Abstract

This study aims to explain the learning interest of class IVa students at SDN Cikoko 03 Jakarta in thematic learning theme 9 during the covid-19 pandemic. To find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the interest in learning of grade IVa students at SDN Cikoko 03 Jakarta on thematic learning theme 9. Efforts can be made to increase student interest in learning in grade IVa SDN Cikoko 03 Jakarta. The method used by the researcher is a qualitative descriptive method and the subject of the research is the students and teachers of class IVa at SDN Cikoko 03 Jakarta. Data collection techniques that researchers use are interviews, observation and documentation. The validation method in this study is triangulation. The results showed that the learning interest of grade IVa students at SDN Cikoko 03 Jakarta could be said to be good because in the limited face-to-face learning process (PTMT) the teacher carried out two-way interactions with students, giving assignments as evaluations for students. When distance learning (PJJ) the teacher works with parents to find out the learning interest of grade IVa students at SDN Cikoko 03 Jakarta in thematic learning theme 9. Students have enthusiasm and want to know thematic learning theme 9 during distance learning (PJJ) and also learning limited face-to-face (PTMT). Class IVa teachers at SDN Cikoko 03 Jakarta apply fun and varied learning methods so that students have a good interest in learning and to create fun, creative and innovative learning.

Abstract

Elementary school students' early reading skills are still low, resulting in delays in understanding learning materials. The lack of innovative and interactive learning media causes students to be less motivated in developing early literacy skills. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of augmented reality-based pop-up book media in improving students' early reading skills by emphasizing analysis, evaluation, and application skills. The type of research used is an experiment with a single-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects involved 35 students aged 6–7 years as trial subjects. Data were collected through a test of early reading skills using pretest and posttest instruments. Data analysis was carried out using a t-test to determine the average difference before and after treatment. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' early reading skills after using augmented reality-based pop-up book media, which proves that this media is able to support the learning process more effectively and enjoyably. The conclusion of this study confirms that augmented reality-based pop-up book media is effective in improving students' early reading skills, while addressing the problem of low basic literacy. The implications of this research indicate that the use of interactive technology can be an important strategy for teachers to enrich early literacy learning media to make it more interesting, contextual, and appropriate to the needs of the digital generation.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the attitudes and abilities of technosociopreneurs in Semester V PGSD students at Trilogy University through the E-Choaching Clinic strategy. This research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE Assessment/Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation model. The subjects of this research were 30 fifth semester students of Trilogy University PGSD. The research instrument used observation sheets and questionnaires. E-coaching clinics are basically guidance designed to improve competencies and attitudes both formally and informally through online media. The e-coaching clinic is a solution to help students develop themselves in carrying out their duties effectively, so that they can develop attitudes and abilities in accordance with the vision and mission of Trilogi Higher Education, which in this case are the attitudes and abilities of technosociopreneurs. The research results show that the development and implementation of e-coaching has succeeded in increasing the knowledge and abilities of technosociopreneurs in managing smart education tutoring for fifth semester PGSD students. The achievement indicators are: initiative aspect achievement 25% (good category), collaboration aspect 12.5% (good category), and independent aspect 30% (good). Then in the aspect of technology utilization it has reached 62.5% and innovation has reached 50% of the expected standards.

Abstract

Menguasai keempat aspek bahasa (mendengar, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis) sangat penting untuk keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengidentifikasikan keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa kelas IV A sebelum, saat, dan setelah penerapan media berbasis audio visual di SDN Pancoran 07 Pagi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model yang digunakan ialah Kemmis dan Taggart. Penerapan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil menulis teks deskripsi pada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi telah meningkat sebesar 11,17 dari kondisi awal yaitu 69,5 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80,67.Kata Kunci: keterampilan menulis, teks deskripsi, media audio visual

