Abstract

The problem of illegal logging causes various disasters such as flood and landslide,this thing is involved with the deforestasi and degradation of environment that keep onhappening.In general, this research is meant to analyze the factors that hampers the programmof Asia Forest Partnership (AFP) and the efforts that are implemented in doing theprogramms to solve illegal logging.The method of data collecting is done by collecting secunder data, then analyzed inqualitative to obtain the draft about the main problem by using deductive method. Themethod of this research is the method of qualitative descriptive. The data is obtained throughsecunder data such as, book, journal, magazine, newspaper and website.From the result of research, that the programms that are implemented Asia ForestPartnership (AFP) to solve the practice of illegal logging as one of the effort of solvingtowards the criminal act based on the determination of cooperation between IndonesiaGovernment especially the government of Riau Province and Japan with the memberscountries of AFP, which one as the impact of illegal logging can cause many disadvantagesboth in the government, society, forest, environment and its ecosystem, also experience theobstacle in implementation process of the programm. So various efforts are implemented tosolve the practice of illegal logging.The effort that is implemented by AFP to solve thepractice of illegal logging, namely the preventive effort, and represive effort.Keywords: Asia Forest Partnership, Illegal Logging, Riau’s forest.

Abstract

This study attempts to outline anything ATF (ASEAN Tourism Forum) programs in an effort to promote Wonderful Indonesia. And also will explain how ATF programs in an effort to promote Wonderful Indonesia. The methodology used is qualitative study. This study focused to talk the efforts of ATF to promote Wonderful Indonesia. Second, researchers feel the need to give time limit to phenomena or problem to check such as in 2011-2017.This research use a pluralism perspective and international organizations theory. The level analysis is international organizations, this reseach also includes the concept of tourism as the point of views this research.The study concluded that ATF has done his role as international forums in an effort to promote Wonderful Indonesia. Abstract

The process of globalization encouraged the emergence of new actors in international cooperation, namely the local government with one of the forms of sister city international cooperation. Bandung is one of the cities that utilizes this collaboration to optimize its regional potential with the City of Petaling Jaya, Malaysia since 2015. This research aims to explain why Bandung wants to do a sister city collaboration with Petaling Jaya. The research method used in this study is descriptive-qualitative which uses primary data based on interviews and secondary data such as books, journals, and several other sources. The perspective that I use is a pluralism perspective with the level of analysis of the nation state and using the theory of international cooperation. The result of this research is to tell the reason Bandung collaborated with Petaling Jaya because of several factors such as the economy sector because it is a well-known shopping tourist destination, Petaling Jaya is also a city of education as well as Bandung so that both have extensive cooperation opportunities, have good urban planning and tourism advanced. Abstract

This research analyze about Indonesian Diplomacy by Wonderful Indonesia Campaign to increase Indonesia tourism sector in international world, especially during 2011-2015. One of Indonesian Government efforts to increase the tourism sector is by launch a country branding to promote the Indonesia’s wonderful tourism potential. On January 2011, the government under the Culture and Tourism Minister officially launched the new tourism country branding “Wonderful Indonesia” replaced the previous branding “Visit Indonesia”.This research shows how the diplomacy of Indonesia which involves many parties to promote the Indonesia tourism sector by Wonderful Indonesia campaign. As the world largest archipelago and a country with mega-biodiversity, promotion is an Indonesia government priority to shows the world that Indonesia has many destinations supporting the tourism sector and to create the Indonesia good image in international world.The data were collected from many sources like books, journals, and websites that can support this research. In this research, the reseacher uses neorealism perspective to describe the Indonesian Diplomacy by Wonderful Indonesia Campaign. This research will be analyzed and explained by Multi Track Diplomacy. Abstract

This study will discuss the role of the World Bank in support of the privatization of thewater sector in Indonesia. Commencement of water privatization in Indonesia in 1998 at theinitiative of the World Bank offer loans. Water resources sector reform process began in 1999.This process begins with setting up the new water resources law to replace the Water Act. DraftWater Management Act emerged as a prerequisite World Bank loan. Data collection techniquesused in this study is a multi case study. linking theory with data obtained through the researchlibrary (library research). data obtained from books, journals, magazines, newspapers and othersources (document analysis). I also use the internet facility in the process of data collectionrelated and relevant to the issues discussed in this study.The author uses the theory of international organizations. International organizationscan be interpreted as a formal bond that transcends national boundaries are set to form aninstitution in order to facilitate cooperation between the parties involved in the various fields.Implementation explain the concept of economic privatization privatization in many countries isseen as a strengthening of the market in the economic structure of the country. Privatization isan attempt to restore economic activity to the private sector by reducing government interferencein the national economy.Under pressure from the World Bank, the Indonesian government together with theWorld Bank since 1998 put together a program structuring of water in Indonesia is draftinglegislation Water Resources in which the set of policies in the management of the water sectorinclude regulatory and institutional framework, management watersheds and irrigation. Ifpreviously the private sector is only involved in the exploitation and management of drinkingwater, water resources law allows the private sector's role in all areas of water, of water supply,drinking water, until the fulfillment of the raw water for agriculture.Keywords: water privatization Indonesia, the World Bank, international organization theory, the conceptof economic privatization, water resources law.

