Abstract

Abstract: Bahtsul masail is a scientific forum conducted by santri and Kyai to discuss vary of society problems, including religious, economical, political and social problems. The interesting phenomenon of this forum is the existence of yellow book (kitab kuning) as main reference in every decision making. The reuslts of Bahstul matsail are heterogen and dinamics that means many problems can be given its way out based on their reason and reference book. The main basic of thinking in decision making is goodness for people without neglecting rules of religious standard. It is viewed as moral obligation of Kyai and Santri thorought Pesantren as religious tradisional institution to mantain society situation and condition in order to approriate with religious norms.

Abstract

Abstract: There are many writings of pesantren (Islamic Boarding School), but only few of them have approprite standart of history writing (historiography). In spite of its independent mozaik, the story of pesantren has been recorded since its born It is necessary to investigate it deeper in term of methodological perspective, because pesantren as a enclave gives picture about journey of a society culture. The well done historiography of pesantren will give contribution to understand pesantren community rightly.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang menyebabkan perkembangan kebutuhan, menuntut semua bidang pendidikan melakukan penyesuaian, termasuk untuk pendidikan mata bidang Sejarah. Meskipun pembelajaran di bidang Sejarah identik dengan masa lalu dan perspektif konvensional namun bukan berarti pembelajaran yang dilakukan tidak dapat menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi. Bahkan kebutuhan pembelajaran Sejarah akan perkembangan teknologi juga cukup tinggi. Banyak inovasi media pembelajaran di bidang Sejarah telah dilakukan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Pelatihan yang dilakukan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Tim Dosen Universitas Negeri Malang ini menekankan pada peningkatan kapasitas Guru Sejarah dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran terutama yang berbasis augmented reality. Dari hasil pelatihan ini dapat diketahui bahwa mayoritas peserta belum pernah mempelajari dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis AR, setelah mengikuti pelatihan, mereka mampu untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran sesuai dengan target kegiatan. Lebih lanjut, meskipun kendala teknis tidak dapat dihindari, para peserta yang merupakan para anggota MGMP Sejarah Kabupaten Malang antusias terhadap pemanfaatan AR dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran dan menghendaki diadakannya pelatihan lanjutan.

Abstract

Soal USPBK yang disusun sendiri oleh guru mata pelajaran sejarah belum diketahui apakah sudah memenuhi standar atau belum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas soal USPBK SMAN 2 Kota Probolinggo mata pelajaran sejarah tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 pada tingkat kesukaran, validitas, reliabilitas, efektivitas pengecoh, dan daya pembeda soal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan mixed method (metode campuran), dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi, dan teknik analisis deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan dua program komputer dalam menganalisis butir soal, yaitu SPSS dan ITEMAN MicroCAT Version 3.00. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa soal masuk dalam kategori baik pada beberapa kategori analisis, yaitu validitas soal, reliabilitas soal, dan daya pembeda soal. Sedangkan pada tingkat kesukaran dan efektivitas pengecoh perlu ada peninjauan kembali agar diperoleh soal dengan kategori baik pula.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia since mid-March 2020 and caused changes to various fields. One of the areas affected is education. Learning activitiess that were originally done face-to-face or directly, are now turning into distance learning or online learning. In the study of history, especially local history, online learning experienced quite complex challenges.  This research aims to analyze the problems or challenges experienced by history teachers in East Java in developing life-based history learning designs. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The subject of this study is a high school history teacher in East Java. Data collection techniques are carried out using observations, interviews and documentary studies. Data analysis is done by collecting data reduction data, presenting data and verifying the resulting data. As a result, there are obstacles faced by teachers and make learning designs such as doing learning planning, determining, material, choosing media, teaching materials to learning resources. The solution to the challenges faced is to make adjustments to existing conditions by making local history learning designs based online. The initial stage is to analyze basic competencies on the syllabus. The second stage is to determine the indicator of competency achievement (ICA). After the teacher has a ICA, it can determine the material, media, learning resources to learning strategies to create local history learning based on life.

