Abstract

The number of disaster events cannot be separated from the role of the community. This study aims to determine the value of students  pretest and posttest knowledge in flood and landslide disaster management and analyze the provision of education after and after providing disaster management education. The method used is quasi-experimental with a pretest and posttest with control approach. The research was conducted by giving different treatment to two groups. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 07, Sarolangun Regency, using class XII IPA II. The sample used in 1 science class was 33 students. Sampling using simple random sampling method. The results show that there is a significant difference between pretest and posttest knowledge of disaster management in floods and landslides in Sarolangun district. The value obtained in the pretest the average level of knowledge is 64.64 and the protest value is the average level of knowledge is 81.32. The results of the t-test in the first stage, namely the pretest, obtained a sing value (2 tailed) of 0.00, namely <0.05, with Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant (significant) difference in the results of the science class pretest, the results of the t-test value at the posttest stage of the sing value (2 tailed as 0.111 that is > 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that there is no significant difference (significant) between posttest and pretest results. Value pretest 64.64, with the result the percentage > 70% can be said to be less.

Coronary heart disease (CHD) patients are vulnerable to rehospitalization. One of the reasons for the high rehospitalization rate in CHD patients is the implementation of inadequate discharge planning. The aim of this research is to find out an overview of the implementation of discharge planning in the cardiac inpatient room. This research was a descriptive analytical research with a survey design. The sample in this study was patients with coronary heart disease. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling. The sample size in this study was 67 people.  The research used a discharge planning implementation questionnaire. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptives presented in the form of frequencies and percentages. The results showed that the implementation of discharge planning in the fair category was  35.82%, good 31,34%, poor 23,88%, and very good  8,96%. Therefore, it is hoped that the implementation of discharge planning in the room can be improved through the availability of operational procedural standards regarding the implementation of structured and planned discharge planning so that the implementation of discharge planning in the room becomes more optimal. Abstrak Pasien penyakit jantung koroner (PJK) rentan mengalami rehosipitalisasi. Abstract

Health education is a crucial aspect of guiding learners about health in a broad range, encompassing physical, mental, and social well-being. Schools, being environments where students are exposed to various hazards, are particularly vulnerable to accidents. First aid education is essential in preventing injuries and ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary skills to respond effectively in emergency situations. This study aims to evaluate the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) based First Aid health education on the knowledge of Youth Red Cross (PMR) members at Titian Teras State Senior High School, Jambi City. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with one pretest-posttest group without a control group. A total of 50 PMR members were involved, divided into an intervention group (n=25) and a control group (n=25). The intervention group received AR-based First Aid health education, while the control group received conventional methods. Data collection was conducted using a knowledge assessment tool, and pre- and post-test analyses were performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the intervention group's knowledge. After the intervention, 80% of respondents in the intervention group achieved the "good" category, compared to only 36% in the control group. The Mann-Whitney test confirmed the significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05), indicating that the AR-based First Aid health education was more effective in improving PMR members' knowledge compared to conventional methods. This study concludes that AR-based First Aid health education is more effective in improving PMR members' knowledge compared to conventional methods. The integration of AR technology in health education highlights its potential in enhancing learning outcomes and improving the preparedness of students in responding to emergencies. The findings suggest that AR can be a valuable tool in health education, particularly in first aid training, by providing an immersive and interactive learning experience that enhances both knowledge and skills acquisition.
