Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the PBL model assisted by media powerpoint and improve student learning of thematic learning for class IV SDN 171 Rejang Lebong. This research is a Classroom Action Research. Subjects in the study were 18 students, with 9 males and 9 females. Data collection techniques using observation and test techniques. The research instrument was an observation sheet and a test sheet. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative techniques. In the PBL model there is a syntax in the form of student orientation to problems, organizing students to learn, guiding individual/group experiences, developing and presenting work, analyzing and evaluating problem solving processes. In each syntax the teacher has implemented it well and there is an increase in student learning outcomes. In the cognitive aspect of the first cycle, Indonesian subjects obtained an average of 69.72 classical learning completeness of 61.11% and increased in the second cycle with an average of 77.5 classical learning completeness of 83.33%. Science subjects in the first cycle obtained an average of 67.77 with classical learning completeness 55.55%, increased in the second cycle with an average acquisition of 78.33 classical learning completeness 88.88%. The affective aspect of the first cycle obtained a class average of 4.91 with a sufficient category, increased in the second cycle by obtaining a class average of 5.88 in a good category. Psychomotor aspect in the first cycle the average grade obtained by 5 with enough categories, increased in the second cycle to obtain an average grade of 5.86 for both categories. Hence, the implementation of PBL model using powerpoint media enhanced the 4th grade students’ learning outcomes of SDN 171 Rejang Lebong.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam bentuk pelatihan pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) pada Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) SD di Kecamatan Hulu Palik untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru,  memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada para guru tentang pentingnya LKPD.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning models assisted by pictorial word card media on Thematic learning on student learning outcomes. This research is quantitative research. The research method used was Quasi Experiment with the type of design The Matching Only Pretest-Posstest Control Group Design. The population of this study was first-grade students of SDN Gugus 10 Lebong Regency. The sample in this study was class I SDN 54 Lebong and Class I SDN 16 Lebong. The sampling technique uses Cluster Random Sampling. The total sample of 52 students consisted of class I SDN 54 Lebong totaling 25 students as the experimental class and class I SDN 16 Lebong totaling 27 students as the control class. The research instrument used was in the form of a knowledge learning test in the form of Multiple Choices given through Pretest and Posttest, for the learning outcomes aspects of attitudes and skills the instruments used were observation guidelines. The data analysis technique in this study is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test. Based on the results of this study it is known that the value of t-count on SBDP subjects is 5.43 and in Indonesian Language subjects is 2.65 greater than t-table at a 5% significance level of 1.675. Thus the Ha hypothesis is proven and accepted. This shows that there are influences on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning that use discovery learning models assisted with pictorial word card media.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Mind Mapping learning model and to analyze the increase in learning activeness and creative thinking abilities of students in Thematic learning for class V Elementary School 171 Rejang Lebong. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with students of class V Elementary School 171 Rejang Lebong in the academic year 2020/2021 as the subjects; consists of 21 students, 9 male students and 12 female students. This study consisted of 2 cycles, each cycle consisted of 3 meetings. The data collection was observation techniques, then followed by analyzing the data using a formula that is processed descriptively, namely quantitative analysis. The research instrument was an observation sheet of learning activeness and creative thinking ability. The results showed that the implementation of the Mind Mapping learning model had increased from Cycle I to Cycle II. It can be seen from the increased activeness and creative thinking ability of the students. The average result of the learning activeness of the students in the first cycle was 58.15% in the sufficient category, then increased to 79.19% in the second cycle in the good category. The average result of students’ creative thingking abilitu in the first cycle was 59.79% in the sufficient category, then increased to 77.14% in the good category. Therefore, the application of the Mind Mapping learning model can increase learning activeness and creative thinking ability for fifth grade students of Elementary School 171 Rejang Lebong.

Abstract

Learning Models of Teams Games Tournaments Type Integrated with Media Puzzles on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects of class V SDN Gugus II Bengkulu Utara. The type used is quantitative research. The method used is quasy experiment with research design The Matching Only Pretest-Postest Group Design. The population is SDN Gugus IIBengkulu Utara. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The sample is B-accredited SDN and KTSP curriculum. Class V at SDN 090 with the number of students as many as 15 students as the experimental class and class V students at SDN 099 with the number of students as many as 15 students as the control class. The t-test results get tcount (4.132)> t table (1.666). The tcount obtained is higher than ttable, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the Cooperative Learning learning model Teams Games Tournaments Type Integrates With Media Puzzle on Social Studies learning outcomes of students in class V SDN Gugus II Bengkulu Utara.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Snowball Throwing type Cooperative Learning model and increase the self-confidence and responsible attitudes of third-grade students of SD Negeri 02 Kabawetan. This research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 16 students consisting of 7 male students and 9 female students. The research procedure is in cyclic form. Each cycle consists of four stages including Planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. This research data collection technique using observation techniques. The research instrument was a self-confidence and responsibility observation sheet. The data analysis technique used is the observation sheet using a formula that is processed descriptively, namely quantitative analysis and the range of values ​​for each criterion. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Snowball Throwing learning model has increased from cycle one to cycle two. This can be seen from the increase in students' self-confidence and responsibility. The results of the observation of the assessment of students' self-confidence in the first cycle obtained that 55.30% was included in the sufficient category. Then the increase in the results of the observation of the second cycle was obtained that 75.93% was included in the Good category, while the results of the observation on the assessment of the responsibility of students' attitudes were obtained, namely, 57.98% included in the sufficient category Then the increase in the observation results of the second cycle was obtained that 77.70% was included in the good category. Thus, the application of the Snowball Throwing model can increase the self-confidence and responsibility of third-grade students of Elementary School 02 Kabawetan.

Abstract

The Javanese calendrical system is rich in history, philosophy, and math. This ethnomathematical study examined Javanese calendar mathematical concepts and their potential as a learning resource for elementary mathematics. This qualitative research collected data through direct observation, interviews, and literature review. The study used Miles and Huberman's analysis model for data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The Javanese calendrical system—Saka Year, Wetonan, lunar cycles, solar cycles, Pasaran, and Wuku cycles—is closely linked to elementary school math concepts. These include time calculations, pattern recognition, cyclical sequences, measurement, whole numbers, fractions, and conversions. The study found how incorporating the Javanese calendar into mathematics education to improve students' contextual understanding and make learning more engaging and culturally relevant. This study emphasizes ethnomathematics' role in meaningful learning by integrating mathematics with local culture. The Javanese calendar connects abstract mathematical theories to real-world applications through interactive education. The study suggests that ethnomathematics can boost student engagement, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation.