Abstract

Indonesian history learning curriculum hopes student historical thinking ability can be developed after the learning occured. Discussion focus of this article is history learning process in SMA N 1 Malang and student historical thinking ability. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Research process is done by looking for data about research focus. The gotten data then explained and analyzed to explain research focus. Conclusion in this research is history learning in SMA N 1 Malang is in accordance with the valid curriculum. History learning that occures also able to develop student historical thinking ability. Abstract

Abstract. Teaching of history has been conducted by bad images for along time. The images of history teaching are as recalling, not interesting, unpleasant, and boring lesson. Based on reasoning of urgent role of history lesson as nation character building for students, there is need to change this condition. Mind set of teacher as responsible actor has to be changed from pragmatic to idealist paradigm. History teaching process has to be shifted form the orientation of curriculum material finishing to the real goal attainment, that is the arising of historical consciousness for students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Gagak Rimang adalah nama kuda jantan dari Arya Penangsang, pen-guasa Jipang Panolan. Semasa hidupnya Arya Penangsang terlibat konflik dengan Jaka Tingkir (penguasa Pajang, sekarang Solo) terkait dengan daerah Demak. Kisah ini yang kemudian menjadi dongeng masyarakat Desa Jipang dan diceritakan dari satu generasi ke generasi berikutnya. Tulisan ini akan berupaya mengupas cara kerja dari teori hermeunetik; aplikasi dari teori hermeunetik trans-formatif, reifikasi, dan gender dalam dongeng Gagak Rimang; dan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam dongeng Gagak Rimang serta bagaimana cara pena-naman nilai karakter pada masyarakat di Desa Jipang. Dongeng berguna dalam mengembangkan kesadaran sejarah pada generasi penerus sehingga mampu men-jadi pribadi yang berkarakter baik dalam hidup bermasyarakat.Kata-kata kunci: Arya Penangsang, Gagak Rimang, Pendidikan KarakterAbstract: Gagak Rimang is the male horse of Arya Penangsang, the regent of Ji-pang Panolan. The life of Arya Penangsang faced a conflict with Jaka Tingkir, the king of Pajang related the area of Demak. This story becomes a tale of Jipang society and is delivered from one generation to the next generation. This article discusses the theory of hermeneutics, the implementation of transformative her-meneutics, reification, and gender in a tale of Gagak Rimang; and the values of the character building in the tale of Gagak Rimang, in addition, some ways to shape character building values in Jipang society. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve capability of critical thingking of the student which relates to historical local figure of South Borneo. The realization of this research is research and develpoment (R&D). The explanation of Ibnu Hadjar's figure was realized in the form of Ibnu Hadjar's biography teaching material supplement products for students of history education offering B class of 2019 as an experimental class and Offering A as a control class at Lambung Mangkurat University who were taking Local History courses. The stages in this study use the 4D model that is indicated by four components, namely identification, design, development, and dissemination. The results of product validation and assessment include learning media expert validators with a percentage of up to 77% and are categorized as feasible to be implemented. The assessment of the material experts obtained a percentage of 91% with the category very feasible to be implemented. Obtaining language validation reached a percentage of 82% and included in the category eligible to be implemented. The student's assessment of teaching material supplement products reaches a percentage of 93% with a very good category. Assessment of lecturers supporting Local History courses obtained a percentage of 85% and can be categorized as interesting. As for the results of the effectiveness of the process of implementing the supplementary product of Ibnu Hadjar's biography teaching material to improve the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class gained 82% percentage. This is very different from the results of students' critical thinking skills in the control class that were not given and implemented biography teaching material supplement products Ibnu Hadjar. The percentage gained in the control class only reached 56%.

Abstract

Abstract: Probelamtika faced by Bidikmisi students is very diverse, factors that affect not only from themselves, but the external factors and the surrounding environment. This research focuses on describing the problems faced by Bidikmisi students during the study period. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative case study approach. Data collection in this study uses observation, interviews and documentation. Subjects in this study were Bidikmisi students from 2013—2017. The results showed that each student has a different problem with other students in taking a period of study. For graduation, when compared to more Bidikmisi students who are not ontime.Abstrak: Problematika yang dihadapi mahasiswa bidikmisi sangatlah beragam, faktor yang memengaruhi bukan hanya dari diri sendiri, melainkan faktor eksternal dan lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai problematika yang dihadapi mahasiswa bidikmisi selama masa studi. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa bidikmisi dari angkatan 2013—2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap mahasiswa memiliki masalah yang berbeda dengan mahasiswa lainnya dalam menempuh masa studi. Untuk kelulusan, jika dibandingkan lebih banyak mahasiswa bidikmisi yang tidak tepat waktu.
