Abstract

PT. PEC – TECH Service Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang memberikan beragam jasa logistic dan supply chainuntuk grup dan juga melayani klien external (untuk operasional Crane), dan itu tidak terlepas dari masalah yangberhubungan dengan efektivitas peralatan mesin yang di akibatkan oleh six big losses. Hal ini dapat terlihat denganfrekuensi kerusakan yang terjadi pada peralatan mesin, karena kerusakan tersebut target tidak tercapai. TotalProductive Maintenance (TPM) merupakan suatu sistem pemeliharaan dan perbaikan. Penelitian ini melakukanpengamatan secara langsung mengenai system perawatan mesin, memberikan usulan perbaikan terhadap sistemperawatan dengan menerapkan sistem pencegahan menggunakan metode TPM yang terdiri dari variabel totalefektifitas, dan menghitung serta menganalisanya. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh masih besarnya laju kerusakan mesin,tingginya jam henti mesin, dan rendahnya nilai-nilai efektifitas (efektifitas ketersediaan mesin (AV), efektifitasproduksi (PE), efektifitas tingkat kualitas (RQ), dan efektifitas keseluruhan mesin dan peralatan). Diharapkan denganpenggunaan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) ini umur pakai mesin dapat diperpanjang sehingga kerugiannyata vs kerugian terselubung akibat six big losses dapat diminimalisirkan dan perusahaan dapat meningkatkanmutu pelayanannya seperti penambahan peralatan

Abstract

Turbine Bearing is a piece of equipment used to keep the shaft rotating about its axis or to keep a linearly moving component on track. The operation at PLTA Maninjau also makes use of a Turbine Bearing with a Journal Bearing type. The turbine bearing of the Maninjau hydropower plant experienced an abnormality, with the bearing temperature rising from 60°C to 80°C. Using the fishbone diagram method and failure mode and effects analysis, the authors conducted a root cause analysis of the causes of the increase in turbine bearing temperature in this study (FMEA). The cause of the increase in. The cause of the increase in the temperature of the turbine bearing unit 2 of the Maninjau Hydropower Plant was found to be a misalignment caused by a small bearing clearance of 0.2 mm, which should have been 0.4 mm according to the design value, after conducting research using the observation method through data collection and data processing. And reduced cooling water effectiveness from 18.41% to 1.15%. As a result, corrective maintenance on Maninjau Hydropower Unit 2 is required.

Abstract

In a new Honda Jazz car, there is a rotten smell coming from inside the AC cabin, the temperature is not cold and causes the windshield to fog up. The purpose of the research is to find out the causes of damage to the AC system and appropriate maintenance actions. The method used is primary data, namely by direct inspection it is known that the refrigerant parameters are low on the pressure gauge manifold device on both sides LO 0.6–0.8 kg/cm2 and HI 8–9 kg/cm2. Damage to the capillary pipe is leaking. The action taken is to replace the capillary tube components, so the temperature parameters become LO=1.5–2.0 kg/cm² and HI=14.5–15 kg/cm². Once the pressure on the compressor, LO=4–6 kg/cm² and LO=7–10 kg/cm². The temperature is hot in the vehicle cabin. After replacing the compressor Normal pressure LO=1.5–2.0 kg/cm² and HI=14.5–15 kg/cm². Unstable Condenser temperature, LO=15Psi. HI=300–350Psi. cleaning is carried out at the temperature parameters LO=25Psi and HI=150 Psi, normal conditions. The hot room temperature = 29.2ºC and the cleaning action is carried out, then the temperature becomes = 16.8ºC, the AC room temperature returns to normal.

Abstract

The ginger powder making machine is designed and simulated to make it easier to get ginger juice or ginger water for the body to consume. The process of making ginger powder consists of: Power planning for planning a ginger cutting machine Pd = 0.88 kw, Material shaft S30C, diameter ?24 and tensile strength 48 kg/mm2, Bearing type = 6205, two pulleys used, namely drive pulley = 80 mm and the driven pulley = 76.2 mm, the planning speed around the pulley is V = 5.861 m/s. belt length 502.4 mm = 19.77 inches. The shear stress on the 12 mm diameter bolt = 0.188 kg/mm2 and the shear stress on the 14 diameter bolt = 0.141 kg/mm2. The design tangential force on the pin is F = 204 kg and the shear stress on the post plan is ?_k= 2.04 kg/mm2 . Planning Gear box using a ratio of 1: 50, Planning a clutch flans using type FCL 90, Cutting speed of the blade V = 0.48 m/min.

