative data analysis regarding mathematical problem-solving of students who take learning with REACT learning strategy oriented to local wisdom was higher than students who study conventional learning. The results of the qualitative data analysis oppose the increased character of students who were classified as positive after following the REACT learning strategy oriented towards local wisdom.Keywords: REACT, local wisdom, problem-solving, character

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether students' mathematical creative thinking skills that are taught with a quantum learning model based on contextual problems are better than mathematical creative thinking abilities that are taught with conventional learning. The population of the study was students of class XII MIPA SMA 2 Singaraja in the first semester of 2018/2019 academic year. The research sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique. This research was categorized as quasi-experimental research with post-test only control-group design research design. Data about the ability of students' creative thinking skills were collected through tests of students' mathematical creative thinking skills. Furthermore, the test scores of the ability to think mathematically creative were analyzed using the t-test of one tail (right tail) at a significance level of 5%. The results of the analysis show that tcount = 1.80295 while the significance level of 5% is obtained ttable = 1.66864, so H0 is rejected. This statistical value means that students' mathematical creative thinking skills that are taught with contextual problem-based quantum learning models are better than students' creative thinking abilities that are taught with conventional learning. It can be concluded that the application of learning with contextual problem-based quantum learning models provides a positive influence on students' mathematical creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui integrasi Sad Warnaning Rajaniti dalam pembelajaran matematika pada kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja dalam mendukung pemerintahan anti-korupsi. Sifat-sifat dalam Sad Warnaning Rajaniti dimodifikasi sesuai dengan nilai-nilai anti-korupsi dan pembelajaran matematika. Sehingga memperoleh indikator-indikator yang digunakan di dalam lembar observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yaitu berasal dari kerangka teori, gagasan para ahli, maupun pengalaman peneliti, dan dikembangkan untuk memperoleh kebenaran dalam bentuk dukungan data empiris lapangan. Subjek penelitian dari penelitian ini adalah guru matematika kelas XI yang terdiri dari tiga guru serta seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Siswa kelas XI tersebut terdiri dari kelas XI IA berjumlah 237orang siswa, kelas XI IS berjumlah 9 orang siswa, dan kelas XI IB berjumlah 6 orang siswa. Peneliti meneliti integrasi Sad Waraning Rajaniti dengan melihat pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh masing-masing guru pengampu di kelas. Data tersebut diperoleh dengan observasi, angket, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan, bahwa pembelajaran matematika di kelas XI IA dan XI IS telah mengintegrasikan Sad Warnaing Rajaniti dengan baik (kategori tinggi) sedangkan pembelajaran matematika yang dilaksanakan di kelas XI IB belum terintegrasi dengan baik (kategori sedang).Kata Kunci : Sad Warnaning Rajaniti, Pembelajaran Matematika, Pemerintahan Anti-korupsi. The purpose of this research was to know the integration process of Sad Warnaning The purpose of this research was to know the integration process of Sad Warnaning Rajaniti values in mathematics learning process at Eleventh Grade of SMAN 1 Singaraja in accordance with the anti-corruption. Characteristics of Sad Warnaning Rajaniti are modified in line with the values of anti-corruption that relevant with mathematics learning for acquiring indicators that use in observation sheets, questionnaire, and interview as instrument of the research. This research was based on qualitative research that using descriptive qualitative sourced from a theory design, idea of the experts and researcher’s comprehension based on experience. All approaches were developed to gain a truth in the form of on field’s empirical data. The subjects of research were mathematics teachers of Eleventh Grade which is consist of different teachers and students of Eleventh Grade of SMAN 1 Singaraja in the academic year 2013/2014. Students of Eleventh Grade consisted of 237 students from science class of eleventh grade, 9 students from social class of eleventh grade, and 6 students from language class of eleventh grade. Researcher was researching the integration of Sad Warnaning Rajaniti by involving in the learning process that conducted by each teacher in the class. That data are acquired by observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The results of research is showed that the integration of Sad Warnaing Rajaniti in science class and social class are good (high category) whereas in language class are fair (medium category).keyword : Warnaning Rajaniti, Mathematics Learning, Anti-Corruption Public.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe FSLC lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Post-test Only Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster sampling. Data kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan penalaran, berupa tes essay yang diberikan pada akhir penelitian. Skor test kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t ekor kanan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe FSLC lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Formulate-Share-Listen-Create (FSLC), Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis This research is aimed to know whether there is mathematical reasoning skills of students who learned with the Cooperative Learning Model of FSLC are higher than students who learned with conventional learning. The population in this research was all of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja in the 2013/2014 academic year. The research design used in this research is the Post-test Only Control Group Design. The selecting sample process was done by the cluster sampling technique. The data of mathematical reasoning skill collected by using mathematical reasoning skill test, formed of essay test that given at last. The score of mathematical reasoning skill test were analyzed by using right tailed t-test . Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap metode pembelajaran Scramble. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang melibatkan subjek sebanyak 32 orang siswa Kelas VII B5 SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam bentuk soal uraian dan data tanggapan siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan angket. