Abstract

Migraine is one of the most common neurological diseases in society and has a significant disability impact. According to the Global Burden of Disease Study, migraine is one of the most common neurological disorders in the world, with a greater disability burden than other neurological disorders. In data science, data classification plays an important role in determining the category or class of an object based on a number of available classes. One frequently used classification method is Naïve Bayes, which utilizes mathematical probabilities with the assumption that the decision made is accurate based on the given data. This research develops a classification model using the Naïve Bayes algorithm to predict and classify migraine patient data. This model produces classification values with an accuracy of 88.51% when training from 280 train data given and 89.02% when testing from 120 test data given. The classification results can support the medical world in diagnosing migraine types more accurately, optimizing treatment, saving health costs, and becoming the basis for further research and development in the field of neurology.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the performance of a film list website by implementing the Next.JS framework along with its Fetching API to solve challenges in search efficiency and providing accurate and up-to-date information for users. The amount of outdated and irrelevant data on film websites often prevents users in finding current movie information. This research develops an application using Next.JS, integrated with the Fetch API, to dynamically retrieve data using Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG), improving communication between server and client, while providing a responsive and SEO-friendly user experience. Testing results with Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools show improved performance, with an application score of 92 on the Vercel platform and 82 on the Local side. Cache optimization on Vercel also reduced data transfer size from 2.2 MB to 0.27 MB, significantly speeding up load times and stabilizing the application. These results indicate that the application successfully delivers relevant and up-to-date information with high speed and stable performance. However, this study is limited in terms of testing devices and focuses only on the Vercel hosting platform.

Abstract

Efficient database utilization is essential in application development. This study aims to analyze the performance of PostgreSQL (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL) in CRUD operations and data aggregation using the Spring Boot framework. The research stages include developing a test application, conducting 10 simulation tests for each operation, and analyzing response times. The results indicate that MongoDB excels in create operations with an average response time of 230.4 ms and delete operations at 2.6 ms. In contrast, PostgreSQL demonstrates better efficiency in read operations and aggregations (sum, average, min, max) with superior response times

Abstract

The development of a web-based administrative dashboard for CV Berkat was conducted using the React JS framework and the Ant Design library. The application development process followed the waterfall method, ensuring that each phase, from requirements analysis to system maintenance, was fulfilled and completed systematically. This dashboard is designed to monitor sales data, product management, and employee reports with an attractive and interactive user interface. Based on testing result using Lighthouse, it was shown that the application performs more optimally when hosted compared to running locally, with assesment metrics such as Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Total Blocking Time (TBT) showing better results. The combination of React JS and Ant Design has proven to accelerate the development process thanks to the readily available components and support for the Single Page Application (SPA) method. Overall, this dashboard meets CV Berkat’s needs for real-time and efficient data monitoring while also facilitating future feature development.

Abstract

UMKM Jemari Ragil has successfully digitized its business by joining the e-commerce platform Shopee since September 2023 and reached international markets such as Malaysia. Although marketing strategies through Instagram, WhatsApp, and TikTok are effective, challenges arise from the limited understanding of technology by customers, who often need guidance in using E-commerce. This research aims to implement React JavaScript for the Jemari Ragil' MSME website. The goal is to overcome the main obstacles faced by the owner of Jemari Ragil. The research method includes problem and needs analysis, design and system design, implementation or application development, and system testing. The result of this research is the successful implementation of JavaScript React to build an efficient and interactive MSME website interface. Through the results of Usability Testing system testing and measured using the System Usability Scale (SUS) which resulted in a score of 76 with a good category, indicating that the system can be accepted by users and meets the established usability standards.

Abstract

Dengue Fever is caused by the Flavivirus, which is transmitted through the bites of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes and several other Aedes species. Dengue Fever has a significant impact on public health, especially in large cities like Makassar. This study employs the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to evaluate the main risk factors for dengue fever in Makassar City. The research will be conducted through several stages, including literature review, data collection, determining criteria and their weights, normalizing the decision matrix, calculating final scores, and making decisions. The results indicate that the Totaka sub-district has the highest dengue risk with a score of (0.395307), followed by Gusung (0.329353), while Barang Caddi has the lowest dengue risk (0.000618). This study aims to provide a ranking of dengue risks that can assist decision-makers in formulating prevention and control strategies for dengue fever in Makassar City.

Abstract

Academic website is a technology that can help students obtain information about lectures. The Satya Wacana Academic Information System is an academic website used by Satya Wacana Christian University. Becoming an educational institution with high competitiveness in the quality of science and technology is the vision and mission upheld by UKSW. SIASAT is expected to help UKSW students to compete. Some of the issues complained about by the students is that SIASAT inability to keep up with technological advancements, lack of responsiveness, need for updates, and performance improvements. Therefore, the researchers proposed a solution to redesign the SIASAT website using the design thinking method. The design thinking method was chosen because it focuses on identifying user problems and providing solutions. Design thinking has five stages including Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing. In the testing stage, UKSW students were given a questionnaire using the System Usability Scale method to assess the feasibility of the redesign, resulting in a "Good" category with a Grade Scale of "B".

Abstract

The development of the Glow Math Course learning guidance information system using the Laravel framework has proven highly effective in accelerating the creation of secure and complex web applications. By utilizing the MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, and Blade templating engine, as well as seamless integration with Midtrans, Laravel has streamlined the development process, improved efficiency, and delivered an intuitive user interface. Following User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with students, the evaluation showed that 85.92% of the system met the defined user requirements. Testing involved end users to ensure that the application met their expectations and needs. Additionally, system testing confirmed that the platform effectively supports the business processes of the tutoring service.

Abstract

Indonesia is the biggest maritime country that has big marine resources too. It needed a good strategy so the marine resource usage can be managed well. Now, it can be helped by using information technology. The purpose of this research is to create a Geographic Information System for knowing potential marine resources in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Coast. The result of this paper is a Geographic Information System that will runs in Android devices. The test results show 82,93% of users already satisfied with this application. It indicates that this application is in a Very Good category.

Abstract

Conventional attendance systems often face various problems such as inefficiency, inaccuracies in attendance logging, and limitations in recapitulation processes. Manual systems are prone to human error and time-consuming, while fingerprint-based systems may fail when the sensor is affected by dirty, wet, or damaged fingers. This study aims to develop an attendance system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) by utilizing the face_recognition function in Python and implementing a microservice architecture to improve efficiency and accuracy in attendance recording. The system is developed using the Agile Feature-Driven Development (FDD) method, which focuses on building system features based on prioritized business values. This method is applied within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure a structured, iterative, and user-oriented development process. Facial recognition is performed by comparing the encoding of the captured face image with the data stored in the database. The results show that the system is capable of recording attendance automatically, accurately, and in real-time. Furthermore, the recapitulation process becomes more efficient as the system manages and presents the data systematically.
