Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the potential use of palace palace as a source of learning, and to find out the historical understanding of students of class X Social High School students. The research method uses Mixed Methods with Sequential Exploratory design. Starting with qualitative research and continuing with quantitative research. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Semple of the research are students of class X IPS I of SMAN 4 Berau. The results showed that the potential of Sambaliung Palace is available as a source of historical learning to support the learning process. The results of data analysis showed that the treatment utilizing Sambaliung Palace as a source of learning could increase students' historical understanding with a probability of 0,000.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan potensi pemanfaatan meseum keraton sebagai sumber belajar, dan untuk mengetahui pemahaman sejarah siswa peserta didik kelas X IPS SMAN. Metode Penelitian menggunakan Mixed Methods dengan desain Sequential Exploratory. Dimulai dengan penelitian kualitatif dan dilanjutkan dengan penelitian kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X IPS I SMAN 4 Berau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi meseum keraton sambaliung cukup tersedia sebagai sumber belajar sejarah untuk menunjang proses kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan memanfaatkan meseum keraton sambaliung sebagai sumber belajar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman sejarah siswa peserta didik dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,000.

Bondowoso, as one of the regions of East Java Province, has the potential of cultural heritage from the various era: megalithic, Hindhu-Buddhist, colonial, and the struggle for the defense of Indonesian independence. However, the potential of cultural heritage, which is known to be spread throughout the district (kecamatan) in Bondowoso, has not been utilized as a source of local history instruction or as a vital asset of the region. For this reason, it is necessary to find a solution for modeling the use of cultural heritage as a source of historical learning and study of superior regional assets to foster the participation of local communities based on the preservation of cultural heritage for the welfare of the communities around the cultural heritage. The method used is to adopt the modeling of the use of cultural heritage, namely Malang Kembali event, the colorful village event of Jodipan Village, Malang City, the development of revitalization of the Majapahitan house in Trowulan and the Mount Pawitra adventure event. The results of the study show that the four models are suitable to be applied in Bondowoso to foster the role of the community around cultural heritage for the use of cultural heritage as a source of learning of Local History and superior regional assets in Bondowoso Regency, based on the preservation of cultural heritage.

The cultural heritage of Pacitan Regency is concentrated in Punung area. Most of the cultural heritage Punung is a prehistoric cultural heritage, consisting of paleolitik sites, mesolitik and neolitik sites. Paleolithic sites are widespread throughout Kali Baksoka, while the mesolithic sites include the residential cave sites Song Terus, Song Keplek and Song Gupuh. The neolithic sites include among others Ngrijangan neolithic workshop and Ngrijangan Sengon. Some of these sites have been designated as a cultural heritage and can be used as a medium for educational support. Paleolitik Kali Baksoka cultural heritage sites can be used as supporting media of paleolithic cultural level, cultural site of Song Terus and Song Keplek as a medium of life support of mesolitic cultural level and cultural heritage of Ngrijangan site as supporting life of neolithic culture level.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um033v1i12018085

The Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia since mid-March 2020 and caused changes to various fields. One of the areas affected is education. Learning activitiess that were originally done face-to-face or directly, are now turning into distance learning or online learning. In the study of history, especially local history, online learning experienced quite complex challenges. This research aims to analyze the problems or challenges experienced by history teachers in East Java in developing life-based history learning designs. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The subject of this study is a high school history teacher in East Java. Data collection techniques are carried out using observations, interviews and documentary studies. Data analysis is done by collecting data reduction data, presenting data and verifying the resulting data. As a result, there are obstacles faced by teachers and make learning designs such as doing learning planning, determining, material, choosing media, teaching materials to learning resources. The solution to the challenges faced is to make adjustments to existing conditions by making local history learning designs based online. The initial stage is to analyze basic competencies on the syllabus. The second stage is to determine the indicator of competency achievement (ICA). After the teacher has a ICA, it can determine the material, media, learning resources to learning strategies to create local history learning based on life.

Abstrak: Perhelatan akbar Malang Kembali dapat dijadikan model tentang pemanfaatan bangunan cagar budaya untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat berbasis pada pelestarian serta penanaman kesadaran sejarah daerah. Langkah-langkah yang ditempuh yaitu melakukan kajian mendalam tentang bangunan-bangunan cagar budaya untuk mengungkap nilai sejarah, arsitektur dan kemudian mengkaitkannya dengan tradisi budaya yang masih berlanjut. Nilai-nilai sejarah dan arsitektur bangunan cagar budaya tersebut dikemas dalam kegiatan even hari jadi kota atau daerah yang berbasis pada pelestarian cagar budaya dan untuk membangkitkan emage pariwisata budaya. Untuk menunjang hal itu maka perlunya membangun museum daerah dan guide book pariwisata lintasan sejarah kota atau daerah.Abstract. The glorification of Malang Kembali can be used as a model on the utilization of heritage buildings for public welfare based on the preservation and cultivation of awareness of the area's history. Steps to be taken of deepest conduct studies on cultural heritage buildings to reveal the value of history, architecture and then link it to the cultural tradition that still continues. The values of the historical and architectural heritage building is packaged in activities even days so a city or area based on the preservation of cultural heritage and cultural tourism to generate emage. To support it, the necessity of building a regional museum and tourist guide book trajectories city or region.

