Abstract

ABSTRACTCovid-19 has an impact on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), so efforts are needed to maintain MSME productivity during the pandemic for the stability of the income of the perpetrators. Through continuous programs to foster a business mentality and culture, product design creativity, absorption of technological advances, as well as managerial knowledge and skills that are in line with the demands of a constantly changing business environment. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training on entrepreneurship to business actors and the community so that they can run their business and be able to compete in order to achieve prosperity. From the results of the implementation of Community Service, the training participants responded positively and looked satisfied. Some of the efforts that can be made by MSMEs for the Usaha Kerupuk Gurih Cahaya to increase their income are by learning more details about technology, providing good service to consumers and paying attention to the quality of the products to be sold to consumers. In addition, we also recommend survival strategies that MSMEs can do by trading through e-commerce, digital marketing, adding services to consumers, optimizing marketing relationships with consumers, and maintaining products and maintaining existing customers.Keyword : Covid-19, UMKM, Pendapatan dan Strategi

Abstract

Plastic waste produced every day becomes very influential to the survival ofnot only humans, but also to animals and plant. One of the steps to protect the environment from plastic waste is to by utilizing it into something that has value added that can be profit. The resulting plastic waste can be processed into products that can be used daily or can be marketed. Plastic waste utilization situation has two positive impact that is the first is able to reduce environmental pollution and the second is able to produce products/goods that have a selling value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisa pendekatan trade openness dan Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesa baik secara jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Dengan data time series periode tahun 1990 sampai tahun 2018, dengan jumlah n sebanyak 28 tahun. Pendekatan analisis yang digunakan yaitu Auto Regressive Distributed Lag Model (ARDL). Diperoleh hasil regresi dalam jangka pendek trade openness dan foreign direct investment tidak mempunyai pengaruh pada pertumbuhan ekonomi. Dalam jangka panjang trade openness dan FDI berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Kepada para pengambil kebijakan diharapkan untuk memberikan berbagai kebijakan yang memudahkan jalannya investasi di Indonesia sehingga Indonesia dapat mengoptimalkan pemulihan ekonomi dengan rekonstruksi investasi labour intensive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan observasi potensi wilayah pesisir, berupa komoditas Kerang Lokan. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui valuasi ekonomi kawasan pesisir dengan pendekatan sosioekonomi penjual Kerang Lokan Kabupaten Aceh Barat, sehingga menjadi probabilitas bagi rumah tangga pesisir dan menjadi add value maupun multiplier effect dalam menjalankan dan mengembangkan usaha mikro bagi masyarakat pesisir secara umum. Metode analisis menggunakan diskriptif yang didapati dengan cara wawancara dan observasi langsung. Dalam pengambilan data yang berjenis crossection ini, menggunakan total sampling sebanyak 27 orang para penjual kerang yang ada di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan variabel sosioekonomi; pendapatan, harga, modal, pendidikan penjual kerang, lama berusaha hingga jumlah anggota keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan penjual Kerang Lokan tertinggi ada di KecamatanJohan Pahlawan yakni mencapai Rp 300.000-Rp 900.000 per hari. Dari 12 kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Aceh Barat, masyarakat pesisir yang konsisten memanfaatkan komoditas Kerang Lokan untuk dijual hanya terdapat di beberapa Kecamatan saja, yakni: Johan Pahlawan (8 orang); Meureubo (2 orang); Kaway XVI (1 orang); Samatiga (3 orang); dan yang paling banyak dijumpai yakni Kecamatan Arongan Lambalek (13 orang). Abstract

