Abstract

Many people consume broiler chicken meat because it is a type of animal protein source. In order to investigate the factors influencing consumer decisions to purchase broiler carcass meat at Pasar Cibinong in Bogor Regency, this study set out to identify the characteristics of consumers of broiler carcass meat. A case study methodology and an accidental sampling technique are both used in this sort of research on 210 housewives who are purchasing chicken at Pasar Cibinong. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis and multiple logistic regression analysis of binary. The number of family members, family income, education level, price, location, and quality are the independent variables in this study. The dependent variable in this study is the consumer's decision to purchase broiler chickens. The findings demonstrated that a number of variables, including family size, income, level of education, cost, and location, simultaneously had a significant impact on consumers' decisions to buy broiler chicken at Pasar Cibinong. Broiler chicken purchase decisions in Pasar Cibinong are significantly influenced by the variable number of family members, price, and location.

Abstract

ABSTRACTHydroponic vegetables are an agricultural commodity that has promising business opportunities. Demand for hydroponic vegetables continues to increase due to increasing public awareness about healthy lifestyles. The study aimed to analyze the marketing mix and analyze the impact of marketing mix on the demand for hydroponic vegetables. The research was conducted in Forever Green Hydroponic Farm, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. This research used case study method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The sampling method used non-probability namely purposive sampling. The number of sample is 100 respondents who were end customers, aged 17 years and over, and had purchased hydroponic vegetables at Forever Green at least once. Secondary data collection was carried out using interview techniques with questionnaire tools and observation while primary data was obtained from various studies and relevant literature. The data analysis method used was descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The bebast variable in this study was the marketing mix which consists of product, price, distribution, and promotion while the terikatt variable used was the demand of hydroponic vegetables in Forever Green Hydroponic Farm. The results of this study showed that the variables of products, prices, places, and promotions simultaneously had a very significant effect on the hydroponic vegetable demand at Forever Green Hydroponic Farm. Partially the variables of product, price, and distribution have a significant effect on the hydroponic vegetable demand, while the variable of promotion has no effect on the hydroponic vegetable demand at Forever Green Hydroponic Farm.

Abstract

Melon production at PT Turrima Agro Mass fluctuates. This condition causes losses, the company needs to handle the risks that occur. This study aims to analyze the risk of melon production, risk events and agents and strategies for handling melon production risks. This study was conducted in November 2024, at PT Turrima Agro Mass, Sragen Regency. The location was determined purposively with the consideration that the company is engaged in agriculture and is located in an area that has horticultural crop production, one of the superior commodities of which is hydroponic melon. The research method used is a case study. The sample collection method uses purposive respondents consisting of 14 people as key informants. Data collection techniques are observation and interviews. Data analysis uses the Coefficient of Variation (CV) and the House of Risk (HOR) method. The results of the study are that the risk level at PT Turrima Agro Mass is classified as high with a CV of 19.17%. HOR Phase 1 identified 14 risk events and identified 14 risk sources. The priority sources of risk obtained are increased pests and diseases, extreme weather changes, leaves and stems attacked by pests and diseases, and suboptimal handling of pests and diseases. The risk management strategy obtained 7 strategies, namely the implementation of the Integrated Pest and Disease Control (PHPT) system, following weather developments and preparing mitigation, improving the quality of the workforce, optimizing melon land sanitation, determining the planting calendar according to weather and climate patterns, collaboration and exchange of information, selecting quality seeds.

Abstract

Leadership in modern organizations is becoming increasingly important as the complexity of business challenges increases. This study aims to identify the leadership styles implemented in the production division of PT Herba Emas Wahidatama Purbalingga and analyze the factors of democratic, autocratic, free leadership styles as well as education, experience and age that affect employee performance improvement. The research was conducted in February 2025 using a quantitative approach through saturated sampling technique with 96 production division employees as respondents. The results showed that the employees of the production division of PT Herba Emas Wahidatama have characteristics: the majority are male (99%), aged 31-40 years (36.5%), with a high school / vocational high school education level (57.3%), and length of work 1-3 years (33.3%). The dominant leadership style applied is the democratic style with an average value of 3.96, followed by the autocratic style with a value of 3.53, and the free style with a value of 3.37. The results of multiple regression analysis show that democratic, autocratic, and education level leadership styles have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with regression coefficient values of 0.160, 0.097, and 0.055, respectively, while free leadership style, work experience, and age have no significant effect. Simultaneously, all independent variables have a significant effect on employee performance with a determination value of 65.8%. PT Herba Emas Wahidatama needs to strategically integrate democratic and autocratic leadership styles, develop continuing education programs, and strengthen competency-based placement systems to optimize production division employee performance.

