Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and to increase the mathematic learning evaluation by implying cooperative learning of Team Assisted Individualization. The subjects of this research are student in grade VIII3 of SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru at the second semester of academic year 2015/2016. Total number of participant are 36 whose academic achievement are heterogen. This research is a class action research which have two cycles, each cycle have four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycle closed by daily exam. The data collected by observation and examination at daily based. The data analised by narative descriptive analysis and statistical descriptive analysis. The implementation succes if the improvement of the learning process and the number of students reach minimum completeness criteria (MCC) increase at daily examination I and daily examination II. The research result from the observation form shows that teacher and student activity are better after the treatment implemented. More than half students actively participated in the learning process, as discuss, presented student worksheet (SW), responded to presenter group, and gave the learning conclusion. The students also tried to solve the quiz from teacher in a great manner. The number of students whose achieved basic score of MCC,; daily examination I (first cycle), and daily examination II (second cycle) are 11.11%, 83.33% and 80.55%. This research shows that cooperative learning of Team Assisted Individualization can improve learning process and increase mathematic learning evaluation for VIII3 of SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Mathematical Achievement, Cooperative Learning, Cooperative Learning of Team Assisted Individualization

Abstract

Based on the results of preliminary observations in grade IV of elementary school, it shows that there are students who are slow in doing assignments during the mathematics learning process, both from taking notes and answering written questions from the teacher so that it can be said that there are obstacles in the learning process. In addition, the researcher also found that during the learning process using groups, the researcher also saw that these students were alienated by their friends so that no friends wanted a group with them, this was part of the student's learning problem. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive research methods. Which was held in January 2020. And the informants of the research were students of class IVA SDN 73 / IX Simpang Sungai Duren. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews. The results of data analysis indicate that the characteristics of student learning difficulties in mathematics can be seen in the problem of indifferent attitudes in the mathematics learning process. This learning difficulty occurs from internal factors, namely the absence of an action or action in learning and a lack of self-confidence when carrying out or being involved in an activity.Furthermore, the causes of external factors are seen from family factors, where the economic condition of the family is below the average. parents to be more active in earning a living so that it affects the child's lack of attention in guiding and teaching learning at home.

Abstract

Waste management is an important issue that affects environmental quality and public health. In an effort to increase community awareness and participation in waste management, this research uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Through the PAR method, the community is directly involved in every stage of planning, implementation, and evaluation of waste management programs. This approach aims to strengthen community participation in finding solutions that are sustainable and in accordance with local needs. Activities carried out include counseling, training, and the formation of waste management groups at the neighborhood level, with an approach based on existing local potential and wisdom. The results showed that the use of the PAR method succeeded in increasing community awareness about the importance of independent and sustainable waste management. Active participation of residents in waste management can reduce the volume of waste disposed to landfills and improve environmental quality. In addition, this program also creates a sense of belonging and shared responsibility in maintaining environmental cleanliness. Overall, community-based waste management has proven to be effective in creating behavioral changes that are more environmentally friendly and sustainable, as well as building social solidarity among residents.

Abstract

Studi ini menekankan pada strategi reformasi institusi pemerintahan di Indonesia untuk memenuhi tuntutan era smart governance yang mengutamakan peningkatan pelayanan publik melalui teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK). Makna studi ini terletak pada pentingnya reformasi birokrasi agar dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan kemajuan digital yang mendorong terbentuknya pengelolaan pemerintahan yang terbuka, efisien, dan melibatkan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kebijakan dan praktik reformasi institusi dalam mendukung pelaksanaan pemerintahan digital. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan tinjauan pustaka mengenai kebijakan nasional, artikel ilmiah, dan laporan penelitian yang terkait. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa inisiatif seperti Sistem Pemerintahan Elektronik (SPBE), e-Government, dan kota cerdas terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi, transparansi informasi, serta partisipasi masyarakat. Walaupun demikian, proses reformasi tetap menghadapi tantangan seperti kesenjangan infrastruktur digital, rendahnya literasi teknologi pegawai, fragmentasi regulasi, dan penolakan budaya birokrasi. Penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, pengintegrasian sistem informasi antar lembaga, peremajaan regulasi yang fleksibel, serta pengembangan budaya inovasi merupakan langkah strategis menuju birokrasi yang responsif dan berfokus pada pelayanan publik digital yang berkelanjutan.
