Rukun Tetangga (RT) role as the smallest unit in the hierarchical structure of Regional Government is very important in guarding and preserving the norm and values of Indonesian people. However, in the management and services delivery at RT level various problems could be happened, such as the long services delivery time, lack of Government and local RT program socialization, and lack of the committee members support facility. A solution offered to solve these problems is by creating e-RT application that can support the services performance of RT officer as well as a means to distribute various Government and RT programs. The Community Service Program (PKM) was then be proposed and implemented with an eight months-time planning. This program got a positive support, both from the UMN Research and Community Service Institution (LPPM UMN) and the community that become the partner for this program, i.e., RT 06 in Periuk village, Periuk subdistrict, Tangerang City. The final result of this program is an e-RT application based on mobile web app, which can be easily accessed by all community members. In this article, the application evaluation is described by referring the WEBQUAL 4.0 instrument with 80.29% result.

Plagiarism is an act that is considered by the university as a fraud by taking someone ideas or writings without mentioning the references and claimed as his own. Plagiarism detection system is generally implement string matching algorithm in a text document to search for common words between documents. There are some algorithms used for string matching, two of them are Rabin-Karp and Jaro-Winkler Distance algorithms. Rabin-Karp algorithm is one of compatible algorithms to solve the problem of multiple string patterns, while, Jaro-Winkler Distance algorithm has advantages in terms of time. A plagiarism detection application is developed and tested on different types of documents, i.e. doc, docx, pdf and txt. From the experimental results, we obtained that both of these algorithms can be used to perform plagiarism detection of those documents, but in terms of their effectiveness, Rabin-Karp algorithm is much more effective and faster in the process of detecting the document with the size more than 1000 KB.

Each food consumed by people contains a number of calories needed by the body to perform an activity. Calories can be described as fuel of engine to move and carry out tasks. Public’s indifference to the food consumed can cause some negative effects on health like, too skinny, obesity, and emergence of various diseases. Therefore, it is necessary to have an application which can provide some information about the calorie needs, so that user can control the calorie intake. This paper describes the development of an application to assist user in controlling calorie intake according to the calorie needs. This application supports voice control feature to improve user comfort in performing certain commands and inputting food consumed. In addition, this application also uses Levenshtein Distance algorithm to correct food recognition errors which is spoken by user. This application is developed using Java programming language for Android with SQLite database.

Design Principles dibuat untuk memodifikasi dan memformalkan pengetahuan tentang desain. Salah satu bentuk dari penerapan desain adalah dalam pembuatan User Interface / User Experience (UI/UX). Design Principles sendiri bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dasar dalam penerapan aturan desain. Dalam proses pembelajaran dan pemahaman konsep Design Principles ini tidak selalu mudah untuk diikuti. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membangun dan merancang aplikasi pembelajaran Design Principles dengan kerangka gamifikasi Octalysis yang dikembangkan oleh Yu-Kai Chou. Aplikasi pembelajaran tergamifikasi berhasil dibangun berbasis mobile Android. Untuk mengevaluasi hasil penggunaan aplikasi, tingkat Behavioral Intention to Use dan Focused Immersion dari aplikasi diukur menggunakan Hedonic-Motivation System Adoption Model (HMSAM). Aplikasi ini telah diuji oleh 30 responden dengan presentase 84,22% pada aspek Behavioral Intention to Use dan presentase 73,33% pada aspek Focused Immersion.

Bulletin board is a medium for sharing information in Multimedia Nusantara University. However, feasibility study showed that bulletin board is not effective to be used as a medium for information dissemination in UMN. Apart from the user side, the development of UMN campus building also become an obstacle in using traditional bulletin board. NFC technology is a type of short-range wireless technology, which widely been used in developed countries in everyday life. One concrete manifestation of NFC technology implementation is Smart Poster. Therefore, based on feasibility study that had been done, the design of Mobile Bulletin system for implementing Smart Poster with NFC technology and Salt Tokenization method is made. This paper has succeeded to make the design of the overall system architecture and user interaction overview. The proposed architecture design shows that this system can solve conventional bulletin board problem, both for students and administrators.

Movies are getting more popular as time goes by. This improvement in popularity is followed by the improvement of society’s interest in watching movies. However, with this improvement in movie’s world, the number of movies continues to increase over time, so the people need information that could help in determining the movie to watch. The result of trial scenario that has been done shows that K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm have successfully applied to the application. According to users’s satisfaction test, it’s known that users’s satisfaction with the recommender system that has been built reached 82.6%. The result of reliability test that using Cronbach Alpha reached 0.7, so it’s concluded that the questionnaire is reliable. Validation test that has been done also showed that the questionnaire is valid.

Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) adalah gangguan yang berkembang pada seseorang karena mengalami peristiwa yang mengejutkan, menakutkan, atau berbahaya. Sayangnya saat ini masih minim pengetahuan masyarakat Indonesia terhadap kesehatan mental sehingga banyak yang tidak mengetahui gejala apa yang telah dialami dan seberapa jauh efek yang sudah terjadi akibat gangguan mental tersebut. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah membuat sistem pakar yang dapat melakukan diagnosa awal gangguan PTSD. Metode forward chaining dimanfaatkan dalam sistem pakar guna mengumpulkan gejala-gejala yang dialami oleh pengguna, mengolahnya berdasarkan basis aturan hingga mencapai kesimpulan. Metode pengembangan sistem pakar yang digunakan adalah Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC) dan pengukuran tingkat kegunaan (Usability) sistem yang dibangun dinilai dengan menggunakan USE questionnaire. Pengujian keakuratan sistem dilakukan bersama pakar yang menunjukkan kesesuaian antara hasil pakar dan hasil sistem. Dari pengukuran tingkat Usability didapatkan hasil sebesar 86.67% yang menunjukkan sistem berguna dalam melakukan diagnosa awal PTSD. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem pakar ini dapat menjadi sebuah solusi dalam memberi kemudahan akses untuk melakukan diagnosa awal gangguan PTSD.

Respiratory diseases are illnesses that attacks the respiratory organ system in humans. Unfortunately, the general public does not realize that symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing and others can become serious illnesses if not treated promptly. Therefore, an expert system designed for early diagnosis of respiratory diseases was developed in this research. The Certainty Factor method is applied in this expert system in the form of a website-based software. From the results of the black box testing, it was concluded that the system can provide accurate diagnosis results. Furthermore, the final evaluation by users using the Technology Acceptance Model yielded a result of 89.21%, showing that the developed system can be accepted by users in diagnosing respiratory diseases effectively.

The implementation of restrictions on community activities (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat – PPKM) is a strategy from the Indonesian government in handling the spread of COVID-19. PPKM is divided into four levels which will determine the restriction types that are to be implemented in a region. In this study, we aim to build a website that can predict PPKM levels through COVID-19 daily positive and death cases recorded in the Jakarta City, Indonesia. The prediction system uses the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network and Node.JS as the backend of the website. We also introduced the usage of multivariate approach for this regression task by combining both daily positive and death cases number into the LSTM network. Based on the test scores obtained through evaluation using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), it was concluded that the proposed LSTM method could accurately predict the death cases with 0.17% MAPE and 22.68 RMSE but has poor performance in predicting the daily positive cases with 53.11% MAPE and 27.15 RMSE. This might be rooted from the use of multivariate approach during the model development where more variation to the daily positive cases was detected.
