Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui pengembangan bahan ajar fisika terkomplementasi ayat Al-Quran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (Mixed Method) dengan subjek penelitian adalah tiga puluh siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMA di Kota Semarang. Langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengumpulan dan analisis data kuantitatif, uji hipotesis, pengumpulan dan analisis data kualitatif, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan angket, lembar observasi yang dilengkapi dengan rubrik penilaian, dan lembar pedoman wawancara motivasi belajar siswa. Angket diberikan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan bahan ajar fisika terkomplementasi ayat Al-Quran, dan observasi dilakukan selama proses pembelajaran yakni tiga pertemuan. Analisis data menggunakan skala likert (4, 3, 2,1), persentase, dan N-gain. Analisis data kualitatif menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar fisika terkomplementasi ayat Al-Quran dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS)  keterampilan proses sains yang layak untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa tunarungu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan subyek 8 siswa tunarungu SMALB Widya Bhakti Semarang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar observasi aktivitas keterampilan proses sains. Metode pengumpulan data terdiri, observasi, dan tes kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. LKS dikatakan layak, apabila mendapatkan persentase sebesar ≥61% dengan kriteria baik atau sangat baik.  Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan telah layak secara teoritis dan empiris untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kelayakan teoritis ditinjau dari hasil validasi meliputi kriteria isi, kebahasaan, dan penyajian dengan rentang persentase tiap-tiap kriteria adalah 66,67% - 100%; 66,67% - 75%; dan 66,67% - 75%, Sehingga secara keseluruan kelayakan LKS secara teoritis termasuk layak dengan kriteria baik dan sangat baik. Kelayakan empiris meliputi observasi aktivitas keterampilan proses sains mendapat rentang persentase antara 91,67% - 100% layak dengan kriteria sangat baik, 6 siswa tuntas pada tes pemahaman materi, dengan nilai terendah 58 dan tertinggi 100

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop virtual labs learning media assisted with picture story book for deaf students. This research method is Research and Development (RD) with 3D models from 4D which include: define, design, and develop. Product trials are conducted at Ungaran state special school in the even semester of 2017/2018 school year. The subjects of the study were two deaf students at 8th grade Ungaran state special school. The results of the feasibility test of virtual labs and the picture story book obtained a feasibility percentage of virtual labs of 88.2% with very feasible criteria and the picture story book of 84.3% with feasible criteria. Then, the practicality test of virtual labs and the picture story book obtained a percentage of 85.7% and 88.1% with very practical criteria. Then, the results of the effectiveness test using effect size obtained values of 1.75 and 1.8 in the high category. Based on these data, it can be concluded that virtual labs learning media and the picture story book were feasible, practical, and effective to use in supporting the natural science learning process of deaf students.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara daring melalui Google Meet dan Whatsapp Group selama dua siklus. Adapun kegiatan penelitiannya meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA-3 SMAN 1 Kembang. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes dan wawancara kemudian di analisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu pada Siklus I terdapat 57% peserta didik yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan dan terjadi peningkatan pada Siklus II sebanyak 77% peserta didik telah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan. Peningkatan kriteria ketuntasan tersebut dapat terjadi karena guru memberi motivasi yang menarik agar peserta didik lebih fokus mengikuti pembelajaran. Kemudian, guru memonitoring kegiatan peserta didik dalam berkelompok dan mengkoordinir peserta didik agar ikut berkontribusi dalam kelompoknya. Selain itu juga memberikan tambahan waktu untuk presentasi hasil diskusi agar peserta didik dapat berdiskusi lagi jika ada perbedaan pendapat. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas X MIPA-3 SMA N 1 Kembang.Kata kunci: hasil belajar kognitif, problem based learning Abstract. This study aims to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of students using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted online through Google Meet and Whatsapp Group for two cycles. The research activities include planning, implementation, observation/evaluation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA-3 SMAN 1 Kembang. Data collection techniques using tests and interviews are then analyzed qualitatively. The results obtained are that in Cycle I there are 57% of students who reach the criteria of completeness and an increase in Cycle II as much as 77% of students who have achieved the criteria of completeness. The increase in the criteria for completeness can occur because the teacher provides interesting motivation so that students are more focused on participating in learning. Then, the teacher monitors the activities of students in groups and coordinates students to contribute to the group. In addition, it also provides additional time for presentation of the results of the discussion so that students can discuss again if there are differences of opinion. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students in class X MIPA-3 SMA N 1 Kembang.Keywords: cognitive learning outcomes, problem based learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analysis of angklung sound intensity. The research method is using angklung musician 2 octaves. Each consists of two tube tone that sounded from the tone of G to G ', length and diameter of the tube every tone becomes independent variable, while intensity of the sound produced becomes dependent variable. Sound intensity is measured using a Sound Level Meter is placed with a constant distance. The result showed that G tone was a low tone which had a frequency of 49.5 Hz, first tube had 21.6 cm length and 4.1 cm diameter, second tube had 10.1 cm length and 3.4 cm diameter produced the sound intensity of 90.7 dB. G’ tone was a high tone which had a frequency of 99 Hz, first tube had 10 cm length and 3 cm diameter, second tube had 5.5 cm length and 2.1 cm diameter produced the sound intensity of 99.1 dB. It can be concluded that the higher the frequency, the greater the intensity of the sound produced. The shorter tube length and the smaller tube diameter, the greater the intensity of the sound. ©2016 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved.