Makna penggambaran "muka binatang" dan “muka manusia” dalam kehidupan Prasejarah Indonesia selalu berhubungan dengan masalah religi, khu-susnya bertumpu masalah upacara kematian. Dalam alam pikiran abstrak nirsadar hal ini berhubungan dengan konsepsi pemujaan roh nenek-moyang. Dalam tata-ran alam pikiran abstrak sadar berbentuk atau mewujud dalam kreatifitas atau perilaku tata cara upacara penguburan mayat. Dalam tataran alam pikiran abstrak, berupa atau mewujud menjadi berbagai bentuk fisik artefak hiasan muka bi-natang atau muka manusia. Dengan demikian maknanya merupakan simbol-simbol yang berhubungan dengan si mati yang telah berada di alam kematian. Inilah hasil kajian tentang makna penggambaran "muka bintang" dan “muka manusia” dalam kehidupan masyarakat Prasejarah Indonesia berdasarkan para-digma Arkeologi Post-Prossesual perspektif Strukturalisme Claude Lévi-Strauss. The meaning of "animal face" and the “human face” description in the life of Indonesian prehistory is related to religious issues, especially on the issue of death. In the unconscious mind , this is related to the conception of ancestor spirit worship, In the level of nature, the conscious mind is shaped or embodied in the creativity or behavior of the burial ceremony. In the level of abstract form or manifest becomes various forms of physical artifacts or animal face or human face. Thus the meaning is the symbols associated with the dead who has been in the realm of death. This is the result of the study of the meaning of "animal face" and “human face” in the life of Indonesian Prehistoric society based on the par-adigm of Post-Prossesual archaeology and Structuralism of Claude Lévi-Strauss perspective.

Abstrak. Arkeologi pos-prosesual dengan perspektif strukturalisme Levi-Strauss membantu para arkeolog prasejarah untuk menjelaskan kedudukan dan peran penting Prasejarah Indonesia dalam perkembangan Prasejarah Asia Tenggara. Sudah seharusnya para arkeolog serta sejarawan melihat prasejarah bukan dari teknologi manusianya tetapi dari manusianya itu sendiri. Dengan adanya transformasi kebudayaan akan terlihat bahwa fase-fase kebudayaan masa prasejarah sesuai dengan tingkat kognisi perkembangan zamannya. Hal ini dimaknai bahwa kedudukan masyarakat Prasejarah Indonesia dalam konteks kawasan regional selalu terbuka dengan fase perkembangan budaya baru dan mentransformasikannya ke dalam kehidupan setempat, sehingga masyarakat prasejarah Indonesia dapat disejajarkan dengan kognisi manusia masa sekarang. Di sinilah posisi humanitas masyarakat prasejarah Indonesia dalam konteks perkembangan budaya Prasejarah Asia Tenggara, sehingga dapat dijadikan pijakan tentang strategi pengembangan kebudayaan di masa datang. Kata-kata kunci: prasejarah, Asia Tenggara, arkeologi, strukturalisme, Levi-StraussAbstract. Post-processual archaeology and the structural perspective of Levi-Strauss could help prehistorian to explain the position and the role of Indonesian pre-history in the wave of Southeast Asian Prehistory. Pre-historians and historians should look prehistory at an anthropological level of analysis. The cultural transformation will show that the prehistoric-cultural phases appropriate with the cognitive level of the spirit of age. This will be interpreted that the position of Indonesian prehistoric society in the context of regional area is open-minded people. They will receive the foreign culture and transform it into the habitual life, therefore the prehistoric society could be equalized with the cognitive man at present. Abstrak: pada masa kini, permasalahan pembangunan bangsa menjadi isu utama dalam masyarakat. Korupsi, pelanggaran pajak, aksi anarkis, kekerasan, pemboman adalah indikator untuk membangun karakter. Secara teoretis, faktor utamanya adalah kekeliruan dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Tujuannya adalah mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam sejarah lokal Malang yang dimulai dari masa pra-aksara sampai abad ke 11 Hindu-Budha. Metode dikonstruksi melalui makna dari draft sejarah lokal Malang sebagai usaha dalam meningkatkan pembangunan karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banyak makna pendidikan dari pembangunan karakter yang dapat dieksplorasi melalui sejarah lokal Malang yang dimulai dari masa pra-aksara hingga abad ke-11 periode Hindu-Budha. Abstract: Nowadays, the problem of national character to be main issues in society. Corruption, tax evation, anarchist action, violence, crime, bomb explosion are indicators to build the national character. Theoretically, the host factor is the incorrect historical learning. This aim is to explore educational values of national character on local history of Malang beginning from pre-literary history to the 11st century of Hindu-Budha period. The method was constructed by revealing meaning and values from the local history of Malang as an effort of national character improvement. The finding shows that many educational values of national character to be able explored through the local history of Malang beginning between pre-literary history and the 11st century of Hindu-Budha period.

Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of interactive learning models on student cognitive learning outcomes, determine the effect of social skills on students 'cognitive learning outcomes, and determine the effect of interaction between interactive learning models and social skills on students' cognitive learning outcomes in history learning in high school. This research was a quasi-experimental with factorial design. The research samples were class X IPS 2 as an experimental class and class X IPS 3 as a control at SMAN 1 Gondanglegi. The research instruments were test, questionnaire, and learning implementation observation sheet. Data analysis technique was two-way ANOVA. The results of this research shows that there is is impact on the use of interactive learning models on student cognitive learning outcomes, there is impact of students' social skills on student cognitive learning outcomes, and there is impact of the interaction between interactive learning models and social skills on student cognitive learning outcomes.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran interaktif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa, mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan sosial terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa, dan mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran interaktif dan keterampilan sosial terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siwa dalam pembelajaran sejarah di SMA. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IPS 3 sebagai kelas kontrol di SMAN 1 Gondanglegi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes, angket, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan anova dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran interaktif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa, ada pengaruh keterampilan sosial terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan ada pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran interaktif dan keterampilan sosial terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
