Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify and analyze the students’misconceptions ofrigid body equilibrium concept. This research was included inertia moment, torque, andcentre of gravity concept. This reseacrh used qualitative method. There were 35 students assample chosen by purposive sampling technique. The research data was obtained bydiagnostic test used three-tier test. Based on the qualitative analysis result to the students’answers could be conclude that there were misconceptions. The high misconceptions werehappenned in moment inertia concept and cognitive domain “remember”.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) describe and analyze teaching materials and learning models to improve critical thinking skills and environmental care characters carried out by teachers, 2) test the validity of the design of PBL-based comics teaching materials containing Conservation developed, 3) test the effectiveness of comics teaching materials PBL based on Conservation to improve critical thinking skills and environmental care character of students and 4) testing the effectiveness of PBL based comics teaching materials containing Conservation to improve students' environmental care character. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development). The research development procedure consists of two main objectives, namely: (1) developing the product, and (2) testing the effectiveness of the product in achieving the goal. The results of research on teaching materials and learning models can improve the critical thinking skills and environmental care character of students by teachers. The design of comics teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning containing Conservation that was developed is a very feasible and valid teaching material. Teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning Comics containing Conservation to improve students' critical thinking skills are effective teaching materials. Comics teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning containing Conservation to improve students' environmental care character are effective teaching materials.

Abstract

The preparation of scientific literacy tests is very important knowledge for teachers in 21st-century learning. Therefore, teachers must have knowledge about the preparation of scientific literacy tests for students. This service research aims to increase knowledge about ways to arrange a scientific literacy test through the teachers of the Bulustalan State Elementary School. Participation in training activities through this service are all teachers at the Bulustalan State Elementary School. The method used in this service research is to use the lecture, practice, and assignment methods. This service activity has a good impact, namely providing insight to teachers about literacy test instruments to face the 21st century and increasing teacher competence related to skills in preparing scientific literacy test instruments that can be integrated into the form of multiple-choice tests and essay tests.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menjelaskan perbedaan penerapan LKS sebagai suplemen model Prediction, Observation, Explanation, Elaboration, Write dan Evaluation (POE2WE), dalam penguasaan konsep getaran harmonis sederhana.  Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah kuantitatif desain kuasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 72 siswa yang ditentukan secara purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes objektif pilihan ganda.  Hasil penelitian dilaporkan bahwa model pembelajaran POE2WE berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pemahaman siswa tetapi efektifitasnya masih tergolong rendah. Hasil yang menarik adalah ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan dari hasil uji t dengan perolehan nilai thitung (12.30) ttabel ( ), dapat diambil keputusan hipotesis kerja diterima. Nilai g yang didapatkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,08  dan nilai gain pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,27 . Simpulan penelitian bahwa adalah penggunaan LKS pada POE2WE berpengaruh positif terhadap penguasaan konsep getaran harmonis sederhana dan diperoleh peningkatan penguasaan konsep termasuk kategori rendah setelah penerapan model pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the validity of a numeracy literacy assessment instrument of electromagnetic induction based on minimum capability assessment (MCA) which was develop using Rasch model analysis assisted by Winstep software. The research employed the research and development design with a modified Mardapi model. The instrument was constructed by developing fifteen questions. The analysis of the instrument was utilized to measure the construct and item validity, reliability, item difficulty level, and item discriminatory. This research involved 32 participants in the small-scale test and 206 participants in the large-scale trial. The test result showed that the fifteen questions were suitable to use because it has values that meet the criteria for all measurement variables both on small scale and large-scale tests and could be assess students' numeracy literacy skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah 1) untuk menganalisis hubungan antara literasi kesehatan dengan berat badan dan literasi gizi dengan berat badan, 2) untuk menganalisis hubungan antara literasi kesehatan dengan status gizi dan literasi gizi dengan status gizi, 3) menganalisis pengaruh literasi kesehatan dan literasi gzi terhadap berat badan dan 4) menganalisis pengaruh literasi kesehatan dan literasi gzi terhadap status gizi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional dengan subyek penelitian mahasiswa UNNES. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling, dengan sampel yang telah ditentukan yakni mahasiswa yang mendapat mata kuliah gizi dan kesehatan. Literasi kesehatan diukur dengan The Newest Vital Sign (NVS) dan titerasi gizi Diet and Health Knowledge Survey (DHKS). Berat bedan diukur dengan timbangan dan status gizi diukur dengan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT). Analisis data dilakukan person correlation dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat literasi kesehatan mahasiswa 64,6 % pada kategori memadai, tingkat literasi gizi pada kategori kurang. Status gizi mahasiswa 7.3% sangat kurus, 14.6 % kurus, 56.1% normal, 4.9 % gizi lebih dan 17.1% obesitas. Rerata berat badan 55.8 ± 12.35 kg. Ada hubungan negatif antara literasi kesehatan dengan berat badan (r = - 0,270), literasi gizi dan berat badan (r = - 0,323), literasi kesehatan dengan status gizi (r = - 0,268), dan literasi gizi dengan status gizi (r = - 0,268). Ada pengaruh negatif antara literasi kesehatan dengan berat badan(p = 0,014), literasi gizi dan berat badan (p = 0,015), dan literasi gizi dengan status gizi (p = 0,015). Tidak ada pengaruh literasi kesehatan dengan status gizi (p= 0,106), literasi kesehatan dan gizi bersinergi mempengaruhi berat badan ( p = 0,001) dan status gizi (p = 0,020). Penelitian lanjutan diperlukan untuk memberikan intervensi pendidikan gizi dan kesehatan dalam proses pembelajaran MK gizi dan Kesehatan untuk memperbaiki status gizi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Abstrak. High school physics learning outcomes referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture include aspect of understanding concept. The purpose of this study was to descriptively analyze the development and effectiveness of STEM-Project Based learning (STEM-PjBL) model in physics learning outcomes referring to the independent curriculum in Indonesia. This study used a descriptive qualitative research approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, data observation, literature studies. The study was conducted in six Senior High Schools in Semarang from July 1st to August 31st, 2022. The data sources consisted of physics teachers, observation sheets and literature studies from published or perish (PoP). In the literature study, data collection was carried out based on the Scopus database with the keywords STEM Based Project based learning; Physics learning. The data analysis was carried out using Miles and Huberman (2014) model, which included the stages of data reduction, display, and verification. The results showed that most of the teachers who applied physics learning in the independent curriculum had not used the STEM-based PjBL learning model and still experienced many obstacles in developing learning scenarios, thus the outcomes of learning physics were still low. Supported by the results of literature study using PoP, it illustrates that the trend of physics publications from 2017-2022 is dominated by PjBL and STEM learning at the high school level. This study recommends that the availability of guides or manuals for implementing online and offline STEM-based PjBL learning model that can develop the aspects of scientific skills and product of the students learning is needed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of LOK-R (Literacy, Orientation, Collaboration, Reflection) learning strategies on scientific literacy skills. This type of research includes pre-experimental research with a one-group pre-test and post-test research design. This research was conducted at MI Islamiyah Kalimukti with a sample of 15 students. Data were collected by conducting a pre-test to determine students' initial scientific literacy skills and a post-test to determine the increase in students' scientific literacy abilities after implementing the LOK-R learning strategy. Research data were analyzed using descriptive and quantitative analysis. The n-gain study showed an increase in the average pretest and posttest results. Before implementing the LOK-R learning strategy, the average pretest of students was 56.47; then, it increased to 81.33 in the posttest results of students after implementing the LOK-R learning strategy. Likewise, the paired sample test results obtained a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that applying the LOK-R learning strategy increases students' scientific literacy skills. Therefore, the LOK-R learning strategy can be an alternative in science learning activities on heat material and its transfer.

