Abstract

Using Industry 4.0-based technology, this research aims to improve the efficiency of broiler feeding. The automated feeding system developed is capable of regulating the schedule and amount of feed with great accuracy and enables remote monitoring through the Internet of Things (IoT). The results show that, when compared to manual methods, this technology can increase productivity by up to 20%, reduce operational costs, and accelerate the payback time of investment by up to 27%. With these findings, there is a great opportunity to increase competition in Indonesian broiler farming.

Abstract

Perkembangan ekonomi yang pesat meningkatkan persaingan bisnis, termasuk di industri makanan dan minuman (Food and Beverage/F&B) yang menjadi penopang ekonomi Indonesia dan mengalami pertumbuhan signifikan dalam 14 tahun terakhir. Namun, pandemi Covid-19 pada 2020 menyebabkan penurunan tajam di sektor ini. Loyalitas pelanggan dan citra merek terbukti menjadi kunci bagi perusahaan besar seperti McDonald's dan Kopi Kenangan untuk bertahan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada industri F&B di Jawa Barat, yang mengalami pertumbuhan terbesar di Indonesia, dengan tujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi loyalitas pelanggan. Menggunakan metode PLS-SEM, penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan, dan kepuasan pelanggan sebagai variabel mediasi. Hasil penelitian yang peneliti dapatkan merupakan hasil dari observasi secara langsung, dari faktor kepuasan konsumen, kualitas dan produk, dan kualitas pelayanan data yang didapat menghasilkan bahwa, faktor kualitas pelayanan sangat signifikan positif dan efektif dalam membangun loyalitas pelanggan di sektor F&B.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi covid-19 ini, banyak sekali masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi yaitu mengenai pembelajaran daring yang sekarang sedang di gerakan oleh pemerintah. Permasalahan yang utama dalam pembelajaran daring dimulai dari guru yang hanya memberikan tugas tanpa penjelasan yang jelas kepada siswanya, siswa yang tidak mempunya perangkat teknolologi seperti smartphone, tidak ada nya jaringan internet dan motivasi belajar siswa yang kurang dalam menghadapi pembelajaran daring ini. Program pelatihan dan pendampingan pembelajaran daring ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam mengolah materi pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kerjasama siswa dalam menghadapi pembelajaran daring. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metodologi Integrasi Relawan TIK , dimana dalam metode pelaksanaan nya menggunakan metode kombinasi, namun kegiatan offline lebih mendominasi dikarenakan pendampingan lebih efektif dilakukan dengan metode offline. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu dengan meningkatnya kemampuan guru dalam mengolah materi pembelajaran daring dan siswa dapat mengakses dan memahami materi dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Indonesia boasts a wide range of bamboo species and is among the largest manufacturers of bamboo in Asia. However, the Garut Bamboo Creative Industry Center, one of Indonesia's bamboo industries, encounters various challenges in managing this industry. This study is assumed to recognize the need for adaptation to changing times and more efficient management in the bamboo industry supply chain. The aim is to design an organization management and information system architecture based on blockchain technology. The methodology applied the Star Model and prototyping approach, leading to the development of a strategy, an association-based organizational structure, structured business processes, a balanced reward system, and the placement of human resources based on their qualifications. It enables product tracking and increases operational efficiency by integrating blockchain technology into warehouse and production information systems. It also proposes innovative solutions to ensure growth and sustainable development. The study suggests recommendations, including implementing blockchain technology as a product management and supply chain enhancement solution to support the bamboo company's growth and aspirations.

Abstract

The development of technology is a tool that is much needed by tourism to make it easier to obtain information and can also help, simplify and speed up tourist attraction managers in managing data on tourist visits. This information aims to increase tourism profits. Situ Bagendit is a tourist attraction in Bagendit Village, District. Banyuresmi, Kab. Garut. Situ Bagendit is a tourist spot that is of interest to many visitors. Based on the results of interviews with the management of Situ Bagendit and seeing that there are problems with information services where the presentation of information about this tourist attraction is still minimal, whereas after revitalizing this tourist attraction it will become an international scale tourist attraction and also ticket reservations are recorded manually, namely the door guard or the person guarding it. in terms of serving visitors to buy and make payments, they still use paper. The aim of this research is to create an application regarding information services and ticket reservations at these tourist attractions as an effort to make it easier for visiting tourists to find information in advance and order tickets online, tourists no longer need to queue to order tickets. Similar literature studies, field studies with observations and interviews, and literature studies were used to collect data. The methodology used is the Unified Software Development Process, then uses the Flutter framework and Unified Modeling Language modeling and applies the Mobile concept. The results of the research carried out are in the form of a mobile-based application for information services and ticket reservations at the Situ Bagendit tourist attraction so that it can convey information about the tourist attraction and help make it easier for tourists to order tickets online so that those who will visit can make reservations in advance and without delay. have to queue first.

