Abstract

Hukum Coloumb merupakan bahan kajian yang diperoleh mahasiswa ketika menempuh matakuliah Fisika Dasar II. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal penerapan hukum Coloumb. Kesalahan dalam menentukan arah gaya Coloumb dialami oleh semua mahasiswa Fisika. Ditemukan bahwa ketidakpahaman konsep gaya Coloumb mempengaruhi kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah gaya Coloumb. Solusi penyelesaian bertahap penentuan arah vektor gaya dapat mengatasi masalah yang dialami mahasiswa.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran mikro berdampak pada kualitas pelaksanaan PPL di sekolah mitra. Model pembelajaran mikro perlu mempertimbangkan penguasaan materi mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaannya. Pada tahun 2012, mahasiswa diberikan kebebasan untuk memilih materi yang dikuasainya, sehingga secara tidak langsung penekanan terhadap penguasaan materi berkurang dan berdampak pada nilai rata-rata pemilihan materi ajar pada kegiatan PPL (2.75 untuk penilai guru dan 2.76 untuk penilai dosen) dan penguasaan materi pembelajaran (2,63 untuk penilai guru, dan 2,72 untuk penilai dosen) rendah dibandingkan dengan indiaktor lainnya. Pengajaran mikro yang berorientasi materi juga tidak membantu peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran mikro. Peningkatan kualitas matakuliah prasyarat pembelajaran mikro merupakan rekomendasi yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini.

Abstract

Hasil belajar pokok bahasan analisis vektor mahasiswa semester I P. Fisika semester I kurang dari 75.  Model inkuiri terbimbing diterapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa mahasiswa semester I gasal tahun akdemik (2015/2016) sejumlah 25 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian memberikan kesimpulan bahwa model inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pokok bahasan vektor non konten, pada siklus I (75,20) dan siklus II (76,52), sedangkan vektor berbasis konten  siklus I (68,36) menjadi  (69,40) pada siklus II. Aktivitas belajar mahasiswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I dan II dibandingkan dengan base line, walaupun pada siklus II mengalami penurunan dibandingkan dengan siklus I.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Jiwan tahun ajaran 2015/2016 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 20 siswa.Penelitian dilakukan selama 2 bulan yaitu dari bulan April sampai dengan bulan Mei 2016. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi untuk analisis data kualitatif, serta tes penilaian kognitif siswa sebagai analisis data kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil tes pada siklus I dan siklus II terjadi peningkatan yaitu nilai rata–rata kelas tes siklus I adalah 61,25  meningkat menjadi 77,80 pada tes siklus II. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stickterbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Jiwan.Kata Kunci: Hasil  Belajar, Fisika dan Talking Stick.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve students? physics creative thinking skills and conceptual understanding of grade 7 of Islamic Junior High School (MTs) Sunan Ampel Nganjuk. This research implemented Classroom Action Research (CAR) with one cycle of two meetings. Each cycle included the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 17 students of grade 7 of MTs Sunan Ampel Nganjuk First Semester Academic Year 2016/2017. The instruments of data collection in this study were in the form of essay tests (pre-test and post-test) to measure students' creative thinking skills. The results showed the average value of the creative thinking skills of the first cycle and the second cycle which were expressed by the average of N-Gain experienced an increase with the acquisition in the first cycle of 0.6 which was categorized as moderate and increased in the second cycle of 0.7 which was categorized as moderate. In cycle I the highest indicator of creative thinking was fluency, which is equal to 0.76 and the lowest indicator of creative thinking was originality with an N-gain value of 0.34, as well as in the cycle II The highest indicator of creative thinking was the fluency thinking skills which is equal to 0.81 and the lowest creative thinking indicator was the originality with an N-gain value of 0.48. The average value of physics conceptual understanding in the first and second cycles expressed by the average of N-Gain has increased with the acquisition in the first cycle of 0.47 which is categorized as moderate and increased in the second cycle of 0.60 which is categorized as medium. The results showed that the application of STEM-based inquiry can improve the grade 7 students? creative thinking skills and conceptual understanding of MTs Sunan Ampel Nganjuk.Keywords: guided inquiry, STEM, creative thinking skills, conceptual understanding