In this study, the purpose of the research was to  see the development anda development of patchouli on the welfare of the commonity. This research was conducted in Ujong Blang Village and Blang Baro Rambong Village, Beutong District, Nagan Raya Regency. The problem is with the develpoment of patchuli , it is hoped that is can improve the commodity’s economy because there is still a large area of abandonedland with fertile soil being one of the very good potentials for patchuoli. In this study, researchers used qualitative methods, which collected data through primary and secondary data. The method used in descriptive method. Secondary data was obtained from the regional development planning agency and primary data was obtained  by direct interviews with patchuoli farmers. The respondent in this study consisted of internal. Parties, namely the Village head of Ujong Blang Village and Blang Baro Rambong Village. External parties, namery the head of the economy development planning division of the regional development planning agency of Nagan Raya Regency. Basd of the result of research on the development of the patchuoli commodity on the welfare of the commodity, the benefits can a better standard of living.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat melalui pengembangan keterampilan wirausaha berbasis potensi lokal, khususnya dalam pengolahan ikan menjadi bakso ikan. Sasaran kegiatan adalah ibu rumah tangga Gampong Drien Tujoh Kecamatan Tripa Makmur Nagan Raya yang belum memiliki keterampilan pengolahan hasil perikanan secara optimal. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terkait manfaat ikan, teknik pengolahan, serta peluang usaha yang dapat dikembangkan. Selain itu, peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dalam proses produksi serta meningkatnya motivasi untuk memulai usaha mandiri. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat berbasis potensi lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to examine determinants such as economic growth and district/city minimum wages on labor absorption in the MSME sector in West Aceh Regency. The selection of MSMEs is based on their important contribution to regional and national economic development, especially through job creation and income equality. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis methods using secondary data from 2000-2024. Empirical results show that economic growth and minimum wages statistically have a positive and significant effect on labor absorption, both partially and simultaneously. The regression model meets all the criteria of classical assumptions and produces an adjusted R² value of 0.749, indicating that around 74.9% of the variability in labor absorption can be attributed to the two independent variables. These results underscore the need for a regional-based economic strategy that emphasizes sustainable growth and well-calibrated wage policies to encourage a healthy entrepreneurial environment and long-term labor market development in the MSME sector.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the transformation of payment system across various economic sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, the adoption of Digital Payment in west Aceh Regency, particularly in Johan Pahlawan District, remains limited despite its potential to enhance transaction efficiency and business income. The purpose of this research is to examine how Digital Payment adoption impacts the income of MSMEs in Johan Pahlawan District. Employing a quantitative methodology, primary data were gathered via questionnaires distributed to 100 MSME operators who utilize Digital Payment systems. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression, revealing that the implementation of Digital Payment exerts a significant and positive influence on MSME revenues These findings suggest that increased utilization of Digital Payment systems can support income growth among MSMEs, although its contribution is not yet dominant. Therefore, Digital Payment can be concluded as one of the supporting factors in improving MSMEs income performance at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the specialization of economic sectors in Nagan Raya Regency using the Location Quotient (LQ) method and to examine its correlation with regional economic growth. The LQ method is employed to identify leading (basic) sectors that possess higher comparative competitiveness than those at the regional or national level. Furthermore, the study analyzes how the development of these basic sectors contributes to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and other economic growth indicators in Nagan Raya Regency. Based on the Location Quotient analysis, the results for 2024 indicate that there are three sectors categorized as basic or leading sectors, namely the mining and quarrying sector, the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector, and the other services sector. The remaining sectors are classified as non-basic or non-leading local sectors because their LQ values are below 1. These sectors include: (1) manufacturing industry; (2) electricity and gas supply; (3) water supply, waste management, and recycling; (4) construction; (5) wholesale and retail trade, and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; (6) transportation and warehousing; (7) accommodation and food service activities; (8) information and communication; (9) financial and insurance services; (10) real estate; (11) business services; (12) public administration, defense, and social security; (13) education services; and (14) health and social services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of education, type of occupation, expenditure, and environmental perception on household income in West Aceh Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques in three districts, namely Johan Pahlawan District, Meureubo District, and Kaway XVI District. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. A series of linear regression analyses were used to analyze the data with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results showed that partially, education, type of occupation, and environmental perception had a positive and significant effect on household income, while expenditure had a negative and significant effect on household income. Simultaneously, education, type of occupation, expenditure, and environmental perception had a significant effect on household income in West Aceh Regency. These findings suggest that household income can be increased through improved education, job training, and more effective household expenditure management. Therefore, to improve household welfare in West Aceh Regency, the local government must promote programs to improve education and job training and create an environment that supports community economic activity.