Abstract

The production risks of rose petals posed challenges faced by farmers in maintaining the quality and quantity of flower production. This study aimed to analyze the sources of production risk, the priority risk agents, and the implementation of risk mitigation strategies. The research was conducted in October - November 2024 in Desa Candi, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency, Central Java. The research method used was a case study approach, with a census technique used for sampling. The sampling for this study involved 17 rose petal farmers in Desa Candi, Bandungan District. Primary data collection methods included observation and interviews, while secondary data included production data from each harvest period, along with literature from previous researchers. Descriptive analysis was performed using the ARP formula, while quantitative analysis applied Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and House of Risk (HOR) methods, phases one and two. Based on the analysis results KV poin is 0,4491, that the highest production risk was roses and stems attacked by pests and diseases, with a severity value of 5.35. The highest occurrence value was recorded for fruit and trees attacked by pests and diseases, with a value of 6.41. Five risk agents were identified as priorities: increased pests and diseases, fruit and trees attacked by pests and diseases, suboptimal pest and disease management, rose tree mortality/reduction, and extreme or unpredictable weather changes. Five risk mitigation strategies were identified, including routine spraying and increasing pesticide doses, which proved very effective in reducing pest attacks and maintaining plant quality. Farmers adopted mechanical and chemical control methods for pest management, as well as monitoring and replanting as responses to unpredictable weather conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the level of soybean consumer satisfaction and map the relationship between the importance of a product attribute and the performance provided to consumers in the soybean business sector in Wiradesa District, Pekalongan Regency. The research location was Irfan Jaya Store, Wiradesa District, Pekalongan Regency. The research method used is a case study method, with the sample size determined using quota sampling. The sampling technique applied is accidental sampling, with respondent criteria including men and women aged 18–67 years. The analytical methods used are the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The study showed that most soybean consumers at Irfan Jaya Store are male, aged 28–37 years, with junior high school as their highest level of education. The majority of soybean consumers are traders, with an income ranging from Rp. 1,000,001 – 2,000,000, and have four to six family members. The CSI analysis results in a value of 81.63%, indicating that soybean consumers are very satisfied. The IPA analysis results show: Quadrant I: Soybean taste, freshness, colour, price at Irfan Jaya Store, and price-quality suitability. Quadrant II: Soybean availability, store location on the roadside, and accessibility of the store. Quadrant III: Soybean texture, soybean variety, price comparison between Irfan Jaya Store and other stores, and information about soybean availability. Quadrant IV: Completeness of soybean variety and waiting time for soybean availability.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aimed to determine the influence of product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence on local fruit consumer satisfaction at Istana Buah Sultan Agung. The method used in this research was quantitative with case studies. The choice of research location was carried out purposively with the consideration that Istana Buah Sultan Agung was one of the largest fruit shops in the city of Semarang. The data source in this research was primary data originating from the sample, namely visitors to the Istana Buah. Data collection was carried out using interview techniques by distributing questionnaires to 160 respondents. The data analysis used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research showed that the variables 1) product had no significant effect on consumer satisfaction, 2) price had no significant effect on consumer satisfaction, 3) place had a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, 4) promotion had no significant effect on consumer satisfaction, 5) people had a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, 6) process had no significant effect on consumer satisfaction, 7) physical evidence had no significant effect on consumer satisfaction, 8) place and people variables partially influenced customer satisfaction at Istana Buah Sultan Agung, Semarang City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of viral marketing, the use of boyband SEVENTEEN as a brand ambassador, and consumer characteristics such as age, gender, and education level on the purchase intention of Indomilk UHT milk products in Central Jakarta. The research was conducted online from November to December 2024, with respondents residing in Central Jakarta through social media platforms. The research method employed is a survey method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a sample size of 100 respondents based on specific criteria. The data analysis method used is descriptive quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that the respondent characteristics are predominantly from the age group of 17-24 years, female consumers, and those with a high school education. The findings show that the main variables (Viral Marketing and Brand Ambassador) and control variables (Age, Gender, and Education Level) have both simultaneous and partial effects on the purchase intention of Indomilk UHT milk in Central Jakarta

Abstract

Earthworm farming has quite good prospects. Earthworms have high economic value because they can be sold and generate profits for farmers, however the problem is that marketing is controlled by the company so that the price obtained by earthworm farmers who are partners of CV. Rumah Alam Jaya Organik is the price set according to the agreement. The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of earthworm farming partners of CV. Rumah Alam Jaya Organik and the factors that influence it. This research was conducted in November-December 2024 in Malang and its surroundings. The location was determined purposively with the consideration that Malang is the center of earthworm production in East Java Province because of the supportive climate and geographical conditions and there are companies engaged in the earthworm industry, namely CV. Rumah Alam Jaya Organik. The research method used was a census with 33 farmers as respondents. Data collection techniques were observation and interviews. Data analysis used income analysis, normality test, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed an average income of Rp 8.969.268/month and an average cost of Rp 4.076.453/month, so that the average income of the earthworm farming business of CV. Rumah Alam Jaya Organik partners was Rp 4.892.815/month with an average land area of 1.489 m2. The variables of labor and production volume had a significant effect on income, while the variables of land area, number of seeds, and amount of feed had no effect.

Abstract

The massive development of the mocaf noodle industry has increased the competitiveness of alternative food products with wheat flour products. This research aims to analyze costs and revenue, product added value, and identify internal and external factors to formulate a strategy for the development of Mie Hend's products in UMKM Mekarsari. The research was conducted in February – March 2025 at UMKM Mekarsari, Boyolali. The location determination is based on the consideration that UMKM Mekarsari are a producer of gluten-free mocaf noodles in Central Java. The research method uses the case study method. Sampling was done using purposive techniques and accidental techniques. Purposive technique to UMKM Mekarsari owners and representatives of the Central Java Provincial Food Security Office. Accidental technique to 20 consumers of Mie Hend's. Data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is descriptive quantitatively, including cost, revenue, and revenue analysis, Hayami method value-added analysis, and SWOT and QSPM methods for product development strategies. The results were obtained that UMKM Mekarsari incurred an average production cost of IDR 1,181,778/month and an average income of IDR 1,224,472/month throughout 2024. The added value of Mie Hend's products is relatively high, namely IDR 97,700/kg with a ratio of 81.42% for retail packaging and IDR 73,533/kg with a ratio of 81.70% for bulk packaging. Internal and external analysis through IFAS and EFAS matrices resulted in that Mie Hend's products are in quadrant I of the SWOT diagram which is ideal for implementing SO or aggressive strategies. The resulting alternative strategies are 1) regularly refreshing products to maintain product quality and consumer trust, 2) penetrating digital markets and partnerships, and 3) submitting cooperation with health institutions, especially related to autism. Prioritize strategy by penetrating the digital market and partnerships.
