Abstract

In the current technological era, several educational institutions' teacher attendance and payroll system uses manual recording in a book for each attendance and payroll. This research aims to design and build a teacher attendance and payroll system integrated with a database using radio frequency identification (RFID). This attendance and payroll system consists of several main components, namely E-KTP used as a substitute for ID cards and RFID readers used to read teacher attendance information. The attendance and payroll system has several features, namely, attendance and return scan page, attendance summary report and payroll report in form of salary report. The method used in this design is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The method provides much faster development and better results than the traditional cycle. The information system testing used is blackbox and whitebox testing. The results of implementing the Attendance & Remuneration Information System in SD Negeri 1 Permanu have shown that the system improves the attendance of teachers.

Abstract

This research develops a real-time facial micro-expression recognition system, focusing on analyzing the onset and apex phases of micro-expression on the Spontaneous Activity and Micro-Movements (SAMM) dataset. Micro- expressions are very brief (0.04 - 0.2 seconds) facial muscle movements that often occur when a person is trying to hide emotions. The developed system aims to improve computation time efficiency and micro-expression recognition accuracy by optimizing feature extraction techniques and selecting more specific facial areas, including facial components such as eyebrows, eyes, and mouth. This research successfully improved the computation time efficiency by 51.96%, almost half the time required by the previous method. In addition, this study shows an increase in efficiency compared to previous studies, with an increase of 34.3% for SVM with Manual Sampling technique and 32.6% for MLP-Backpropagation. In the Random Sampling technique, SVM efficiency increased by 6.1%, but MLP-Backpropagation accuracy decreased by 4.8%. This method achieved 77.9% accuracy for MLP- Backpropagation, which is higher than the previous method. This research contributes to accelerating micro- expression recognition systems and improving accuracy, which opens opportunities for real-time emotion analysis applications such as lie detection or human behavior monitoring in a broader context.

Abstract

Tugas pokok TNI AD sebagai menjaga kedaulatan negara, mempertahankan keutuhan wilayah NKRI, serta melindungi ancaman dan gangguan dari pihak luar. Dengan masih adanya seperatis atau Organisasi Papua Merdeka (OPM), Pasukan tempur salah satu, satuan yang berfungsi untuk melaksanakan tugas mengintaian dan pertempuran diwilayah konflik, Dalam pelaksankan Patroli Pasukan tempur mengamankan daerah rawan/konflik yaitu membuat Basis Operasi Depan (BOD), salah satu pengamanan didaerah rawan tersebut dengan alat pendeteksi gerakan untuk membantu pos tinjau/dengar. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang alat untuk mengetahui gerakan musuh didaerah pos tinjau/dengar dengan menggunakan sensor Passive Infrared HC-SR501 dengan mengirimkan data melalui modul komunikasi jarak jauh menggunakan Gelombang Radio Frekuensi atau NRF24L01, Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangun sebuah sistem alat pendeteksi insurjen dengan memanfaatkan sensor Passive Infrared. Pengiriman data dilakukan secara remote menggunakan frekuensi radio dari tempat sensor berada (RTU) ke unit master (MTU) sebagai penyedia notifikasi untuk pengguna dengan output berupa LED, Buzzer, dan LCD. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dilakukan pengujian terhadap kinerja sistem alat dan dilaksanakan analisis sinyal keluaran sensor terhadap objek target yang diujikan. Passive Infrared (PIR) dapat mendeteksi radiasi panas yang dipancarkan oleh objek target. Setiap objek target memiliki sinyal hasil bacaan sensor PIR yang berbeda. Sinyal keluaran dari sensor PIR membentuk pola yang menggambarkan bagaimana magnitudo pancaran radiasi inframerah objek target terhadap waktu. Pengembangan lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan sistem pakar maupun dengan menambahkan sensor yang melengkapi PIR dapat meningkatkan kemampuan serta menyempurnakan sistem alat pendeteksi insurjen dalam hal decision making dan klasifikasi objek target.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing an expert system to detect pests and diseases affecting soybean plants (Glycine max), which often reduce yield. The system employs forward chaining with the best-first search decision-making algorithm, which was developed using the waterfall methodology. Data utilized includes comprehensive information on symptoms, types of pests, diseases, and their respective management solutions gathered through case studies and expert interviews. Users of the system can input observed symptoms in soybean plants, and the system provides diagnoses and treatment recommendations based on established knowledge rules. Feasibility testing of the system was conducted using the TAM approach to assess technology acceptance among users and BlackBox Testing to ensure system reliability from a technical perspective. Test results indicate that the expert system is viable, achieving a feasibility rate of 83.7% based on TAM criteria and 100% across eight modules using BlackBox Testing, demonstrating significant potential in effectively supporting the diagnosis and management of pests and diseases in soybean plants.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berdasarkan permasalahan yang dialami oleh Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama (MINU) Jatirejoyoso yaitu tidak memiliki ruang laboratorium IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan ketiadaan ruang laboratorium IPA di MINU Jatirejoyoso, yang menghambat optimalisasi kegiatan praktikum IPA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun aplikasi laboratorium virtual IPA berbasis Android sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif bagi siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan menggunakan model ADDIE dan software Adobe Animate dengan bahasa pemrograman Actionscript 3.0. Pengujian aplikasi dilakukan dengan teknik White-box Testing berbasis Path dan Black-box Testing berbasis Equivalence Partitions. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berfungsi dengan baik, dengan 11 keberhasilan dari 11 uji percobaan tanpa kegagalan dengan persentase sebesar 100%. Kesimpulannya, meskipun fasilitas praktikum IPA di MINU Jatirejoyoso masih kurang memadai, siswa tetap dapat melakukan praktikum IPA secara virtual menggunakan aplikasi ini.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) such as Noka Dessert often use outdated methods to document financial transactions, which makes tracking finances in real time impossible and is prone to errors. This study intends to explore the creation of a web-based financial management system with the purpose of automating the task of record-keeping and improving real time reporting using the Design Thinking approach. Focusing on users such as owners and employees ensures enhanced accuracy, efficiency, and improved accessibility of the data. The system allows forser authentication as admin and staff, with rights for data entry, validation, and reporting. Functional testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) has indicated a satisfactory user experience with a mean score of 76. Further research is recommended towards connecting the system with digital payment platforms, overhauling the inventory system, and conducting regular workshops. Noka Dessert is anticipated to improve financial management in this system, leading to sustainable business growth.
