Abstract

This research aims to determine how increasing the drill training method affects the bottom passing ability at Volkas Volleyball Academy KU-17. The population used in this research was Volkas Volleyball Academy KU-17, taken using the purposive sampling method and a sample of 15 people. The test in this study was used to obtain lower passing score data during the pretest and posttest. The analysis method in this research used the paired sample t-test. The results of hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test produce a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 with a calculated t value of -4.878 < 2.1445, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that there is an influence of drill method training on increasing passing—bottom at Volkas Volleyball Academy KU-17. The results of this study produced data that there was an increase in lower passing at Volkas Volleyball Academy KU-17, as evidenced by the paired sample t-test sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 with a calculated t value of -4.878 < 2.1445, which means that H0 was rejected and Ha accepted. With pretest test results of 40.2 and posttest test results of 45.67. Based on the results and discussion of research that has been carried out, it is concluded that the drill training method can improve lower passing in volleyball games, especially at Volkas Volleyball Academy KU-17.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to determine the level of dribbling ability of Gasak FC Bangkalan players. Materials and Methods: Dribbling skills are one of the basic skills that are very important in the game of football, which involve the player's ability to control the ball while moving on the field. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. Data was collected through direct observation and measurement of dribbling skills using validated standard tests. Participants in this research were 15 football players from SSB GASAK FC. Result: The research results show that the dribbling skills of Gasak FC players are included in the Fair category with an average of 20.42 seconds. Factors such as training frequency, training quality, and intrinsic motivation also have a significant influence on a player's dribbling skills. Conclusion: These findings provide insight for coaches and club managers about the importance of developing training programs that focus on improving dribbling skills, as well as the importance of paying special attention to young players to develop strong basic skills from an early age

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of training with the instep versus the outside of the foot on soccer shooting accuracy. Materials and Methods: An experimental design with pre-test and post-test measures was employed, involving two distinct treatment groups. The first group received training focused on using the instep for shooting, while the second group practiced shooting with the outside of the foot. The study included 30 soccer players, randomly assigned to these two groups. Shooting accuracy was assessed before and after an 8-week training period. Result: Results indicated that both training methods led to significant improvements in shooting accuracy, but training with the instep yielded a greater enhancement compared to using the outside of the foot. Conclusion: These results suggest that instep training is more effective for improving shooting accuracy and should be considered the preferred method for developing shooting skills in soccer players.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to determine the impact of implementing verbal augmented feedback on lay-up exercises among college sports education students. Materials and Methods: This research uses experimental research with a quantitative approach. Experimental research involves manipulating one or more variables to influence the variable being measured. The research population is sports education students from the class of 2022 STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. This study's data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 22. Result: In the normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov, the significance is 0.078, which means it is more significant than 0.05, so it is stated that it is normally distributed. In the comparison of the descriptive statistics table, the mean pre-test and post-test post-test showed an increase in results, so the provision of treatment on the test instrument can be stated as excellent and acceptable. In the Hypothesis test using the Paired sample T-test, the results of the post-test and pre-test significance values of the right and left lay-ups were smaller than 0.05. So, it is stated that the 2 hypothesis variables above are included in the acceptable significance value. Conclusion: Providing verbal augmented feedback greatly influences students' understanding of theory and practice through communication interactions. In its implementation, implementing verbal augmented feedback requires sufficient time to determine the implementation schedule, facilities and infrastructure, as well as evaluating notes to determine each student's progress at each meeting. Verbal augmented feedback is an old method that coaches often use during training sessions, but they often need to be made aware of this. So, the method of implementing verbal augmented feedback can be explored further by lecturers, teachers, and trainers to provide an understanding of the material provided through communication interactions (feedback).

Abstract

This research is a research that uses a standing stork test instrument where the implementation will be carried out online and offline with students of UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Bangkalan. This study was conducted to compare the results of the standing stork test conducted online and face-to-face. The impact of COVID-19 in the world of education is still being felt today. The learning system used will continue to be adapted to the spread of COVID-19 in their respective areas. Blended learning combines offline and online learning which increases the effectiveness of exploring the potential of students. This study uses comparative research with a quantitative approach. Online data collection techniques using video conferencing (zoom meeting, google meet, etc.). Meanwhile, face-to-face data collection techniques are carried out in the school field while still applying health protocol standards. Paired t-test was used to analyze the data and the results showed that there was no significant difference between the online and offline test instruments.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the impact of the fartlek training program on improving endurance and speed in futsal players. Materials and Methods: This quasi-experimental study involved 13 male futsal players (ages 18–25) from the Elano Futsal Team, selected through purposive sampling. Participants underwent a six-week Fartlek training program with three sessions per week. Endurance was assessed using the Multi-Stage Fitness Test (MFT), while speed was measured with a 20-meter sprint test. A paired sample t-test (p < 0.05) was used to analyze pre-test and post-test differences, with descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) summarizing the results. Result: The one-sample t-test results indicate a significant improvement in both endurance and speed following the six-week Fartlek training program. The post-test VO₂max scores (M = 40.46, p < 0.05) showed a statistically meaningful increase compared to pre-test scores (M = 35.29). Similarly, sprint speed improved, with post-test times (M = 2.03, p < 0.05) demonstrating a significant reduction from pre-test values (M = 2.05). Conclusion: In conclusion, Fartlek training is an effective method for improving the physical condition of futsal players, particularly their endurance and speed.