Abstract

ZnO:Ga thin films grown on a corning glass substrate by the DC Magnetron Sputtering method have been successfully grown. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of plasma power on the resulting thin film structure. The quality and structure of the films were studied using X-ray duffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Based on XRD characterization, it was found that the ZnO:Ga thin film has a hexagonal wurtize structure on the C-axis with orientation planes (002) and (101). The quality of the resulting thin films can also be seen from the value of full-width at half maximum (FWHM) in the orientation plane (002) which increases with increasing plasma power during the growth process from 0.13°- 0.16°. The larger the FWHM value, the smaller the crystal grain size so that the structure becomes less good. This is supported by the surface morphology of the film which is less dense when the plasma power increases. ©2018 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify and analyze the students’misconceptions ofrigid body equilibrium concept. This research was included inertia moment, torque, andcentre of gravity concept. This reseacrh used qualitative method. There were 35 students assample chosen by purposive sampling technique. The research data was obtained bydiagnostic test used three-tier test. Based on the qualitative analysis result to the students’answers could be conclude that there were misconceptions. The high misconceptions werehappenned in moment inertia concept and cognitive domain “remember”.

Abstract

Studies that reveal the patterns of problem solving have been widely practiced, but there is no studies have revealed a pattern of problem solving based on personality types especially in the field of physics. The aims of this study are to determine the patterns of physics problem solving based on student personality type. The method that used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with Investigation of Lived Experience type. Subjects in this study are 12th-grade science programs students of MAN 1 Banyumas that was determined by a stratified sampling approach. This sampling divides students into homogeneous groups based on Keirsey's four personality types, they are Guardian, Artisan, Rational and Idealist. Each personality type was chosen by nine students as the subject of the study which was determined using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the pattern of physics problem solving between Idealist, Artisan, Guardian, and Rational students consecutively are conceptual problem solving, intuitive-analogic problem solving, intuitive problem solving, and analogic problem solving.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to overcome the increased of critical thinking’ students after they used worksheet with STEM approach. This research method is experiment method that consist of preparing, implementation, and data processing. Increasing of critical thinking can be measured by pretest-posttest problems. The result of data normalization show that data have normal distributed so next test is n-gain test. Result of the n-gain test pretest-posttest scores around 0.5 (medium level categorized). The highest improvement is 0.9 at evaluation aspect and lowest increase is 0.3 at interpretation aspect.

Abstract

The purpose of research on the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) can improve students' physics learning outcomes in terms of knowledge and skills. Classroom Action Research was conducted in two cycles, the subject of the research was class X APHP 03 with 35 students. The data collection method used was a test for knowledge and skill aspects through observation. Qualitative descriptive data analysis method for the knowledge aspect by percentage of students' mastery level classically and the skill aspect through the observation sheet scoring. Learning outcomes from cycle I and cycle II have increased in the knowledge aspect by 17.14%. Aspects of student skills increase in the indicators of systematic presentation, mastery of the material and pronunciation at the time of presentation, so that the implementation of Problem Based Learning can improve student learning outcomes
