Abstract

The rapid growth of digital transformation in public institutions has underscored the urgency of developing effective and user-friendly digital archiving systems. In Indonesia, many government agencies, including the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BKAD) of Kapuas Regency, still face inefficiencies in manual document management, with retrieval times averaging 15–20 minutes per file and high risks of data loss. This study aims to design and evaluate a web-based digital archive system that integrates information systems engineering with mathematical usability assessment, thereby addressing both functional and experiential challenges. The research employed the Design Thinking framework, progressing through empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing stages. Prototypes were developed using high-fidelity design tools, while usability evaluations combined subjective and objective measures through the System Usability Scale (SUS), Mission Usability Score (MIUS), and Maze Usability Score (MAUS). The findings demonstrate that the proposed system reduced retrieval times by 90 percent (from 20 minutes to 2 minutes) and achieved an SUS score of 82.5 (Excellent), a MIUS of 76.2 (Good), and a MAUS of 78.6 (Good), all surpassing benchmarks reported in previous studies. These results confirm that combining user-centered design with quantitative evaluation yields reliable outcomes. The study concludes that the hybrid evaluation framework provides both theoretical and practical contributions, while recommending further research on advanced features such as AI-based classification and large.

Abstract

Manual inventory processes at PT Borneo Sejahtera Medika resulted in an 18.2% stock discrepancy rate, frequent expired items, and delayed procurement decisions. This study develops and empirically evaluates a web-based inventory management system integrating real-time monitoring, automated expiration alerts, and demand forecasting. A six-month before–after analysis was conducted to measure system impact using discrepancy rate, operational performance indicators, and forecasting accuracy metrics. The results show that the discrepancy rate decreased from 18.2% to 13.6%, representing a relative improvement of 25.27%. Operational performance improved significantly, with stock checking time reduced by 52%, expired items reduced by 57%, and emergency procurement reduced by 31%. The forecasting module achieved a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 5.00%, indicating acceptable short-term prediction accuracy. These findings demonstrate that the implemented system provides measurable improvements in data accuracy, operational efficiency, and inventory control within a healthcare distribution context.

Abstract

Abstract

The mining industry faces significant challenges in workforce recruitment due to high technical skill requirements, complex selection processes, and stringent regulations. This study develops and evaluates a web-based e-recruitment system using the Laravel framework to enhance recruitment efficiency and effectiveness. The waterfall methodology was applied in system development, encompassing requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing, which included usability, performance, and security assessments. Usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) resulted in a score of 85.4, indicating a high level of user satisfaction. Performance testing recorded an average response time of 1.2 seconds and a throughput of 95 requests per second, demonstrating a responsive system capable of handling high loads. Security testing via penetration testing revealed a successful attack rate of only 3.2%, indicating a high level of security. Additionally, load testing showed that the system could support up to 500 concurrent users before experiencing significant performance degradation. The findings indicate that implementing an e-recruitment system based on Laravel improves recruitment efficiency by 40% compared to conventional methods. Future development recommendations include integrating artificial intelligence for candidate matching analysis to enhance selection accuracy in the mining industry.

Abstract

The application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare has revolutionized healthcare in an unprecedented way. IoT allows devices to interconnect, collect data, and exchange information in real-time, which can improve health monitoring, diagnosis, and disease management in a more effective way. This research aims to investigate the potential application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in improving personalized healthcare. The focus is on the ability of IoT to monitor health conditions in real-time, improve early diagnosis, provide customized care, and increase the overall efficiency of the health system. This research uses a qualitative and quantitative approach by conducting a literature review on the application of IoT in healthcare, as well as analyzing data from case studies of IoT technology implementation in personal healthcare. The results of this study reveal the great potential of IoT applications in improving personal healthcare, including remote monitoring of patient conditions, data-driven disease prediction, individualized treatment customization, and cost efficiency in the healthcare system. The implementation of IoT technology also brings challenges such as data privacy, system security, and cross-platform integration that need to be overcome to maximize its benefits. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare promises a more effective and efficient future of personalized healthcare. However, technical, ethical, and security challenges need to be overcome for these applications to be successful. With an increased understanding of the benefits and risks of IoT adoption in healthcare, appropriate steps can be taken to ensure better personalized healthcare in the future.