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Scramble telah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Peningkatan tersebut terjadi karena: (1) sejak awal pembelajaran siswa sudah dilatih untuk melakukan strategi pemecahan masalah, (2) masalah yang dikerjakan oleh siswa disajikan pada kartu soal, kartu penyelesaian, dan kartu jawaban, sehingga siswa lebih fokus menyelesaiakan masalah yang diberikan, dan (3) masalah yang disajikan sebagian besar merupakan masalah sehari-hari, sehingga siswa belajar secara bermakna. Tanggapan siswa setelah diterapkan metode pembelajaran Scramble tergolong positif.Kata Kunci : metode pembelajaran Scramble, pemecahan masalah The purpose of this study were to improve students’ ability in solving the problem and to know students’ conception of Scramble lerning method. This study was classroom action research which involued 32 students in 7th grade at B5 class of SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja as the subjects. The students were in second semester of academic year 2013/2014, this research was conducted in three cycles. Data of this research were obtained by using test in the form of essay questions for the data of ability mathematics problem solving meanwhile, the data about students’ conception was collected by using questionnaire. Then the data gotten was analyzed descriplively. The result of this research showed the application of Scramble learning method had successfully increased students’ problem solving ability. The improvement happened because: (1) the students had been trained in using problem solving strategy, (2) the problem solved by the students was written on the question sheet, answering sheet, and key answer sheet, so that students focus on solving the problem given more, and (3) most of the problem given were related to daily students’ life, there fore the students gained many benefit in learning. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model cooperative script terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 dengan jumlah 387 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara acak dari 10 kelas yang memilikii kemampuan setara melalui proses pengundian. Setelah dilakukan proses pengundian diperoleh dua kelas yang menjadi sampel. Dua kelas sampel ini disetarakan melalui proses matching, kemudian diperoleh 31 pasang sampel. Data kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes uraian, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t satu ekor (ekor kanan) yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji chi kuadrat dan uji F untuk mengetahui normalitas dan homogenitas varians. Untuk uji-t satu ekor (ekor kanan) diperoleh besarnya thitung = 3,200925 sedangkan t(0.05)(62)= 2.000298. Ternyata t_hitung > t(0.05)(62) ini berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran cooperative script adalah 77,48, sementara rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional adalah 69,77. Dengan kata lain kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja yang mengikuti model pembelajaran cooperative script lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan komunikasi siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative script terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa.Kata Kunci : cooperative script, pembelajaran kooperatif, kemampuan komunikasi matematika This experimental research was aimed at knowing the effect of cooperative script learning model on mathematical communication ability. The population of this research were all seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja school year 2013/2014 that consisted of 387 students. The samples was taken by using random sampling technique. Samples were chosen randomy of 10 classes which have equal abilities trough the drawing process. After the drawing process, 2 classes were chosen as samples. The 2 classes were equaled by matching process, there were 31 pairs samples obtained. Data of students’ matemathical communication ability were collected by using essay test. The collected data was analyzed by using one-tailed-t test (right tail) after doing chi square-test and F-test to know normality and variance homogenity. The outcome of research by using one-tailed-t test (right tail) shows that value of thitung = 3,200925 and t(0.05)(62) = 2.000298. According to the results, it turn out t_hit > t(0.05)(62) it means that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The result of this research showed the average of students’ mathematical communication abilities who were taught by cooperative script learning model was 77,48, while the average of students’ mathematical communication abilities who were taught by conventional learning model was 69,77. In other words students’ mathematical communication abilities who were taught by cooperative script learning model was higher than students’ mathematical communication abilities who were taught by conventional learning model. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Brain Based Learning berbantuan Geogebra terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tejakula yang tersebar ke dalam 6 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.E sebanyak 33 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.F sebanyak 31 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling. Data penelitian ini adalah data prestasi belajar matematika yang dikumpulkan dengan tes uraian. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t satu arah dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan Brain Based Learning berbantuan Geogebra lebih tinggi daripada prestasi belajar matematika yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan Konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran pendekatan Brain Based Learning berbantuan Geogebra berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa.Kata Kunci : prestasi belajar matematika, pendekatan Brain Based Learning, pembelajaran berbantuan Geogebra, pendekatan Konvensional This research aimed to investigate the influence of approach to Brain Based Laearning with Geogebra to studensts’ mathematical achievement. This research was a quasi experiment with Post-Test Only Control Group Design. The population of this research was students of VIII class of SMP Negeri 2 Tejakula which spreaded into 6 classes. The sample of this research was students of VIII.E class consist of 33 people as an experiment class and VIII.F class consist of 31 people as a control class. The sample was taken by using random sampling technique. The data of this research was students’ mathematical achievement which was gathered by essay test. The data was analyzed by using one direction t-test with 5% significancy level. The result shows that the students’ mathematical achievement who attends the approach to Brain Based Learning with Geogebra is higher than the students’ mathematical achievement who attends the approach to conventional. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Ubud yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model Anchored Instruction lebih tinggi daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan desain penelitian post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Ubud semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 234 siswa yang terdistribusi ke dalam 6 kelas. Pengujian kesetaraan populasi, dilakukan dengan Analisis Varians (ANAVA) satu jalur atau uji F. Data yang digunakan dalam melakukan uji kesetaraan adalah nilai ulangan umum matematika siswa kelas VIII semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling dan diperoleh dua kelas yaitu kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Data prestasi belajar matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes prestasi belajar matematika. