Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of understanding the concept of learners in the learning of physics that apply the model TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) is better than the ability of understanding the concept of learners in the learning of physics that apply learning models group discussion class X MIA MAN I Padang.The population of this researchis class X MIA MAN I Padang Shaded Academic Year 2016/2017 half of the consisting off our classes (X MIA1,X MIA2, X MIA3 andX MIA4). To take samples in this study used a cluster random sampling. Based on calculations, the class X is obtained MIA3 as experimental class and class X MIA2 as the control class. Data collection techniquesused include tests . Data analysis techniques are used to test the hypothesis is by using the t test for normally distributed data and data group homogeneous variance. Based on analysis of data obtained, the cognitive aspects of knowledge competencies average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. So we can conclude the capability of understanding the concepts of physics learners pad experimental class is better than the control class is the class average experimental physics learning outcomes learners are 83.63 and 81.16 in the control class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student self-efficacy in learning Basic Physics at the Tadris IPA Physics study program at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang during the covid 19 outbreak. This type of descriptive research was conducted in this study, with 45 first semester students as the population. This study uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool that has been validated by experts. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the self-efficacy of students in basic physics subjects during online learning was in the good/high category (71.11%). From the aspect of the dimension of self-efficacy, it was also obtained that the average of each dimension obtained high results or in the good category. This means that students have awareness and belief in their potential and can adapt to learning in pandemic conditions. The obstacle for students in learning basic physics is that the implementation of practicum is not optimal. the solution is the need for regulation from educational institutions, especially in practicum courses to continue to practice in the laboratory by paying attention to health protocols.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce a valid, practical and effective Ispring Quizmaker Application Assisted Instrument. The development model of the assessment instrument used is the Plomp model which includes three stages of development, namely: preliminary research (preliminary research), the development phase or prototype (development of prototypephase), and the assessment phase (Assessment phase). The results of the study have produced a valid, practical and effective Ispring Quizmaker application-assisted assessment instrument. The instrument is valid both in terms of material, construction, media and language with an average value of 78.76% with a very valid category. The practicality of the media has an average value of 92.06% with a very practical category, while for the effectiveness of understanding physics concepts based on questions per item of indicators understanding the concept of 65, 11% with the effective category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning model applied by educators is less varied and impossible to use laboratories for learning during the current pandemic, resulting in the low skills of 21st century students. To improve that, they can apply a virtual lab with a guided inquiry model with a learning home portal. This study aims to determine the 21st century skills of students. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research, with a randomized posttest control qroup only design. The population was class VIII students which consisted of 6 classes. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The results of this study indicate that the average student learning outcomes in the final test of the experimental class is 85.92 and in the control class is 43.33 on both learning materials. between 21st century skills class VIII 5 and VIII 6 that t count > t table; 11,579 > 2,06390 means Ha is accepted, Ho is rejected. In conclusion, students' 21st century skills by applying a virtual lab with a guided inquiry model assisted by a learning home portal are better than applying conventional learning models in class VIII of SMPN 1 Ulakan Tapakis

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat instrumen yang dapat mengukur Self -Regulated Learning Mahasiswa Fisika dengan mengukur tingkat validitas. Rancangan instrumen berupa angket Self -Regulated Learning mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 30 pernyataan positif dengan respon berdasarkan skala likert skor 1 sampai 5. Angket self-regulated learning ini dibagi dalam 3 aspek, yaitu aspek metakognitif, motivasi, dan perilaku. Uji validitas yang dilakukan menggunakan validitas isi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat 24 pernyataan yang valid terdiri dari 8 pernyataan untuk aspek metakognitif, 8 pernyataan untuk aspek motivasi, 8 pernyataan untuk aspek perilaku, dan 1 pertanyaan terbuka. Validitas instrument angket SRL ini berada pada kategori valid (80%). Artinya angket ini dapat digunakan untuk mengukur self-regulated learning mahasiswa fisika UIN imam bonjol Padang

