Abstract

This study aims to describe the potential threat of transnational crime in the field of narcotics smuggling faced by the Government of Indonesia in the maritime border area of Rupat Island and to describe the strategy of the Indonesian Government in overcoming the threat of narcotics smuggling in the maritime border area of Rupat Island. In guiding data retrieval and discussion, this study uses a neorealism perspective that focuses on system structure, interacting units, and on system continuity and change with the main theory of decision making. This study used the descriptive qualitative method.The research found that: first, the sea border area of Rupat Island is vulnerable to the threat of narcotics smuggling from abroad. Its position in the waters of the Malacca Strait is a potential place for the smuggling of narcotics; second, in tackling the threat of narcotics smuggling, the Indonesian Government at least put forward a strategy to strengthen the border area by forming the National Border Management Agency (BNPP) and a strategy to strengthen the action to prevent the threat of Narcotics Smuggling by establishing the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).This study concludes that the Indonesian Government's strategy in tackling the threat of narcotics smuggling can conceptually be effective, but at the level of implementation in the maritime border area of Rupat Island, there are not many traces of it in strengthening national insight, strengthening defense and security, strengthening economic infrastructure and strengthening socio-culture. Abstract

This research entitled Application of Excellent Service by the Caretaker of Muara Takus Temple, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. This study aims: (1) to find out how the implementation of excellent service by the caretakers of Muara Takus Temple, Kampar Regency has been implemented in accordance with the A4 concept of excellent service, (2) to find out the obstacles in implementing excellent service at Muara Takus Temple, Kampar Regency. The sample used in this study was 100 people, the sampling technique was determined using accidental sampling techniques, this study used a mixed method to determine the problems raised in this study. This research was conducted at Muara Takus XIII Koto Kampar Temple, Muara Takus Village, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The research was conducted for 4 months, starting from January 2021 – April 2021. The data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The samples of this research are visitors who have visited Muara Takus Temple, Kampar Regency. The results of this study indicate that overall the respondents gave good responses to the application of excellent service to the caretakers of Muara Takua Temple, Kampar Regency, this is evidenced by the results of the scores from the responses of visitors who have visited Muara Takus Temple, Kampar Regency with good scores. Abstract

Conservation is a from of human attemp to preserve the nature. One example of conservations is national park which covers a large area with pristine ecosystems. Therefore, national parks are the answer to the high rate of natural damage that has occured. This research was conducted to determine the visitor’s perspective toward the Attraction Management of Zamrud National Park in Siak Regency, Riau Province. This Study aims to describe the attractiveness and management of Zamrud National Park by using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to classify  the problems raised in this study. The data collection techniques used in this study were observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that visitors strongly agree that the attraction of Zamrud National Park tourist attraction has been carried out well based on the research that had been done.Keyword: National Park, Attraction, Management

Abstract

World Halal Tourism is tourism that refers to halal destinations. world halal tourism is part of the tourism industry aimed at Muslim tourists. This study analyzes Taiwan's strategy to develop world halal tourism to attract Indonesian Muslim tourists. Taiwan's strategy is to develop halal tourism in Taiwan as a form of developing Taiwanese halal tourism and responding to the needs of Indonesian Muslim tourists during their trip to Taiwan.        This study uses a constructivism perspective level analysis of the nation state strategy theory. The concept used is the concept of halal tourism. The method used is a qualitative method. Collecting data using secondary data through library research taken from books, journals and websites.         This study describes the results of Taiwan's strategy to develop World Halal Tourism (WHT) to attract Indonesian Muslim tourists. The strategy carried out by Taiwan is to develop facilities that are halal and make the country Muslim Frendly. The development carried out by Taiwan can be seen from 276 halal restaurants and hotels as well as 10 mosque buildings. Taiwan's halal certification is carried out by the Chinese Muslim Association, the Taiwan Halal Integration Development Association (THIDA), the Taipei Grand Mosque Foundation by conducting an assessment and testing of the feasibility of halal tourism objects carried out directly with the Indonesian Ulema Council. Keywords : Taiwan, Strategy, Halal Tourism, Indonesian Muslim Tourists

Abstract

Pekanbaru is the capital city of Riau Province which has excellent potential in tourism and business. Hotel The Zuri is a millennial hotel that suitable for leisure and business. Where's the hotel with the highest swimming pool in Pekanbaru.  This study aims to determine the implementation of health and occupational safety (K3) at the Housekeeping Department, Hotel The Zuri Pekanbaru. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to comply with the problem analysis based on data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The implementations of occupational health and safety include occupational health problems, the scope of occupational health, health problems that may occur due to work, prevention of occupational health and safety problems, principles of occupational health and safety, and basic principles of assisting accidents. Based on the results of the study, conclusions can be drawn that the implementation of occupational health and safety in the Housekeeping Department of The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru has been carried out well but has not fully complied with the standard operating procedures of K3.                                                                                         Keywords: Hotel, Housekeeping, Occupational Health and Safety