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t satu pihak (pihak kanan) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Ubud yang yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model Anchored Instruction lebih tinggi daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Anchored Instruction berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa.Kata Kunci : Anchored Instruction, Konvensional, Prestasi Belajar Matematika The aim of this research was to know whether mathematics learning achievement of students of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 3 Ubud who learned through Anchored Instruction model is higher than mathematics learning achievement of students who learned through conventional learning. This research was categorized as a quasi-experimental research with post-test only control group design. The population of this research was all of the second semester students of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 3 Ubud in the academic year of 2014/2015, consisted of 234 students which distributed into 6 classes. Analyzed of population equality was determined by one tail of Analysis of Variance (ANAVA), it was called the F test. Research sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique. Based on the random sampling, it was obtained two classes; they are class VIIIA as experiment class and class VIIIB as control class. Data of mathematics learning achievement was collected using mathematics learning achievement test. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using one tailed t-test at significance level of 5%. The results shows that mathematics learning achievement of students of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 3 Ubud who learned through Anchored Instruction model is higher than the mathematics learning achievement of students who learned through conventional learning. In other words, there is a positive effect of Anchored Instruction Model to students' mathematics learning achievement.keyword : Anchored Instruction, Conventional, Mathematics Learning Achievement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif strategi Know-Want-Learn (KWL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Post-test Only Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yaitu sebanyak 350 orang siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII J dan VII H. Siswa kelas VII J sebagai kelompok eksperimen sedangkan siswa kelas VII H sebagai kelompok kontrol, dimana masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 28 orang siswa. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang berbentuk soal uraian sebanyak lima butir. Data hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dianalisis menggunakan uji-t satu ekor. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai t_hitung = 2,503 lebih tinggi dari nilai t_tabel = 2,005. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menerapkan strategi KWL mempunyai kemampuan pemecahan masalah lebih tinggi dibandingkan daripada siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan kata lain, strategi KWL berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja.Kata Kunci : Strategi Know-Want-Learn, Pembelajaran Konvensional, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika This research was aimed to know positive effect of Know-Want-Learn (KWL) strategy on mathematical problem solving ability of seventh grade students of SMP N 5 Singaraja. The research design used in this research was Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population of this research consisted of all seventh grade students at SMP N 5 Singaraja in academic year 2014/2015 which is consist of 350 students. Samples are VII J class and VII H class, where each class consist of 28 students. Samples were selected using cluster sampling technique. Data of students’ mathematical problem solving ability were collected through mathematical problem solving test consisting of five items. The data of students’ mathematical problem solving ability were analysed by using one-tailed t-test. The results showed that t_observation = 2,503 greater than t_table = 2,005. So it might be concluded that the students who were learned through KWL strategy had mathematical problem solving ability higher than those who learned through process. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Pair Checks berbantuan Kartu Soal dengan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional. Hasil belajar yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang menggunakan rancangan penelitian Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII Non Unggulan SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 510 siswa yang tersebar ke dalam 13 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah sedangkan data motivasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket motivasi belajar kepada siswa pada masing-masing kelas sampel. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji Multiple Analysis Of Varians (MANOVA). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan motivasi belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Pair Checks berbantuan kartu soal dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan motivasi belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Pair Checks berbantuan kartu soal berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Pair Checks, kartu soal, hasil belajar matematika The objective of the research is to investigate there are difference or not on student learning outcomes whose studied with Pair Checks learning model combined with problems card than student learning outcomes whose studied with conventional learning model. The student learning outcomes are defined on this research is problem solving ability and learning motivation. This research is belongs to quasi experiment which used post-test only control group design. The population was all students on eighth-regular grade of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja in 2014/2015 academic year as many as 510 students who were distributed into 13 calsses. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. The data of problem solving ability were collected by problem solving test type. In the other hand, the data of learning motivation were collected by questionnaires which were distributed for the each students. Both data were analyzed by using Multiple Analysis Of Varians (MANOVA). Based on the result of the research, showed that there are significant difference on student problem solving abilitiy and learning motivation whose studied with Pair Checks learning model combined with problems card than the student problem solving abilitiy and learning motivation whose studied with conventional learning model. On the last, this research concluded that the Pair Checks learning model combined with problems card give a positive influence on student learning outcomeskeyword : Pair Checks learning model, problems card, student learning outcomes