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan media interaktif terhadap literasi digital peserta didik dan untuk mengetahui tingkat kualitas media interaktif terhadap literasi digital peserta didik. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi langkah-langkah model Plomp. Tahapan pengembangannya adalah preliminary research, prototyping phase, dan assesment phase. Pada preliminary research dilakukan studi pendahuluan dengan melakukan kajian literatur, analisis kebutuhan dan konteks, dan pengembangan kerangka kerja yang menghasilkan desain awal media interaktif. Prototyping phase terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu: mendesain prototype, melakukan evaluasi formatif, dan revisi prototype. Assesment phase dilakukan untuk mendapatkan media interaktif yang praktis melalui uji coba terbatas pada pembelajaran fisika. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket praktikalitas terhadap peserta didik dan pendidik MAN 4 Mandailing Natal. Analisis data angket dilakukan secara kuantitatif. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa Media Interaktif Berbantuan Kodular Terhadap Literasi Digital Peserta Didik sangat valid dengan skor rata- rata 88,33% dengan persentase kelayakan materi/isi 86%, kelayakan media 87% dan kelayakan bahasa 92%. Uji kepraktisan produk dengan skor rata rata 92,20 % dengan persentase 1 orang pendidik mendapatkan rata – rata 92% dan peserta didik  92,40%. Dari hasil penelitian pengembangan ini disimpulkan bahwa Media Interaktif Berbantuan Kodular Terhadap Literasi Digital Peserta Didik memenuhi persyaratan dengan kualitas valid dan praktis yang bisa digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada SMA/MA.

Abstract

The development of technology demands students to be able to integrate with it in their learning process. One digital medium that can assist students in learning is Wordwall. The aim of this research is to determine the utilization of the Wordwall website game in physics integrated with social science issues for students' critical thinking abilities. This study employs a qualitative research approach with a literature review. The results indicate that the use of the Wordwall website is quite effective and efficient in enhancing students' critical thinking skills, and the implication of social issues is the creation of student engagement.

Abstract

Minangkabau memiliki beberapa daerah desa adat yang dinamakan nagari. Studi etnomatematika pada unsur kebudayaan universal masyarakat adat diperlukan sebagai salah satu usaha pelestarian budaya sekaligus menjebatani budaya lokal dan pembelajaran matematika modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji konsep matematis yang ada pada sistem mata pencarian, peralatan hidup dan teknologi serta penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian etnomatematika Alangui. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Nagari Pariangan dan Nagari Sijunjung Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Informan penelitian ini adalah pemuka adat, cadiak pandai dan pelaku budaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan.  Analisis data dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada sistem mata pencarian, peralatan hidup dan teknologi masyarakat adat Minangkabau terdapat konsep perbandingan, pengukuran dengan satuan tradisional, geometri transformasi, bangun ruang dan kalkulus serta optimasi. Aktivitas dan peralatan hidup serta teknologi dalam masyarakat adat di Minangkabau dapat digunakan sebagai konteks dalam pembelajaran matematika.Minangkabau has several traditional village areas called Nagari. Ethnomathematics studies on universal cultural elements of indigenous peoples are needed as an effort to preserve culture as well as bridge local culture and modern mathematics learning. This research aims to examine mathematical concepts that exist in livelihood systems, living equipment, and technology and their use in mathematics learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with an Alangui ethnomathematics research design. The research was conducted in Nagari Pariangan and Nagari Sijunjung, West Sumatra Province. The informants for this research are traditional leaders, clever cadiak, and cultural actors. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes.  Data analysis with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research show that in the livelihood system, living equipment, and technology of the Minangkabau indigenous people there are concepts of comparison, measurement with traditional units, transformation geometry, geometric shapes, and calculus and optimization. The activities and equipment of life and technology in indigenous communities in Minangkabau can be used as a context for learning mathematics.

Abstract

Commision II of DPR RI plays a crucial role in selecting election organizers at the national level by conducting a fit and proper test (FPT) process. The decisions and mechanisms of the FPT process directly affect the integrity of the election results. This research aims to identify aspects of political recruitment that are applied in the design of the FPT for prospective members of the Indonesian KPU and Bawaslu for the 2022-2027 period using qualitative descriptive methods and data collection techniques through literature studies and interviews. The results show that there is a gulf between the candidacy (candidates’ suitability) and selectorate (political actors) aspects, namely the involvement of political party members in the selectorate aspect, which leads to preferential selection guided by the interests of the political parties. In the technical and location aspect, the difficulty of access for candidates outside Jakarta, a lack of in-depth exposure to the FPT process, the absence of assessment instruments, and limited public involvement are obstacles in what should be a merit-based system in principle. This finding implies that the selected election organizers who are free from political interests are an anomaly in selection processes run by political institutions.