Abstract

This research aims to determine about interests of the United States in an effort to improvebilateral relations of Japan adn South Korea post distortion of history .Type of this research isdescriptive analysis.Japan and south Korea are the two countries that have egos to be able tocarry out bilateral cooperation, this is due to historical factors. Japan is a country tateverinvaded south korea and caused reluctance to cooperate with japanese. United states as an allyof both countries try to take a role in the problem occured, the author tries to explain detailabout what the American interest in improving relations between the two countries.Sources to bepresented in this research is secondary sources.Sources were obtained through literature review, other books, internet, ect. The sources analysisisqualitativeanalysis.This research uses a level analysis of nation-state , use perspective thatdescribes of national interest. The national interest is a purpose, expectations, and goals to beachieved by country.The conclusions of this research the interest that is To maintain stability and security in theregion to maintain position as the country’s sole hegemony in the world., as well as reducing theinfluence of north korea and Cina especially as countries have different ideologies. Abstract

This research will explain why Indonesia banned the export of raw minerals out of State that is described in the study case of a ban on the export of nickel mineral to Tiongkok. The purpose of this research is to find out how the mining mineral in Indonesia, and how the necessity of Tiongkok about nickel mineral in Indonesia and to discover why Indonesia banned the export of nickel mineral to Tiongkok that is listed in the regulations No.4 of 2009. Indonesia is reputed to be the world's largest exporter of minerals but why Indonesia banned the export of nickel minerals to abroad in the middle of the conditions under which each country sought to increase his country's export value respectively.The method that used is library research where the data were obtained from sources that are relevant to the research problems are discussed. This research uses the perspective of mercantilism, and theories of foreign policy as well as the concept of national interest according to Jack C.Plano and Roy Olton.The results of this research indicate that the purpose of Indonesia stop the export of raw nickel minerals to Tiongkok is to increase the export value of nickel minerals that will be exported. Through the regulations No.4 of 2009, Indonesia aims to improve mine activities by attempting to build a smelter or tools to process the raw nickels in order to increases the sell value of nickel aboard. Construction of the smelter in Indonesia is expected to increase revenue through exports of nickel from Indonesia to abroad. Keywords: Mining, nickel, Smelters, Regulations No.4 of 2009.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the strategy undertaken by Indonesia in an effort to increase the number of foreign tourists from South Korea. Indonesia, which has long good bilateral relations with South Korea in various fields has been a bridge to continue to improve relations between the two countries. Counting the number of unstable South Korean tourists visiting Indonesia made the Indonesian government move quickly to set the strategy to be used to attract South Korean tourists.This research method is obtained from books, journals, and websites that support the hypothesis. In this paper, the author uses the perspective of Neorealism with the theory of Foreign Politics and the concept of tourism. The author uses the level of analysis of the nation state as an actor in international relations. This study uses qualitative research methods.The result of this study is that the Indonesian government uses an international-scale promotion with BAS (Branding, Advertising, and Selling) strategy approachers, marketing aspects using the DOT (Destination, Origin, and Time) approach, and media aspects using the POSE (Paid Media, Owned Media) approach. , Social Media, And Endorser) to increase tourists visiting South Korea. From 2015 to 2017 the international promotion carried out by the Indonesian government to attract tourists from South Korea is through Visit Indonesia, arts and cultural festivals, and also through South Korean reality show television programs that show the beauty of Indonesian tourism.Keywords: Strategy, BAS Strategy, Indonesia Tourism, South Korean Tourist, International Promotion.

Abstract

This research describes the policy of the organization of Islamic conference revokemembership status in Syria. Organization of Islamic Conference is a non-militaryorganization founded in rebates, Morocco on 25 September 1969, Syria is one of the memberstates of the organization of Islamic conference. conflict in Syria is a complex problem whichis a violation of human rights, the number of casualties and the absence of securityguarantees for the citizens.The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method of the facts. Thisstudy is an explanation that describes the problem, indications, policies, and actions. Intechnical writing, the authors collected and compiled the data through the study of literaturefrom multiple sources such as books, journals, articles, websites, and other media. Abstract

This study describes the cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia in response totransboundary haze pollution in Riau Province in 2008. The purpose of this study is to determinehow the cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia in response to transboundary hazepollution problem.The research method used is a descriptive of qualitative research method about the facts.This research is an explanatory that describe about problem, indication, policies, and actions. Inwriting techniques, the author’s collect and collate data through library research from severalsources like books, journals, articles, websites, the media and others. In this study also use theconcept of international cooperation.Forest fires result in the emergence of smog and haze pollution. The smog is not only feltby Indonesia alone, but other countries also feel the smog. One of the countries that feel thesmog is Malaysia.Malaysia agreed to cooperate with Indonesia to tackle land and forest fires inRiau Province, followed by the signing of the agreement mutual of understanding on 03 June2008 in Jakarta.Keyword: Indonesia and Malaysia Interest, Transboundary Haze Pollution.
