Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional. Saat pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional, guru belum menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan prinsip pembelajaran untuk anak tunagrahita. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu: tahap pertama berupa tes kemampuan awal (pretest) untuk mengetahui jumlah skor awal yang diperoleh siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahap kedua berupa perlakuan dalam pembelajaran berupa metode pembelajaran demonstrasi. Tahap ketiga berupa tes kemampuan akhir (posttest) untuk meninjau pengaruh dari treatment yang telah diberikan. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa metode demonstrasi efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional membuat cinderamata untuk anak tunagrahita ringan kelas X di SLB Asuhan Anak Nasional Payakumbuh.

Abstract

Shaping a child's creative nature is a challenge in itself for parents with disabilities. Especially if the parents' disability is blindness with visual impairments. With these limitations, blind parents will find it difficult to care for, raise, train, and supervise their children. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out how blind parents cultivate their children's creative c haracter education. This study uses a qualitative narrative method. The sources of data for this research originate from blind parents and other informants. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. This is what the results of this study show. unique parenting habits for children. This can encourage creative ideas in children, including those whose parents have low vision.

Abstract

This research discusses makeup skills for mildly mentally retarded children. This research is experimental research. The purpose of this study is to prove an effective video tutorial used in improving makeup skills for mildly mentally retarded children.This type of research is an experimental method in the form of pre-experimental with the type of one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 5 mild retarded children in SLB N 2 Padang. This study consists of several stages, namely the first stage of the pretest to determine the initial condition of the ability to apply makeup, then given treatment using a video tutorial and continued by providing posttest processed and compared using the Wilcoxon Rank Task test. From the results of the study, the data obtained on average at the time of the pretest is 34.00 while for the posttest there is an increase that is to 85.80. More scientific data were processed using the test Wilcoxon obtained task rank values between pretest and posttest 2.0 23 with Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0.0 43 . Predetermined probability ? = 0.05. The alternative hypothesis is accepted because the probability <of the predetermined probability is 0.0 43 <0.05. So it is proven that the use of video tutorial models in improving makeup skills for mildly retarded children.

Abstract

Tujuan dari Program  Kemitraan Masyarakat dari dosen PLB  Universitas Negeri Padang adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan terapi Applied Behavior Analysis  dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi guru untuk melaksanakan berbagai macam terapi pada anak Autis. Metode ini merupakan salah satu metode yang dipakai untuk merubah prilaku anak menjad lebih baik. Melalui pelatihan ini guru mampu meningkatkan kompetensi dan  guru menjadi lebih profesional dalam memberikan terapi  dan memberikan pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan karakteristik anak autis.   Diharapkan guru-guru melalui pelatihan ini menguasai cara pelaksanaan terapi yang tepat sesuai kebutuhan anak autis agar mereka dapat melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi sehingga mereka mampu hidup mandiri dikemudian hari. Metode dalam penyelenggaran PKM ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab, metode demonstrasi, metoda latihan  dan praktek dan penugasan untuk melakukan terapi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan jumlah guru sebanyak sepuluh orang. Untuk mengetahui pencapaian sasaran dilakukan evaluasi pada tahap pretest dan posttest. Uji rangking bertanda wilcoxon ( Wilcoxon Sin Rang Test ) antara pretest dan postest menunjukkan bahwa nilai yang dihasilkan Z hitung = -2.810 ᵇ dengan probabilitas Asymp Sig (2-tailed) = 005 nilai probabilitas yang diperoleh melalui uji analisis kemudian dibandingkan dengan probabilitas yang telah ditetapkan α =0.05, sehingga probabilitas Z hitung kurang dari probabilitas yang ditetapkan (.005<0.05 ). Jadi  nilai probabilitas Z hitung dari uji ranking bertanda wilcoxon lebih kecil dari pada nilai probabiilitas yang ditetapkan 5% ( = 0.0 5), dan dari hasil analisis deskriptif di peroleh rata-rata pre test 63,9 dan postest 71,1  Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa pelatihan yan g diikuti oleh guru untuk  melakukan terapi pada anak autis berpengaruh secara signifikan, artinya pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan terapi dan memberikan pelayanan pendidikan pada anak autis.

Abstract

The blind children are hoped that they could solve their own life. They are prepared in order to be capable and live without any awkwardness in society, and also for helping the Social Department and all at once to face the changing of area autonomy. Along with the aim itself, so this training is given to the blind children including the teachers. One of the skills is in mixing the ration of chicken egg layer, so they are able to take care of it by concerning the composition of the chicken's food and appropriate with the needs. Strategy that is used is facing strategy, by visiting the object to be given an education and job training whether in the room or in the field. So, the method that is used is speech method as discussion and interview, and the method that is given to the blind children is especially in orientation and mobility. From this dedication activity can be summarized that by using the orientation and mobility method, the blind children could do the mixing of the ration of chicken egg layer.

Abstract

Discipline and independence are qualities that children should have. These characters will be very useful to support children's learning progress. This, of course, must be supported by parents, who are the main support system for children. However, their roles will be very different and become an exception for parents with blind disabilities. This study aims to find out how the role of blind parents develops the character traits of discipline and independence in their children. This study uses a qualitative narrative method. This research was conducted in a family with the characteristics of parents who are blind disabilities, and children who are without blind disabilities. This research was conducted in 2021 in one of the sub-districts in the city of Padang. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the character of discipline can be exercised by establishing disciplinary behavior in children by setting their bedtimes well and then giving clear and consistent rules. Meanwhile, independent character can be used to familiarize children with daily activities such as bathing, eating, dressing, washing, praying, and doing schoolwork.