Abstract

Pada abad 21 ini, guru dituntut dapat menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 revisi dan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, termasuk menyusun asesmen kompetensi berbasis kecakapan abad-21 khusus 4 C’s. Guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun instrumen asesmen yang mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis, keterampilan elaborasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian survey kuantitatif dengan dengan desain expost-facto, dengan tujuan mengungkap tanggapan dan kemampuan umum guru SMP/MTs dalam menyusun asesmen pembelajaran IPAS berbasis kecakapan abad ke-21. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 guru IPAS SMP/MTs di Kota Semarang teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner, tes, dan proyek. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji N-Gain, deskriptif persentase, dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian: 1) tanggapan responden sangat baik mencapai 99% dari peserta, dan 2) peningkatan pemahaman umum responden terhadap materi dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,67 (skala 0-1) dan 3) penguasaan membuat asesmen berbentuk proyek 82 (skala 0-100) kategori baik. Simpulan adalah peningkatan pemahaman guru cukup dan penguasaan bentuk proyek dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

Technology is the result of the process of scientific development. 21st century technology has developed rapidly in the scope of education. High-level thinking is an important competency for students in the 21st century. For this reason, learning planning is needed that is able to improve high-level thinking competencies, especially in terms of student interpretation. Many practical lessons at SMA N 1 Balapulang are still not technology-based. This research aims to produce a practical tool based on Arduino UNO to improve graphic interpretation for high school students. This type of research is Research and Development (R & D) and uses a research model, namely ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Based on validation by tool experts, it was found that the practical tool media developed received a score of 92.5% in the very good category. The characteristics of the media developed are the Arduino UNO microcontroller with an LM35 sensor to read the temperature of the liquid being measured, the interface of the Arduino UNO is PLX-DAQ software so that it is stored in MS Excel, there is a LKPD developed to make it easier for students during practicum. The results of improving student graphic interpretation seen from the pre-test and post-test obtained an average score from 57.11% to 89.61%. The N-Gain value obtained was 0.72, where there was an increase in graphic interpretation for students in the high category. The results of the analysis of heat change calculations proportional to temperature changes can improve student interpretation of graphs.