Abstract

This research is about a international economy politics in international relations study which gives description and analyzes about The Influence of Indonesia’s Rattan Export Policy to the Cooperation Relations between Indonesia-Germany as efforts increasing the Indonesia’s rattan products competitiveness on world trades in 2012-2015 . Indonesia is one of the main produscing countries of rattan. It makes Indonesia as dominantly supplier of rattan in the world trade. To keep the equalization of rattan trades in domestic and transborder trades, Indonesian government determines the rattan export policy that reacts to the international rattan trades. One of them is Germany as the most importer in Europe.This research is expanded by mercantilism perspective, supported by international cooperation theory, decision making theory and competitive advantage theory. This research is using state analysis unit as the main actor in international relations.This research technic and solved by qualitative research methods and library research technic.The Indonesian policy of rattan export reacts to the cooperation relations between Indonesia-Germany that is formed the new cooperation of rattan sector that held to increase the quality and productivity of Indonesia rattan to be able to compete in international trades.Keywords:Rattan, Policy, Reaction, Competitiveness, Cooperation

Abstract

Tuorism is one of aspect to make a nation grow and can be positif impact for a nation, because of that reason many nation want to promote their tourism aspect and in this reasearch will describe South Korea as a nation to increase tourism aspect. South Korea Effort to increase tourism aspect trough sports olympic, the aim of this effort is to promote South Korea culture at the opening ceremony winter olympic 2018 in Pyeongchang that will show Korean traditional culture to attract people and make them think that South Korea haved beautyfull culture and that can make them comeback to Korea for vacation.            The Researcher collect data from Journal,books,official website of international organization and official goverment,and website of mass media and use constructivism prespective combine with culture diplomacy theory to analyze South Korea effort to promote that they haved rich traditional culture for attarct foreign touris with opening ceremony of Pyeongchang winter olympic 2018 .            Result of this reasearch show that South Korea effort to increase foreign tourism use opening ceremony Pyeongchang winter olympic 2018 to attract foreign tourism by cultural peformances of Korean traditional clothes,dance, Korean singer to promote K-pop and show peace aspect with North Korea.   Key Words : South Korea,Pyeongchang winter olympic,IOC,Traditional culture,Tourism.

Abstract

This present research describes the motivation of Indonesia Government to implementation of tax allowance policy for foreign investor that will invest in Indonesia in 2015. Global economic crisis and increase of United States economic has impact for economic of Indonesia. In 2014 Indonesia has defisit for trade and moneter transaction.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the motivation of Indonesia Government implementation of tax allowance policy for foreign investor that will invest in Indonesia. The theories applied in this research are merchantilism perspective with the decision making theory by Richad Snyder about internall and externall factors.The conclusion of the research that motivation of Indonesia Government to implementation of tax allowance policy are to keep economic and politic interest. This was due the defisit of moneter and trade payment, the weakness of Indonesian trades for foreign export, the weakness of trade balance and to support of foreign invesment to use rupiah in trade processing.Key words: motivation, implementations policy, tax allowance and investment

Abstract

This research explain about the effect of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) toward the foreign worker at Riau province. After the prevailing of MEA, there are an increase of foreign worker who came to Indonesia especially to Riau province, this phenomenon occured due to of MEA has erase some obstacles in certain current such as product, service, investment, skill workers and of course those things will bring an effect itself after the prevailing of MEA toward the using of foreign worker at Riau province. The perspective used in this research is Liberalism Perspective with International Cooperation Theory. The data used in this research is secondary data that obtained through kinds of literature such as books, journals, newspapers, certain institution data and other document that support this research. The data obtained was selected and then being analyzed in a qualitative way and arranged in form of descriptive research report. The result of this research, after the prevailing of MEA toward the using of foreign worker at Riau province, it has either positive and negative effects. The negative effect such, MEA create such a competition between foreign and local worker, MEA could make a foreign worker who came to Indonesia to replace the position of local worker in a work field, therefore the positive effect of MEA is we would have a lot of foreign investment coming and there will be a transfer in terms of technology and knowledge in the future.Keyword: ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), foreign worker, ASEAN, Riau Province

Abstract

This research describes the policy of Thailand Government participate in the implementation of the ATF in the improvement of the tourism industry in 2011-2015. ASEAN Tourism Forum is a forum of the largest tourism in the ASEAN region. These activities are routinely held each year involving all sectors of the tourism industry from all member countries of ASEAN. In 2011, ATF meeting held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia agree on some specific strategies in the field of tourism which aims to make ASEAN as a single destination for foreign tourists. Earlier, Thailand by Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has proposed the idea of a single application of the visa in the sub-region ASEAN. The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from the books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the policy of Thailand Government participate in the implementation of the ATF in the improvement of the tourism industry in 2011-2015. The theories applied in this research is decision making theory by Richard Snyder about internal and external factors. This research shows that basically Thailand strongly support and encourage other countries to prepare to welcome the implementation of the policy. In addition, Thailand contributed to cooperate and assist countries in order to accelerate the implementation of the single visa scheme throughout Southeast Asia.