Abstract

The development of interactive learning media plays a crucial role in enhancing students' learning experiences. This study investigates the development, feasibility, and effectiveness of Heyzine Flipbook as an interactive learning medium in Indonesian language learning for elementary school students, particularly in improving early reading skills. A Research and Development (RD) approach was used, following the Borg Gall model, implementing 7 out of 10 stages. The study involved 21 first-grade students from SDN Cipinang Besar Selatan 20 Pagi. The Heyzine Flipbook, an open-access platform for converting PDFs into interactive digital books with multimedia components (audio, video, and web links), was utilized. The feasibility of the Heyzine Flipbook was validated by experts, with scores of 82.86% from media experts, 95.24% from material experts, and 95% from language experts, indicating high feasibility. The effectiveness was assessed through pre-test and post-test scores. The average pre-test score was 78.33, which increased to 89.33 in the post-test, demonstrating a significant improvement in early reading skills. The results indicate that Heyzine Flipbook is an effective interactive learning medium for elementary students, enhancing engagement and comprehension in Indonesian language learning. The study confirms that Heyzine Flipbook is a feasible and effective tool for improving early reading skills in elementary schools. Further research is recommended to explore its application in other subjects and grade levels.

Abstract

Writing skills constitute a crucial aspect of developing literacy competence among elementary school students. However, preliminary observations indicate that most students still experience difficulties in constructing procedural texts in a coherent manner and in accordance with appropriate linguistic conventions. This study aims to develop Television Cartoon Series Picture Card media to enhance the procedural text writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Kebon Baru 07 Jakarta.This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through teacher interviews, classroom observations, documentation, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis techniques included quantitative descriptive analysis to assess the feasibility of the developed media based on expert validation percentages, as well as analysis of learning improvement using the N-Gain test. The results indicated that the developed media were highly feasible for use, as evidenced by expert validation scores of 98.57% from subject matter experts, 92.94% from media experts, and 90% from language experts. Effectiveness testing conducted on a small scale involving 15 students yielded an average N-Gain score of 0.49, categorized as moderate. Meanwhile, large-scale trials involving 26 students demonstrated a higher improvement, with an average N-Gain score of 0.77, categorized as high. These findings demonstrate that the Television Cartoon Series Picture Card media are effective in improving elementary school students’ understanding and writing skills in procedural texts.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak lingkungan dengan bau busuk terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat di Wilayah TPSS Cipayung Kota Depok. Metode Kegiatan Pengabdian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terhadap sejumlah responden. Hasil Kegiatan Pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa bau busuk yang terkait dengan lingkungan di Wilayah TPSS Cipayung Kota Depok memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pertama, ditemukan bahwa bau busuk tersebut menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan, seperti iritasi pada saluran pernapasan dan gangguan pencernaan. Hal ini berdampak pada kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan fisik masyarakat. Kedua, kehadiran bau yang tidak sedap menciptakan penurunan kualitas hidup, mengganggu kenyamanan sehari-hari, suasana hati, kualitas tidur, dan interaksi sosial masyarakat. Hal ini berpotensi mengurangi tingkat kesejahteraan mereka secara keseluruhan. Ketiga, dampak bau busuk juga berkontribusi pada stigmatisasi dan diskriminasi terhadap masyarakat. Responden melaporkan adanya perasaan malu dan perlakuan rendah dari orang lain karena asosiasi bau busuk dengan kondisi lingkungan mereka. Stigmatisasi dan diskriminasi ini dapat mempengaruhi harga diri dan kesejahteraan psikologis masyarakat. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya tindakan untuk meningkatkan pengawasan dan pengendalian bau busuk serta perlunya upaya dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Diharapkan langkah-langkah ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Wilayah TPSS Cipayung Kota Depok.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive multimedia learning media based on iSpring Suite 9 in thematic learning in class III at SDN Kalideres 12 Pagi. This research uses the Borg and Gall development model. Research subjects in class III of SDN Kalideres 12 Pagi with 32 students. The objectives in developing this media include: 1) to produce interactive multimedia learning media based on Ispring Suite 9 in class III thematic learning, 2) to determine the level of feasibility of interactive multimedia learning in class III thematic learning, and 3) to determine the effectiveness of interactive multimedia learning on the learning outcomes of class III. The results of this research are products in the form of interactive multimedia based on iSpring Suite 9 with validation results from media design experts of 90.27%, material experts of 96.25% in the "very feasible" category, and positive response results in students with a percentage of 93%. Student learning outcomes through the pre-test and post-test showed an increase where the average post-test score was 88.1, higher than the pre-test average score of only 68.1, with an N-gain of 0.63 which is included in the medium categories. Based on these data, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia learning media based on Ispring Suite 9 is feasible and effective for use in class III thematic learning at SDN Kalideres 12 Pagi.
