Abstract

Online motorcycle taxi drivers are a group of people who are economically affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aimed to provide a balanced choice strategy for drivers and companies. Game theory was applied to conflict of interest situations as a research method. Choices for online transportation companies and drivers are analyzed and arranged in a payoff table until they reach the saddle point. Simulation software as an illustration of a balanced model. This research resulted in driver diligence and incentive strategies as optimal strategies for drivers and companies. If drivers improve performance by choosing a driver diligence strategy, the driver's expectations of getting incentives will be more realistic. Meanwhile, for the company, when the driver's diligence increases, the choice of providing incentives will provide balanced benefits as well.

Abstract

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Research and Development (R&D) methodologies in system development, with a specific focus on their application to the Integrity Zone Management Information System. Through a systematic literature review and an in-depth case study analysis, this research examines the fundamental differences, strengths, and limitations of each methodology. The study identifies key dimensions for comparison including flexibility, risk management, innovation potential, documentation requirements, and stakeholder engagement. Findings reveal that while SDLC methodologies provide structure and predictability for well-defined requirements, R&D approaches offer greater innovation capacity for exploratory projects. The Integrity Zone Management Information System case demonstrates how hybrid approaches can leverage the strengths of both methodologies and improved stakeholder satisfaction by 94%. This research contributes to the theoretical understanding of system development methodologies and provides practical guidance for selecting appropriate approaches based on project context, objectives, and constraints. The paper concludes with recommendations for practitioners and suggestions for future research in methodological integration and adaptation.

Abstract

Let G = (V,E) be a nontrivial, finite, and connected graph. A function c from E to {1,2,...,k},k ∈ N, can be considered as a rainbow k-coloring if every two vertices x and y in G has an x- y path. Therefore, no two path's edges receive the same color; this condition is called a “rainbow path”. The smallest positive integer k, designated by rc(G), is the G rainbow connection number. Thus, G has a rainbow k-coloring. Meanwhile, the c function is considered as a strong rainbow k-coloring within the condition for every two vertices x and y in G have an x - y rainbow path whose length is the distance between x and y. The smallest positive integer k, such as G, has a strong rainbow k-coloring; such a condition is called a strong rainbow connection number of G, denoted by src(G). In this research, the rainbow connection number and strong rainbow connection number are determined from the graph resulting from the join operation between the ladder graph and the trivial graph, denoted by rc(L_n∨K_1) and src(L_n∨K_1) respectively. So, rc (L_n∨K_1 )= src (L_n∨K_1 )=2,"for" 3≤n≤4 and rc (L_n∨K_1 )=3, while src(L_n∨K_1 )=⌈n/2⌉,"for" n≥5.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to help Unimed students determine priority modes of passenger transportation that suit the needs and capabilities of the community for the Medan-Pematangsiantar route. This research uses the Fuzzy-AHP and Topsis methods. The research results reveal that cost criteria have the greatest influence in choosing a mode of transportation, while safety criteria have the smallest influence. Apart from that, the most popular mode of transportation is buses, while the least popular is travel agents.
