Abstract

COVID-19 has spread and has become a pandemic in almost all of the world, including in Indonesia. In Indonesia, this virus was first announced on March 2, 2020, until March 14 to 27, 2020, a total of 77,261 cases were identified. In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19, the Indonesian government has made several policies that are expected to suppress the spread of this virus. Cluster analysis is a technical class, used to classify objects or cases into relatively homogeneous (same) groups called clusters. The type of data used is secondary data on COVID-19 in districts/cities of West Sumatra Province obtained from the West Sumatra Provincial Health Office and the COVID-19 task force website, where the data obtained is cumulative data from March 2020 to July 14, 2021. Optimization the number of K clusters using the elbow method to produce K=3, the results of the K-means cluster analysis with the number of K=3 concluded that the distance of members in the cluster is low and the distance between clusters is large

Abstract

Good learning tools will make students have good mathematical reasoning abilities. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. Preliminary observations aimed to find, review and explain (1) the mathematical reasoning abilities of students at SMAN (2) the conditions and forms of learning tools used and developed by teachers (3) as a basic consideration in continuing research on the development of learning tools based on contextual approaches in improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The results of observations made at SMAN 12 Padang, it was found that the learning tools used were not maximally related to contextual matters, so that the learning that students went through was less meaningful. The learning tools used are still somewhat general and less able to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. An approach that can accommodate learning tools so that related learning is more meaningful is the contextual approach. Based on this, follow-up is needed in the form of research on the development of contextual-based learning tools to improve the mathematical reasoning abilities of high school students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Online compulsive buying disorder is a disorder of impulse control when shopping online, so that a person becomes uncontrollable when shopping online and is done repeatedly with a large number of purchases and not so useful. The purpose of this study is to analyze the mathematical model of the spread of online compulsive buying disorder. The method used is the descriptive method. Based on the analysis of the mathematical model of the spread of online compulsive buying disorder, one equilibrium point was obtained, where all eigenvalues of the Jacobi matrix were negative, so that the equilibrium point of the mathematical model of the spread of online compulsive buying disorder was stable asymptotic. This suggests that the spread of online compulsive buying behavior will go towards the equilibrium point over time.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy is a skill that students must have in the independent curriculum (kurikulum merdeka). But in reality, the numeracy literacy skills of Indonesian students are generally low at every level of education. Because in the independent curriculum (kurikulum merdeka) the learning applied is the Differentiated Learning, it needs to be adapted to the learning style of the learners. For this reason, teachers must obtain an overview of the numeracy literacy skills and learning styles of students. The purpose of this research is to describe the numeracy literacy skills of junior high school students in terms of their learning styles. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students spread across six public junior high schools. The instruments used were questionnaires and numeracy literacy tests. The data obtained were processed using two-way analysis of variance. From the results of the study it was found that in general the numeracy literacy skills of junior high school students were still low. There is no difference in the numeracy literacy skills of students based on learning styles but there are differences between schools. Learners with auditory style have better ability than visual and kinesthetic.

Abstract

The study is done because school has not yet had teaching modules that could facilitate numerical literacy ability. The purpose of this study is to produce cps teaching modules that can enhance valid, practical, and effective numerical literacy capabilities in ratio and proportion materials, as well as line and Angle materials. The teaching module can be used at middle school/MTs, researchers can deliver this product to other schools that need it. This research methodology uses development research methods. This study's methodologies included research and development. The educate module is developed utilizing a plomp (preliminary research, development or prototype, and absorbed phases). The preparatory step entails an assessment of needs, curriculum, concepts, and learners. The development stage contains prototypes I, II, III, and IV. The module has been deemed legitimate based on a 3.5 average for materials, language, and humanities. Next, based on the value module evaluations completed by learners and educators, they produce an average of 84.51 and 92.31 with practical criteria. Then the results of the mathematical numerical literacy capability test are obtained by an average of 85% with qualified criteria, this means that the teaching module based creative problems solving are effective to enhance the mathematical numerical literacy ability of learners. The results showed that the teaching module based on creative problems solving to improve mathematical numerical literacy ability is valid, pratis, and effective.