Abstract

Pengembangan media pembelajaran bermuatan konflik kognitif diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada mahasiswa yang menempuh kuliah Fisika Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan produk. Pengembangan media menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE Hasil evaluasi produk media untuk kelas kecil memberikan persentase 72,5 % (kelayakan tinggi), pakar media memberikan persentase 70,83% (kelayakan tinggi), dan pakar materi memberikan presentase kelayakan 57,14% (kelayakan sedang) kemudian diperbaiki menjadi 67,86% (kelayakan tinggi). Media pembelajaran bermuatan konflik kognitif yang telah dikembangkan mampu memereduksi miskonsepsi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Fisika Dasar dengan kategori Gain total Tinggi (0,800 untuk kelas kecil dan 0,81 untuk kelas pengguna). Abstract

This development research has a goal delevoping OASIS based module with the subject of work and energy to increase critical thinking skills of students. The development module contains the subject of work and energy, Oriented activities from an OASIS learning model (Orientation, Analysis, Synthesis, Investigation, Synergy), examples and exercises. The limited ADDIE model procedure which includes analysis, design, development, implementation. The development module is validated by 10 material and media experts. The results of validation are calculated using CVR and CVI calculations. CVI score of material experts is 0,8 and CVI score of media expers is 0,82, both of which are very suitable criteria. N-gain test was conduted in small classes to know the increase critical thinking skills of students. The n-gain result of critical thinking skill test was 0,66 in moderate category. Pretest homogenity test with Sig 0,535 and posttest homogeneity with Sig 0,678 greater than alpha 0,05. Meanwhile pretest normality test with Sig 0,638 and posttest normality test with Sig 0,180 greater than alpha 0,05. The t test paired sample test to know there’s an average difference in pretest and posttest , the value Sig 0,000 smaller than alpha 0,05. Meanwhile the result of student responses showed 73,3% in good category. In conclusion, effectiveness of the application of an OASIS based physics module is able to increase critical thinking skills of students.Keywords: Module, OASIS Based, Critical Thinking Skill

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the use of assisted virtual laboratories of Electronic Workbench (EWB) in physics experiments learning. The method in this study used (1) calibration of the results of experiments with theory and (2) analysis of user responses to EWB in practicum activities. The study concluded that: 1) EWB is easy to use for practical learning, 2) capacitive reactance values obtained from calculations and observations following the theory (close to the same), 3) the time needed for one-time trial data retrieval until the analysis phase in this practicum activity is 10 minutes means that the experiment with EWB is very efficient. Based on the results obtained indicate that EWB is feasible to use as an alternative to physics learning in the mass pandemic COVID-19.

Abstract

Abstract. The factors that must play a role in the success of learning today are mastery of the material, pedagogic skills, and digital literacy skills for teachers. In practice, more dominant pedagogic skills are mastered by the teacher. The solution that universities can do is to provide training that aims to improve material mastery and digital literacy. The method of implementing the training through 8 stages, namely: (1) Pretest, (2) Pretest Analysis, (3) FGD and Solutions, (4) Designing Training Materials, (5) Material Deepening Training, (6) Digital Technology Training, (7) Posttest, and (8) Reflection and Evaluation. The results for physics teachers from several MAN and Vocational Schools in Madiun City have an impact on (1) increasing mastery of physics concepts/content knowledge (kinematics, dynamics, and electrical circuits) materials and (2) increasing teacher skills in digital literacy. Abstrak. Faktor yang sangat berperan dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran saat ini adalah penguasaan materi, kemampuan pedagogik, dan kemampuan literasi digital bagi guru. Dalam praktiknya, keterampilan pedagogik lebih dominan dikuasai oleh guru. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan perguruan tinggi adalah memberikan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan materi dan literasi digital. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan melalui 8 tahapan, yaitu: (1) Pretest, (2) Pretest Analysis, (3) FGD dan Solusi, (4) Merancang Materi Pelatihan, (5) Pelatihan Pendalaman Materi, (6) Pelatihan Teknologi Digital, (7) Posttest, dan (8) Refleksi dan Evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan pada guru fisika dari beberapa MAN dan SMK di Kota Madiun telah berdampak pada (1) peningkatan penguasaan materi konsep/isi pengetahuan fisika (kinematika, dinamika, dan rangkaian listrik) dan (2) peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam literasi digital.