Abstract

This study aims to design a strategy for developing the culinary industry to create a new icon for the city of Garut. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research employs factor analysis to identify key variables influencing culinary businesses, followed by a SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results) analysis to formulate strategies based on strengths and opportunities.The findings reveal five main factors driving culinary industry development: local cultural and traditional values, promotion and collaboration, digitalization and product standardization, product innovation and quality, and quality service. Effective strategies to establish a culinary icon include product innovation, utilizing digital technology in marketing, and strengthening collaboration with local communities and the government.The study implies the importance of policy support in enhancing the competitiveness of Garut’s culinary industry through digital promotion and product standardization.

Abstract

The main issue faced is how to minimize delays and avoid penalties in fuel distribution, which is characterized by dynamic conditions. This study aims to optimize the distribution routes of fuel oil (BBM) to gas stations (SPBU) using a genetic algorithm at the Tasikmalaya Fuel Terminal. The research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach. By applying the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows (CVRPTW) method, the genetic algorithm is expected to generate optimal solutions in terms of distance and time variables. The study focuses on several constraint variables, including operational costs, vehicle carrying capacity, vehicle utilization, and potential penalties. The collected data covers fuel demand, tank truck capacity, distances between the Tasikmalaya Fuel Terminal and SPBU, travel time, operational costs, loading and unloading times, tank truck specifications, and tank truck usage within one delivery period. The results indicate that implementing this model can reduce the risk of delivery delays. In the initial data, the tank truck with license plate Z9357TB was scheduled to deliver fuel to three different SPBU. At the final destination, however, a delay occurred: the truck arrived at SPBU 34.46.310 17.5 minutes late. After route optimization using the genetic algorithm by selecting the shortest route as the initial sequence for visiting SPBU, the delay was minimized to 0.0 minutes, meaning the final destination SPBU no longer experienced delays. In addition, this study provides recommendations to the company regarding the implementation of the route optimization model and identifies opportunities for further development to enhance the model’s effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to provide recommendations for improvements to reduce the defect rate in the tofu production process at PD Mulya Mandiri. This study was motivated by the high defect rate, which has an impact on operational efficiency and production quality. The Quality Control Circle (QCC) method with the Seven Tools and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approaches were used to identify the main causes of product defects and determine effective improvement measures. The analysis was conducted through the collection of defect data, the creation of a Pareto chart, and the tracing of root causes using a cause-and-effect diagram. FMEA was applied to evaluate the potential risk of failure and set improvement priorities based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN). The results of this study identified the main causes of defects and provided recommendations for improvement. The implementation of these solutions is expected to reduce the defect rate by up to 3% and improve product quality consistency. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as a reference for the application of more optimal quality control strategies in the production process.

Abstract

Workplace accidents still frequently occur in the industrial world, especially in the manufacturing industry, particularly on manufacturing production lines. Based on observations, most accidents are caused by unsafe behavior on the part of workers, such as rushing, carelessness, and non-compliance with work procedures. This study aims to identify and analyze the causes of unsafe behavior and provide solutions through a Behavior Based Safety (BBS) approach combined with the 5W1H method. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation of workplace accidents. The analysis was conducted using the ABC (Antecedents–Behavior–Consequences) tool, which maps the triggers of behavior (antecedents), the behavior displayed (behavior), and the consequences (consequences). The results of the study show that the application of BBS is effective in increasing workers' awareness of work safety. Routine observations and direct feedback have been proven to reduce the risk of workplace accidents. The findings from the ABC analysis can be used as a basis for formulating more targeted strategies for improvement and accident prevention.