Abstract

Motorcycles are vehicles that have quite high economic value when compared to other vehicles. Motorcycles are made up of several constituent components, one of which is the use of final gear. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of torque and the ratio of torque produced from the final gear size 13,14,15 on the new 2013 vixion motor. From the data obtained, the maximum torque when using the final gear size 13 = 15.24 Nm at a speed of 7.05 rpm. 14 = 15.49 Nm at 7.33 rpm and 15 = 15.91 Nm at 6.83 rpm. While the difference in the ratio of torque produced by the final gear (standard) size 13 and size 14, the difference in value = 0.22 Nm, the final gear size 14 is larger, the difference in the torque ratio between size 14 and size 15, the difference in value = 0.35, is greater than 15 size 14, the difference in the torque ratio between size 15 and size 13 is the difference in value = 0.57 Nm, which is 15 greater than size 13

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh temperature temper (TT) dan cooling rate (CR) terhadap sifat mekanik baja paduan rendah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen yang meliputi pengumpulan data, analisis data dengan menggunakan korelasi pearson dan regresi linear. Kemudian dilihat nilai R-squared untuk mengevaluasi seberapa baik model regresi menjelaskan variasi dari variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi negatif yang cukup lemah antara TT dan YS/UTS, korelasi positif yang cukup lemah antara TT dengan EL/RA, dan korelasi positif yang cukup kuat dengan IS. Dari hasil koefisien regresi linear menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi TT maka akan semakin rendah sifat mekanik baja paduan rendah YS dan UTS. Namun, hasil regresi linear dengan CR menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi CR maka sifat mekanik baja paduan rendah YS dan UTS akan meningkat dan CR akan menurunkan sifat mekanik baja paduan rendah EL/RA/IS.

Abstract

Current technological advances have produced many products that aim to make human work easier. One of them is an iron burning tool that uses a blower as a tool used to increase or enlarge the air or gas pressure that will flow into the combustion container (furnace). The blower used is a 2 inch snail blower as a tool to increase the air pressure so that the air that is supplied can enlarge the burning flame. The furnace used is a drum coated with heat-resistant cement which can withstand the heat of the combustion fire so that the furnace does not melt. The frame materials used are hollow iron measuring 40 x 40 and angle iron measuring 40x40. For combustion, it uses coal as the main fuel and the blower itself as an air distributor so that it can produce the desired fire. Based on the test results in a metal burning furnace, a temperature of 340°C can be obtained as planned so that by heating the metal, various types of equipment can be formed as desired

Abstract

Shaft critical rotation test tool to calculate the maximum deflection on the shaft, the size of the force or pressure is directly proportional to the amount of deflection. Currently the critical shaft rotation test tool is still manual. From the problems above, the author designed a critical shaft rotation test tool using a digital counter (sensor) to read the rotation precisely and accurately, motor power ¼ HP 2800 Rpm rotation. The critical rotation test tool for the shaft has the working principle of using an electric motor where this motor transmits power from the drill chuck to the shaft. The process of planning the critical rotation test tool consists of: power Pd = 0.3 kw, shaft material S30C with ?20 length 1500 mm, bearing type 6204 , bolts ? 12 mm, bolts ? 14, The load used is iron with dimensions ?l 150 mm, ?d 20 mm and a thickness of 10 mm, Drill chuck used as a supporting specimen with a supporting diameter of 20 mm, Frame size 1800 mm x 750 mm x 750mm

Abstract

An elevator is a vertical transportation device used to transport people or goods. Elevators are box-shaped and are generally used in high-rise buildings, usually more than three or four floors. Elevator specifications are determined by its capacity, speed, and carrying capacity. Elevator selection is based on the use of elevators in buildings with traffic, commuting time, peak time and waiting time in terms of capacity (handling capacity), elevator speed. Adequate quantity of vertical transportation is an important factor, because it will affect the quality of service in a building, so maintenance management is needed that can manage elevator performance. The first step in analyzing component repairs is to use direct observation methods, namely primary and secondary data collection, data processing is carried out to extend the service life of Otis elevators, covering the working principles of Otis elevators, knowing the causes of Otis elevator damage, determining the Otis elevator maintenance schedule and knowing how to properly maintain Otis elevators and how to minimize damage that occurs

Abstract

Selection of the type of support that is appropriate to the load will affect the mechanical and physical properties. Using a good type of support and in accordance with welding procedures can have an influence on the welding results (weldability properties). The comparison of the mechanical properties of V-joints to U-joints is that the maximum tensile stress value between V-joints and U-joints is a maximum of 477.17 N/mm2, while the maximum tensile stress value of V-joints is 453.12 N/mm2. The strain value between the V seam connection and the U seam connection is 20%, while the strain value for the V seam connection is 30%. The yield stress value between the V seam joint and the U seam joint is found in the U seam joint with a yield stress value of 356.05 N/mm2, while the yield stress value for the V seam joint is 337.6 N/mm2. The modulus of elasticity value between the V seam connection and the U seam connection is 2,518.09 N/mm2, while the modulus of elasticity value for the V seam connection is 1,529.43 N/mm2.
