Abstract

Posttpartum family planning was very important to prevent unintended pregnancy. Based onthese data, Sukowono Subdistrict has lowest postpartum FP participant that was any 1 personthan another subdistrict. The low service caused by the lack of FP counseling treatmenttherefore it will impact to the increasing of unmet need. This research aims to know effects offamily planning's counseling among third trimester pregnancy women to participation ofpostpartum family planning in sukowono subdistrict, Jember District. This type of research wasquasi-experimental research with the type of Community Trial. The study was conducted inNovember 2014 until July 2015, in Sukowono Subdistrict. The total respondents were 45 peopleand the randomization ratio was 1:2 for the control and intervention groups. Result showed thatgroup that was given counseling have knowledge and attitude higher than group that was notgiven counseling The analysis results of FP counseling effect to postpartum FP participationshow experimental group percentage of respondents who participate to postpartum FP washigher than control group, and there was significant relationship between counseling treatmentand postpartum FP participation. The analysis results also showed there was no differencebetween planning and realization of postpartum FP participation in group that was given FPcounseling.Keywords: Family Planning's Counseling, Postpartum Family Planning

Abstract

Sexual violence affects women's sexual health. Sexual violence not only affects the reproductive organs physically, but also have an impact on psychological or mental condition of the victim. The goal of research to analyze the association between sexual violence with female sexual function in Jember regency through approach cross sectional research subjects are married women aged 25-40 years and living with a partner were 107 people with a sampling technique pusing method multistage random sampling. Data obtained are presented in tables and analyzed using chi-square test and logistic regression test with significance level of 95% (α = 0,05). The results showed that most women experience sexual coercion, so most women experience problems with sexual function. Women with age ≥ 30 years, low education level, did not work, low income, marital 0-9 years old, and has 2 children are more likely to experience sexual violence. Women with age ≥ 30 years, low education level, did not work, low income, marital 10-20 years old, and has 2 children are more likely to experience sexual dysfunction. The experience of sexual violence and the level of education is the most dominant factor for women to experience sexual dysfunction. It was necessary socialization and understanding of violence against women and female sexual function to improve the reproductive health of women. Abstract

Quality of life is a very board concept that was affected by individual physical condition, psychological, level of independence, and individual's relationship with the environment. This research aimed to determine differences in the quality of life of the elderly who living at community and Social Services, according to the physical, psychological, social, and environmental domain. This research was analytically studies using cross sectional design. The number of sample was 210 respondent. Mann Whitney and Kruskal Wallis test (alpha 0,05) was applied to analyze the data. There were not significant difference between quality of life of the elderly living at community and at Social Services in Jember (p=1.000). Based on domain quality of life, the were significant difference between physical, psychological, social, and environmental domain of the elderly living at community and Social Services in Jember.   Keywords: elderly people, quality of life, community, Social Services

Abstract

Unmet need for family planning is a multidimentional problem because it is influenced byvarious factors. Unmet need for family planning at East Java in 2013th was decrease from14,89% become 13,44%. But, the unmet need issue was enough higher than anotherprovince. Although, the unmet need issue in Bondowoso was high and Klabang sub districtwas higher than another distric in Bondowoso. This research aim to determine of unmetneed for family planning among married women, according to the demographiccharacteristic, social economic, and access in family planning services. This research wasanalytically, using cross sectional design. The number of samples was 219 respondentswho chosen by proportional random sampling technique. Bivariable analysis by Chi Squaretest and multivariable analysis by logistic regression (α=5%). There is a significant relationbetween the number of living children (OR=0,08), wealth status (OR=3,7), geographic orphysical accessibility (OR=0,19), psychosocial accessibility (OR=0,23), and cognitiveaccessibility (OR=3,84) with unmet need for family planning among married women.Keywords: Married women, unmet need, family planning

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the developing countries that still has problem of population growth. The population of Indonesia in 2015 as much 255.5 million with a growth rate of 1.38%. The ideal number of residents of Indonesia is under 1%. One of the government's efforts to reduce the rate of population growth is to control fertility through family planning programs. Demographic and Health Survey of 2012 showed that unmet need for family planning in Indonesia is still high, that is 8.5%. Unmet need for family planning in Jember 2015 amounted to 10.4%, whereas the target RPJMN 2014 of less than 5%. Subdistrict Sumberjambe contributed the highest unmet need for family planning in Jember. This study aims to analysis relationship between women's autonomy and perceptions of family planning counseling services with unmet need for family planning in the District Sumberjambe. This study is an analytic study with cross sectional design. Total samples of 114 respondents selected by proportional random sampling technique. Bivariable analysis using Chi Square test. There is a significant relationship between the autonomy of women (OR = 3.7) and perceptions of family planning counseling services (OR = 21.60) with an unmet need family planning. Multivariate analysis using logistic regression test. It is evident that perceptions of family planning counseling services (OR = 30.678) effect on unmet need for family planning is strengthened by age, education level and employment status.
