Abstract

Pangan Catfish is one of the native fish of Indonesian waters. The majority of catfish in Indonesia comes from aquaculture. Pangan Catfish production in 2020 in Kampar Regency reached 32.402.126 tons. Pangan catfish is impossible to be sold in fresh form because there is no market that can accommodate large amounts of fresh fish. The absence of business management in the center of the salai processing requires an analysis of the salai fish processing business. This needs to be done to see the feasibility of the salai fish processing business, especially after being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at the pangan catfish Processing Center in Koto Masjid Village, XIII Koto Kampar District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Business feasibility analysis used is Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), B/C Ratio and Payback Period. The businesses that were used as research samples were 8 business units. The amount of fumigasion business income reaches Rp. 17,469,000,000/year with costs that reach Rp. 16,290,804,375/ year. The average profit of fumigasion pangan catfish using the salai method in Kampar Regency is Rp. 1,178,195,625,-/ year or Rp. 98,182,987,-/month. Analysis of the business of fumigasion pangan catfis with the salai method in Kampar Regency has an NPV value of Rp. 5,543,328,918,-, the IRR value is 63%, the IRR value is 1.08 and the Payback period value is 3.27. The business of fumigasion pangan catfis said to be feasible with a return of capital in the medium category.

Abstract

Purse seine merupakan alat tangkap yang memberikan kontribusi besar dalam produksi hasil perikanan tangkap di PPN Sibolga. Produksi hasil tangkapan purse seine dari tahun 2015-2019 sebanyak 119.587 ton, yang didominasi oleh ikan pelagis. Untuk mencegah atau mengurangi kebusukan terhadap ikan serta kemungkinan terjadinya penurunan kualitas hasil tangkapan yang mengakibatkan hilangnya harga jual ikan maka perlu memperhatikan cara penanganan hasil tangkapan yang baik ketika di atas kapal. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas ikan hasil tangkapan purse seine menggunakan uji organoleptik. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 01 Maret sampai dengan 30 Juni 2021 di kapal KM. Serasi putra yang mendaratkan hasil tangkapan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Sibolga. Metode organoleptik digunakan dengan lembar score sheet penilaian untuk menganalisa secara langsung kelayakan saat melakukan penanganan ikan hasil tangkapan di atas kapal sampai setelah didaratkan. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan cara pengamatan dan wawancara kepada awak kapal. Berdasarkan perhitungan mengenai ketidaklayakan dan kesesuaian kualitas hasil tangkapan kapal purse seine yaitu berupa kualitas mata ikan, insang dan daging diperoleh nilai rata-rata kesesuaian sebesar 59% (cukup baik).

Abstract

Catfish is the main commodity fish smoking in the Kampar area. Increasing the amount of production causes the waste obtained to be higher. If waste is not managed properly it will pollute the environment. Liquid organic fertilizer is an alternative utilization of processing waste. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the elements N, P, and K in liquid organic fertilizer from catfish processing wastewater. Making liquid fertilizer is done through fermentation techniques. In this case the fermentation was carried out with variations in the time range, 10, 15 and 20 days with variations in the addition of the volume of EM4 microorganisms 0 ml, 10 ml, 20 ml and 30 ml. The catfish waste liquid fertilizer is dark brown to brownish yellow with a pH ranging from 6.65 -7.03. The highest N, P, and K content of catfish waste liquid fertilizer was found to be nitrogen (N) 0.55% with the addition of EM4 30ml with a fermentation time of 10 days, phosphorus (P) 1.01% without the addition of EM4 with a fermentation time of 20 days, and potassium (K) 0.32% with the addition of EM4 30 ml with a fermentation time of 15 days.

Abstract

Bigeye tuna is one of Indonesia's leading fishery commodities. One of the main locations for the routine landing and handling of this species is the Cilacap Fishing Port. The selling price of bigeye tuna plays a crucial role in the sustainability of fisheries businesses. However, unstable and unpredictable tuna prices make it difficult for some businesses to assess their long-term sustainability. Various factors influence tuna prices, both internal to fishing operations and external economic conditions. This study aims to identify factors that influence the selling price of bigeye tuna at the Cilacap Fishing Port. This study used direct observation, interviews, and a literature review, with data ranging from 2022 to 2024. The analytical approach used was multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings indicate that the selling price of frozen bigeye tuna is influenced by production volume, production value, fishing month, and operational costs. The F-test results indicate that the dollar exchange rate, export volume and value, production volume, production value, fishing month, and operational costs simultaneously influence the selling price of bigeye tuna. These variables influence 80.6% of the selling price of bigeye tuna, while 19.4% is influenced by other factors outside the research.

Abstract

Potensi perikanan di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir sangat besar, mulai dari perikanan laut/tangkap hingga keperikanan umum. Potensi tersebut banyak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitar salah satunya adalahdengan membuat usaha pengolahan terasi udang. Pandemi covid-19 yang melanda hampir di seluruhIndonesia berdampak pada produksi pengolahan terasi yang dilakukan masyarakat Desa Tanjung Pasir.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui besarnya margin pemasaran, efisiensi pemasaran danfarmer’s share sebelum dan sesudah adanya pandemic Covid-19 dan menganalisa ada tidaknya perbedaanpemasaran sebelum dan sesudah pandemic Covid-19 di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Hasil dari penelitian iniadalah nilai margin pemasaran sebelum pandemic covid-19 adalah Rp.3.000,-/kg dan setelah pandemiccovid menjadi Rp. 13.000,-/kg. Nilai efisiensi pemasaran sebelum pandemic covid-19 sebesar 5-5,75% dansetelah pandemic covid-19 sebesar 3,33 - 3,83%. Nilai farmer’s share sebelum pandemic covid-19 sebesar85% dan setelah pandemic covid-19 sebesar 56,67%. Uji t menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan pemasaranusaha pengolahan terasi udang antara sebelum dan sesudah adanya pandemic Covid-19 dengan nilai thitung 2,638 > t tabel 2,110.

Abstract

Kabupaten Langkat memiliki potensi perikanan yang sangat besar. Unit usaha di Kabupaten Langkatkhususnya Desa Perlis meliputi usaha berskala menengah dan skala mikro. Tujuan dari penelitian iniadalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha pengolahan ikan asin gulamah di Desa Perlis KabupatenLangkat. Analisis data yang diguanakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis keuntungan, Revenue/CostRatio (R/C Ratio), Break Even Point (BEP) produk dan harga, dan Payback Period. Hasil dari analisistersebut adalah usaha pengolahan ikan asin gulamah baik skala menengah maupun mikro dikatakan layakuntuk dijalankan dengan lama pengembalian modal dalam kategori cepat. Keuntungan usaha ikan asingulamah skala menengah sebesar Rp. 1.095.670.000,-/tahun dan keuntungan usaha ikan asin gulamahskala kecil sebesar Rp. 657.296.667,-/tahun. Besar nilai BEP produksi usaha skala menengah adalah115.549 kg dengan nilai BEP harga sebesar Rp.10.913,-/kg, nilai BEP produk usaha kecil adalah 51.336 kgdalam 1 tahun dengan nilai BEP harga sebesar Rp.9.697,-/kg. Nilai R/C ratio 1,56 untuk skala menengahdan 1,75 untuk skala kecil. Nilai Payback Period sebesar 0,64 untuk skala menengah dan 0,57 untuk skalakecil.Kata kunci: gulamah, usaha, keuntungan, kelayakan
